This Chart of America’s Per Capita Debt Should Worry You

The Senate Budget Committee Republican staff under Ranking Member Jeff Sessions (R-AL) released this alarming graph Thursday morning:
Well, as the graph clearly indicates, America’s per capita government debt is worse than that of Portugal, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Greece (PIIGS), and France.
Get that? America’s per capita debt is worse than the PIIGS! You know, the countries primarily responsible for pulling the eurozone into financial catastrophe?
And it gets worse. As the Budget Committee notes, under the president’s plan, gross federal debt will reach $75,000 per capita by 2022.
Big deal. How important is this anyway?
Considering that per capita debt is a means of gauging the likelihood of a country’s ability to repay its debts, that is, it helps determine whether a country’s government bonds are at risk of default, we‘d say that it’s a pretty big deal.

Republican or Democrat, none of them care! They all feel that they are elected to spend the money – not all of it, but thirty to fifty percent more than ALL OF IT!
Every member of Congress should be voted out of office whenever their next term ends. Everyone of them. It’s a simple fact. They spend fortunes to get elected, so that they get to spend someone else’s money.
Vote them all out and take the pensions and healthcare from all of them. Look what these snakes have done to our country. It is inexcusable to pay these parasites for the rest of their lives. (All members of their staffs should be included.)

So why have we allowed congress to keep allowing themselves to vote for pay increases and health care and pensions and all that crap while the rest of us suffer. Not only is it a conflict of interest that should not be allowed, but IT IS OUR MONEY. We should now allow them to compensate themselves for taking our money professionally.
If you serve in office it should be because you really want to help the country. Take away all the salaries and benefits. The people who run for office are already well set off by themselves so we should not subsidize their lives anymore.

Posted on February 23, 2012 at 4:45pmOuch. When the financial tower of babel comes down, those that are not crushed in fall will only have that which is tangible, either prepared or scrounged. Prepare a lot, or prepare what you can. Even Jesus started with a few loaves and fish. If you haven’t started, look now at your check book, and start building some legs to your stool: some silver coins, some ready to eat and/or canned foods, simple camping gear, and a self defense weapon (handgun/shotgun). To me this is the basic crisis life preserver. Hopefully this can get you to some one who is at a lifeboat level, and then finally to a port of safety. A little crazy won’t embarass you. Please give it a try. God Bless You.

Posted on February 23, 2012 at 4:42pmIs it too late already? I can’t help but feel that we are past the point of no return, without serious measures. It is far past time to build the wall, cut the takers from the dole, and reform the current hand-out procedures. This willl get very interesting.

Posted on February 23, 2012 at 4:54pmIn all honesty I feel the exact same way. My intuition tells me that we are too far gone. We‘ve already driven off the cliff it’s just a matter of time until we crash into the ground.
However we can’t give in yet. We still have to fight and try to save this nation because the consequences if we don’t are going to be so awful. This is the fight of our life and even if we already lost we all need to go do fighting. We will not lose this country peaceful and easily.

Posted on February 23, 2012 at 4:39pmWell, that’s exactly what Obama wants. He wants the US economy to fail miserably. George Soros and the Fabian Society, Communist Party USA, et al have finally gotten their wishes to come true. If we do not elect a GOP nominee for President, we will be Rome in flames
This news is so sad and knowing that my children will not grow up in America, the nation of liberty and freedom.

Posted on February 23, 2012 at 4:36pmYou know. I have two options in my life. One is to stay Swedish and move back to Sweden. However I don’t really feel that is much of an option. I want to stay in the USA and fight to get this country back to where it was supposed to be. A country where the people is dedicated to God and his blessings will again be poured out upon us.

Posted on February 23, 2012 at 4:39pmSorry. If you are trying to make ME feel guilty, you are barking up the wrong forest.
I’m not the one spending credit like the window is going to close any minute. We have 535 people in congress doing that.
Sorry. I’ve complained to my government. To my representatives and my senators. They DO NOT care. Period. And I would be EXCITED to share the letters I’ve gotten from them stating that I mean NOTHING to them. Period. In some cases, even less.
If you want someone to feel remorse for their lustful spending, you need to see the man in the White House at 1600 Pennsylvania in D.C. I can’t help you.
Something tells me, he won’t be sympathetic to your snivel, though.

These talk show hosts and commentators are bought and paid for by the Corporations, Military Industrial complex, and the CEO’s who sign their checks.
The(other) candidate has been demonized by this media, for actually attempting to stop this madness and alerting us about the loss of our freedoms and liberties, and still the public doesn’t figure it out.
