Rather it means I have a deep and abiding respect and love of my country and am Patriotic enough to risk my sacred honor, Life, and wealth to stand for it and protect it from ALL enemies both Foreign and Domestic.       The fact is lady, we love this country so much so that we can see what is happening to it by people like you and the only solutions to remedy this is to reign in our government, make it smaller, cut uneccessary programs, get people off welfare which is making them none the better citizens. We will do these things for the betterment of all peoples in these United States of America. To bad there is no longer enough time to accomplish that because people in our own party have been complicit in going along with many of the big government programs that you believe in. Freedom is not free and if we no longer believe in right and wrong then we are doomed to be slaves who are regulated at every turn.       Congresswoman Sarah Sanchez is a leftwing socialist that doesn’t have a clue to what a real American Patriot is all about. How dare her to call our conservative military veterans “unpatriotic” and “haters of America.” I‘m a 73 year old Texan and I’m proud of every year I‘ve been an American citizen and I’m honored to have served my country honorably to support the freedom and rights of the US Constitution. I took an oath to preserve, protect and defend the USA Constitution against all enemies, domestic and foreign. I’ve kept my oath and plan to continue doing so until my last dying breath.

      Just to set the record straight, I’m a decorated USMC combat veteran who spent almost three years in combat in the Vietnam War. I was wounded three times during my TOURS of duty to keep communist from spreading their ideology all over Southeast Asia. I wonder how much of her OWN BLOOD Ms. Sanchez has shed for America? She also took a sworn oath to preserve, protect and defend the USA Constitution from all enemies, both domestic and foreign. She HASN”T kept her oath. She has betrayed the USA and all it’s citizens. What about Spain? 21% unemployment and in danger of defaulting thanks to it’s “green economy” which has lost 2.2 jobs for every “Green” job (many are temporary). What about Portugal? How about Italy? What about Ireland? I find it fascinating and somewhat unsettling that in the face of watching the European union fall apart thanks to it’s unproductive, cradle-to-the-grave-entitlements, members- you still plea for the U.S. to emulate Europe.       They do not have a basic understanding that if they have a ‘planned’ society (by their government), they will already have given up any chance for exceptionalism, and that, Ms Sanchez, is real freedom.       Those may be the very words she uses when she reluctanly (NOT) accepts the democratic nomination for the presidency. Obama was never intended to have a second term . Watch and see how much more damage he will cause by bypassing congress, starting riots, dividing the races, and shutting down our economy. We are in for a rough ride. I still suspect that Obama may go against the plnned agenda and push to remain the nomination. His ego and arrogancy might just put a dent in the progressive plan. Might get pretty interesting and nasty within the dems party. If in fact Hillary does get the nomination we will have a tougher fight. The Clintons do not bow out easily and are leaders in the progressive movement. Hillary was one of the first to flat out say “I think of myself as a progressive.” I have to wonder who will stand up for Obama. If he gets everything accomplished there could be a split in the party that could be to our advantage. I am concerned either way and pray that the repubs get their ducks in a row and unite to show the stronger party and do what is best for our people and our country. The progresssives are a well oiled machine and have their bases covered in all directions. This woman is a perfect example of a well programed robot for the progressive agenda. Reminds me of The Stepford Wives.

      No disrespect intended, but not all of us post the ‘us-vs-them’ rhetoric here. Furthermore, have you been to a liberal leaning site lately? Some of the things written on those sites I won’t quote here due to the vulgarity.

      But, you are right to say things have become extremely polarized in this country. And I lay the blame of this at the feet of the people who are driving a wedge between all of us by promoting things like class warfare, race baiting, the “I’m offended by everything crowd” and demonizing the opposition.

      Minus a few exceptions on either side, let’s be completely fair here. Overall reaction with the major media outlets has been negative towards the TEA party and every attempt has been made to find any bit of dirt on it’s rallies, political candidates and/or members. While the overall general reaction to this ‘occupy’ movement has been relatively positive throughout the media. (again, minus a few exceptions)

      As for Mises and Hayek? Since you promote reading books, which is absolutely splendid, I challenge you to read something by William F. Buckley Jr. or Milton Friedman.

      No but even you have to admit Hayek’s theories were not without their flaws. Hayek was a respectable man in the point that he was a great ‘classical liberal’ thinker. I say ‘classical’ because that is not the same as the modern day liberal movement today.

      I would have been proud to call myself a liberal 200 years ago, but ‘modern liberalism’ has been hijacked and destroyed by the socialist/communist ideologies. And has become the cancer of the world, so to speak.

      Case in point, classical liberalism might very well have followed Friedman or Hayek in economic theory. Modern liberalism follows Keynes.

    The income disparity argument is a false paradigm in a free-market system where individuals are allowed to choose the outcome of their own life. Marxists are stuck in an 1800‘s proletariat vs bourgeois mentality where the poor weren’t given access to the entire economy.

    Marxists like Sanchez believe that money/income is a zero sum game and that when a millionaire makes another dollar it means there is one less dollar for her cherished working class. Further, they believe all money is the government‘s to begin with and that it isn’t private property of the individual.

    A smart, educated, motivated, entrepreneurial and driven person will always make more money than someone without these qualities and this makes these Marxists furious.

      Frustration comes in many colors, and these days, it’s patriotic red, white and blue.
      This butt head has no more ammunition, except to bite the hand that feeds her.

      Would you give the bagman your money for protection, or would you stop the mob from extorting you?
