‘This Is Not a Legitimate Birth Certificate’: Sheriff Joe Arpaio Claims He Proved Obama’s Birth Certificate False

Sheriff Joe Arpaio appeared on the Mike Broomhead show today to discuss the results of an investigation he had conducted into President Obama’s alleged birth certificate, including a trip to Hawaii to try to gain access to the documents.
Characteristically, Arpaio did not hedge his statements with any qualifiers, stating unequivocally that the document released to the public was a fraud, and that “anybody [who's] an adult can get a birth certificate” in Hawaii, presuming you live there for a year and pay your taxes and phone bill. Arpaio did call for an investigation into this, at minimum, suggesting that even if President Obama’s birth certificate is left off the table, it should be a relevant question why Hawaii is allegedly issuing birth certificates to anyone who lives there for a year. Arpaio has also issued a press release to this effect.

No matter what happens regarding the Congressional investigation, one has to note that, if the practice Arpaio alleges actually happens, then it also introduces a thorny problem for those who argue that the President’s birthplace is not a settled issue. Clearly, Obama spent more than a year in Hawaii, and if the government is willing to retroactively issue birth certificates to anyone of whom this is the case, then it is effectively impossible to prove whether the certificate on record for Obama is, in fact, the one that was issued at his birth, since it would be dated and filed retroactively as though it had happened immediately.
Arpaio must have been aware of this problem, because when asked about what he wanted to happen to the President, he replied only, “I’m not telling him what to do, to tell him that he committed a crime. But someone had to be behind this forged document.”
In other words, Arpaio only wants a prosecution of the person responsible for creating the allegedly fraudulent copy of President Obama’s birth certificate, not of the President himself. In either case, however, he is unlikely to get it.

The Certification of Live Birth published on FIGHTTHESMEARS was was edited in Photoshop on June 12, 2008 08:13 using a Macintosh computer with a CS3 operating system and a user name of “ducky”.

On the other hand there is a tradition going back about 60 years for candidates to release their tax returns, including Romney’s dad.

However according to the official definition of “natural born citizen” if a person is born to a US citizen, whether on US soil or not, they are a US citizen. If Barry’s mom was a US citizen and she gave birth to Barry, on US soil or not, he is a US citizen. If your mom (who is a US citizen) is pregnant and your in I dunno Canada visiting parents for Christmas and your mom gives birth to you on Canadian soil, are you Canadian or US? US obviously.

0bama’s attorney in a NJ law suit has already admitted to the court that the birth certificate is fraudulent.
As for the newspaper announcements. When we lived in California in the early ’50s and my younger sister was born, the birth announcement was in the local home newspaper the following day. 0bama was born some time later probably while communications had improved even more. Imagine that?
Also gotta wonder why 0bama the transparent president does so much and spends so much money to keep his background and transcripts hidden. Have to admit that he has released some of his tax returns. They must not be as controversial as his other records. Our political system is designed around pandering for special interest groups and corporations. If they don‘t pander they don’t get reelected into office, that is just the fact of the matter. Being an elected official to represent your community, county, state etc. is one of the highest honors to have, yet they rarely enter office “representing” anyone except the NAACP, NRA, Unions, CAIR etc.

He doesn’t. The Obama’s SSN has never been issued to anyone other than to Obama. That dead man stuff is a load of crap. As for why it is from Connecticut we can’t be sure. Since SSN is based on mailing address and not residence Its an aberration but does not indicate fraud. A likely explanation is that someone screwed up the address. The zip code for Obama’s home in honolulu was 96814. Danbury Connecticut has the zip code 06814. Someone may have mixed up these numbers when doing Obamas paper work.
