‘This Is not the America we Want’: Santelli & Rep. West Talk Free Markets & Revitalizing the Economy

CNBC’s Rick Santelli, the man commonly credited with starting the Tea Party, on Monday spoke with Rep. Allen West (R-FL), a Tea Party favorite, about revitalizing the U.S. economy.
“The CME Group and myself, and CNBC welcome you,” said Santelli.
“Well, it’s an honor to be here with the CME group and yourself, Rick. I had to come up from down South because I want to try to open up a Chick-fil-A franchise here in Chicago,” Rep. West said referring to Chicago alderman Proco “Joe” Moreno’s vow to block the chicken chain from opening a new eatery in his ward.
“That is a big controversy in the city,” said Santelli, “and forgetting the issue of what your thoughts are, for example, on gay marriage, doesn’t it strike you as a little bit odd that the — the necessary situation to open up a business in Chicago would pry into the beliefs and mores of the owners?”
“It does and when you understand the other side, the liberal side, because free speech is only free if you agree with what they say and what they believe. That is really the problem that you have right now with the Federal government, being invasive and intrusive nature,” Rep. West responded.
“[T]hey’re trying to dictate where a private sector organization can relocate and establish itself. [It] goes back to the exact same thing you saw with Boeing,” he added.
Rep. West is, of course, referring to the NLRB’s attempt to prevent Boeing from opening an aircraft-production line at a non-union plant in South Carolina. Although the NLRB eventually dropped its case against Boeing, many saw the supposedly non-partisan fed group’s attempt at blocking Boeing on behalf of unionized labor as extraordinarily partisan.
“That’s not the America that this great institution here is trying to promote — free market and private sector,” Rep. West added.

I bet he falls in line when told to and supports the same monetary policies of Obama and Romney. He had no gripe with NDAA and other civil liberties issues so I doubt his monetary “principals” really mean that much to him. Posted on July 30, 2012 at 6:43pmNah, he’s right. Based on a post I seen earlier, I went through all the GOP voting records cross referencing which congressmen for the GOP helped grow the police state. Here’s a list of the GOP that have NOT voted for the police state. Note the lack of the 2010 Tea Partiers like West. This is minus votes on HR347. Yeah, I know I was a Paul supporter, (I know he’s not going to win anything) but it is what it is and honest work. Double check it if you don’t believe me. We have to shine the light on the GOP progs.
GOP that have a clean record on the police state:
Justin Amash, MI
Timothy Johnson, IL
Tom McClintock CA
GOP that have a mistake or two on the police state:
Walter Beaman Jones Jr., NC (drones)
Scott Tipton, CO (cyber security)
Raul Labrador, ID (cyber security)
Jeffrey Duncan, SC (cyber security)
H. Morgan Griffith, VA (cyber security, drones)
All the rest of them need fired!

It‘s not a matter of who voted for what and who didn’t vote for it. We’re at a point where we have somebody in the white house who wants to destroy this country and has as much as said so. Besides the things he has done to take us in that (downward) direction. 0bama himself has said his plan is about 70% completed.
Neither Romney or West is out to purposely do that and there is no comparison between 0bama and Romney or West. Romney is a moderate. I would prefer a real conservative but if we don’t get 0bama stopped right away, we’re not going to have another chance. It’s that simple.
We can go around with a sore ass because our favorite candidate didn’t win the nomination or we can do everything in our power to save our country.

The Alinskyite smearing really separates the men from the boys, so to speak. After a few unsuccessful rounds with Winston Smith, many choose to throw beer cups at me from the seats, instead of ENGAGING ME in the ring. I said many time, AT LEAST democrats will fight! They will use logic, history… and it’s rarely personal. I have even CONVERTED A FEW to the Liberty Movement, once they understand I am a Constitutional Libertarian Tea Partier and NOT a republican. But on the GOP “side” of things, it’s NOTHING BUT, “tinfoil hat” “liberal plant” “momma’s basement“ ”unemployed“ ”dirty, OWSer”… and I’m noticing in higher frequency… a potential “danger,” as our apprehensive, beer cup throwing little friend is attempting.
