Just because a shark is out of water, doesn‘t mean it can’t do what sharks do — bite. This guy learned that the hard way while posing with a cute, cuddly mini-jaws.
It‘s ironic that one of the guy’s friends advises, “Don’t get your hand near that mouth,” and then it seems the same friends says moments later, “He’s just a baby.” Famous last words:

Many years ago I was walking the beach and came upon some men fishing. As I approached them one of them got a bite and strated to reel in his catch. He kept yelling “Sand Shark, it’s a Sand Shark”. I then hurried over to see him bring it in. Standing very close to him and his buddies, I made some small talk about it being a Shark while he reeled it in. Finally landed I could see it was about 4 ft long, but to me it was Jaws. From the little I had said to these guys, they could tell that I knew nothing about Sharks. The guy who landed it said loudly something about he had to get the hook out because it was his favorite hook. Then he thrust his hand in the Sharks mouth and proceeded to scream like crazy. Then his buddies started screaming with him which added to the state of panic.
I evidently almost passed out because one of the guys broke out laughing while pointing at me and saying something about being a “sucker”. That’s when I learned that these Sand Sharks have NO teeth!
