Throwing Cold Water on Obama‘s ’Twoosh Master’ Claims

No, it’s not a dirty word.
But “twoosh master” is how the commander in chief recently referred to his Twitter prowess after he managed to type a message using up the micro-blogging site’s entire 140 character allowance. (That’s apparently a “Twitter swoosh,” and no, we hadn’t heard the term before either.)

Now, here‘s President Obama’s supposedly masterful tweet:
As the Atlantic Wire points out, there are a couple of problems with the president’s micro-missive. For one, note the space between “wind” and the comma following it — that’s an extra, wholly unnecessary character. Knock it down to 139.
Not only that, Obama apparently added an extra space after the “-bo” tag, prompting Twitter’s character counter to read zero when there really was one character left. Knock it down to 138.
Finally, New York Magazine adds that “bio fuels” is actually one word. Knock it down to 137. (They also suggest the period at the beginning of the tweet takes up an extra space right from the start; it’s a tough call, but adding that period is a savvy way to ensure the message will show up in all of your followers’ timelines. We’re inclined to let it stand.)
Only 137 characters? Twoosh denied.

It is time for the Feds to downsize and concentrate solely on the powers it is granted in the constitution. The commerce clause needs to be redefined to make it clear and limited in it’s scope. This clause among others has been grossly abused over the decades. This has to stop. The Tax system has to be reformed from top to bottom, simplified. Many avenues used by the Democrats over the years to grap power must be reviewed and closed off. Any reversals in reg/laws must be addressed quickly, fairly. A return to roots in Federal Governance is the only hope for true long term recovery which will lead to prosperity and greater freedom for all.

We have a glut of natural gas that can be compressed to liquid (LNG) and power all the power plants, cars, trucks, trains, you name it. It burns 66% cleaner than gas. We should have used the nearly 1 trillion dollar “stimulus” bill in R & D for LNG engines. And @ ARBITER…THAT IS A GOOFY HAT!!!!!
