This 5-Year-Old Singing ‘God Bless the USA’ Could be the Cutest Thing You See All Day

By now you’ve probably heard of the New York public school that canned its students’ planned performance of the patriotic “God Bless the USA” over concerns of offending others. But what you haven’t seen is one of the kindergarteners from the class performing the song anyway.

The teacher behind the song switch also contends that the lyrics were just too grown up for the kids, although that’s under scrutiny because the children are still slated to sing a Justin Bieber song about teen love. Luz Lozada, the mother of one of the boys in the class, joined “Fox & Friends” on Monday to discuss the issue. But it was her son, Daniel, who stole the show.

That’s because the 5-year-old sang the entire first verse and chorus of the popular Lee Greenwood tune on live TV. And it was adorable.

    I’d fire the principal! This is so sick and sad! What is our country coming to??? I‘m sick and tired of this ’political correctness’ crap! And it’s CRAP!!! If some folks don’t like it then please move elsewhere!

      It’s time all parents, like this brave mom, stood up to the school system and took back their schools, the curriculum, and the venue that is currently being used to begin the indoctrination of our children which continues through college. Enough is enough!

    I saw this and was so proud of both the Mom and her darling son.

    Mom, continue to teach him to love and respect the USA.

    We need more black’s and black parents to speak up and stand up for their Country.

    So adorable and it shows you how STUPID that principal is for not allowing the kids to sing a song they obviously spent a long time practicing.. all because SHE didn’t like it? She should be fired for that and more.

    The teacher and principal cannot be credited for being meticulous in their oversight, since the children practiced the song for weeks. I suspect an intentional gambit for press coverage.

    Dang, I looked back and found that this report came out of NY. You mean this Positive side of the report came from a family out of New York? Goes to show you that there is HOPE coming out of yankeeland!

    No, no, no, you can’t let that child be thinking about God and patriotism at that age. They haven’t even had time to complete the early indoctrination process yet. At least wait until they have taught him to hate America and shun the teachings of the Bible.
