Kirk Cameron Plugs Trailer for New Film Following MonumentalActor and director Kirk Cameron’s “Monumental” documentary provided a lens into America’s moral and social history. Now, following his film’s success, Cameron is already beginning to tease his next project — a currently unnamed documentary that is slated for a March 2013 release.

In a Facebook post on Monday, Cameron encouraged his 267,000+ fans to join a special mailing list so that they can be among the first individuals to learn more about the upcoming project. In his note, Cameron pledged to provide those who sign up for his newsletter with a “super secret” trailer that provides a first look into the feature film. On Monday, he wrote:

This Memorial Day message was preceded by a Saturday post in which Cameron announced the creation of “an online, central base for like-minded people” to share perspective on movies, books, music and ideas.

So far, the trailer hasn’t yet been released — but because the response was apparently so strong, Cameron extended the deadline for people to sign up for the newsletter to Tuesday.

While Cameron is giving few details away about his upcoming project, back in March he touched upon it briefly during an exclusive interview with The Blaze. The actor-turned-director said that the new feature film will dig even deeper than “Monumental,” going back to the Roman Empire to discover the nation’s more far-reaching historical roots.

    I just can’t believe he extended the deadline to sign up for his newsletter, now I can see his “super duper secret” trailer!!!! I actually respect him for standing up for his beliefs, but on the other hand everything he does is tied to making money like the rest of the TBN crowd. He also comes off as wimpy, when Pierce Morgan asked him if homosexuality is a sin, instead of saying yes, he stuttered and stammered in his soprano voice.

      So the praise from religious adherents is the same (in your opinion). Now look at what is being praised.
      In Cameron’s case he is praised for being bold and honest about his world view and what would make this country great once again.
      In the Muslim’s case it is killing as many people as you can for the “struggle” and taking Islam’s only garanteed path to paradise- martydom.
      If you think that these two examples are similar because of what select groups say about them, rather than dissimilar because their actions are drastically different you really do live up to your name (the nucklehead part).

    Kirk is really a neat guy. Even when criticized for speaking the truth by “friends” he has worked with in the past, he responds positively, wishing only the best for others. I think that will make him a target for the enemies of the Almighty, so be prepared to hear all about it if he slips up (as we all do eventually). Pray for him.

    I admire K.Cameron for not taking the easy route in Hollywood and falling in line with everyone else doing and saying the same things over and over. He could have easily just “gone with the flow” but he had the courage to stand up and preach the Word in his own unique way. I’ve heard Monumental is sensational (see trailer link below). Kudos to him, he’s a great guy and deserves the success. Oh, and I totally had a crush on his wife as a kid (of course now that she’s married to him thou shalt not Covet) Maybe she has a little sister (lol)

      The Way Of The Master goes under the assumption that THEY are right about “god” or “the afterlife”. . . . then they draw upon people’s fear of “possibly spending an eternity in hell” in order for them to potentially “get saved”. They also use what consists of “you‘re an appauling creature in god’s eyes”, which is just their way of putting people down.

      And if “telling one lie” makes that person “a liar”, what if they tell the truth 99% of the time? Logically, that would make them “a truth teller”. Same for any of the other “snakeoil salesman” techniques they use.

      What I know to be factual is. . . nothing of value comes from “believing something by faith”. MANY religions/faith relationships can say the same about their way of spiritual life. The radical Jihadist “believes by faith”. So even IF I stood there in front of Kirk or Ray, nothing they say would be compelling. It would just be their own opinion on a topic that has thousands of opinions. Even if it were all true and points could be proven, it isn’t in my makeup to “have a relationship with someone who is never actually there”.

      As for “to god’s standards”, why does he insist “perfection” upon us when he isn’t even? You can prove the biblical god isn’t by just LOOKING for it. I found it on my own, so can you.
