This Is the Trailer for the Full-Length Occupy Movie

Documentary Filmmakers Trying to Reach $17,500 Goal for Full Length Occupy Movie by Mid January

From the moment the Occupy Wall Street movement began in September, documentary filmmakers were armed with cameras and now they‘re hoping to make the footage they’ve collected into a full-length feature film.

Here’s the trailer for the “99% — The Occupy Wall Street Collaborative Film“:

Wired reports that producers Audrey Ewell and Aaron Aites are seeking to raise $17,500 to move the film forward. These funds would be used to purchase hard drive storage and other materials needed to edit, sort the footage and create a promo reel, according to the film’s Kickstarter page. From there it would need more money to complete the film.

To build up some of these funds to make a “compelling, cohesive and honest film”, Wired reports that they will be showing an online screening Jan. 7 of some footage for  $3.99.

According to the film’s website, more than $8,000 has been raised with 15 days left to reach their goal. If the goal is not reached by Jan. 13, 2012, the project will not be funded.

In a Q&A on the film’s website about what the film, the producers answer the question “Is this propaganda?“ The response is ”No“ and that the footage will be ”representing many ideologies and opinions”.

      Good luck trying to sell it , I didn’t even watch the trailer. I just assumed it was the same crap I got tired of watching and started ignoring a few weeks into the so call “movement”(bowel). If I wanted to watch cry babies I’d go hang out at a nursery.

      The number of protestors who honestly understand how wealth/jobs are created, sustained and advanced are only the dillusional or corrupt leaders who organize this BS. They either feel guilty about their wealth or they’re communist criminals, but they know how the world works. The crowds are idealistic lemmings with their brains filled with lies. With public education the way it is, I think it can only get worse.

      I’d rather have a ROOT-CANAL than watch a 2 hour movie celebrating this idiocy. The trailer is hard enough to watch, and I hopped and skipped through that. OWS just irritates EVERYBODY ELSE. This film will NEVER FIND AN AUDIENCE! Question is, why doesn’t George Sorrows (sic) give them the $ to finish it? He’s the only audience member that would want to watch it.

      Probable that 10% of the entire OWS movement are comprised of “film students” “writers” and “guys with cameras”. So yep, they’ll have enough for a mini-series.

      Will the film include:

      1. protestors defecating in the streets?
      2. protestors defecating on police cars?
      3. raping each other?
      4. OWS “leadership” telling victims not to report crimes to authorities?
      5. throwing paint, bricks, and rocks at police?
      6. protestors calling for a communist revolution in America?

      I refuse to watch the trailer either. I already saw how the Occupoopers celebrated Christmas.

      At least we can be thankful (presumably) that the movie won’t be released in Smell-o-vision!

      I like how they quote it is going to be an “honest” film ….yet they edited it to show only the protester’s version. Of course leaving out all the union, anarchist, athiestical, socialist and every other anti-american aspect of the “movement”. You know…about 99% of the whole OWS situation….they should really call it….”99%…We left that percentage out of the film and edited to try to brainwash you.”

    I would ask the film makers to be honest and put up a stats on:
    How many RAPES. And how many rapes were handle internal by OWS. And how many rapers where caught and arrested by real police, and how many rapes where the raper was never caught.
    Then follow up on the woman who were raped. And follow up on the internal handling of the rapes, and see who got away with it, who knows you may end up getting a raper put in jain, and that would be good.
    Then do the same with DEATHS at OWS.
    People getting their things stolen at OWNS.
    DRUG OVER DOSE at OWS..
    And the stats on what groups and in how much the paid in money and goods to put on and keep going the OWS. And if any of these were front groups, the people and groups behind the front groups, like lets say SOROS, UNIONS, the NAZI’s, The white house, black militate groups, left groups, right groups, anyone, middle east groups and goverments, anyone, come on open minded film makers, lets have no one off limits and some 100% honest reporting no matter where it leads.

    Actually, I am stunned that the elite left has not backed a truck full of gear up to assist in the making of this film. Not much is needed to do it. (we do video production) My guess is the film we be used for recruiting and to incite further law breaking in 2012. I will never watch it. Unless I decide to make a film of my own showing the extremely dark side of this so called “movement”. I don’t think that they will show much of the illegal activity and absolute chaos.

    So naturally this film will show the Anti-America hate of the people that were there.. Lots of those.. The racists, wow, KKK and the Black Panthers working togethor plus others,,, don’t forget the anti-semitic signs.. Let’s see, oh, the pro-socialist, communist,, marxist ideoligies they had. The anti-religious people. The foul language and violent threats with the effigies and vandilism. The druggies, the rapists, the people crapping all over the place. The laziness of the people in the majority not cleaning up after themselves. Threats, crimes, criminals, violence, drugs, hate, revoltution threats, racism on n on. I’m sure that will all be in here as that was the majority of what happened. I mean this is going to be an honest movie right? Does that mean every person there was bad. No.. Not every person at a Hitler rally wanted the Jews dead either but I’m pretty sure we all agree that was bad.

      Well, the mechanism is well known and deployed in some form in churchesin form of prayers/liturgy. However, in churches it does convey a meaning.

      In the case of OWS crowd, it is pure droning. No substance conveyed. The whole purpose is to entrance the participants into a collectivist activity and to enable/entrench such a mind set. In other words, brainwashing.
