Tim Pawlenty Calls Obama ‘Chicken’

Anyone who’s seen “Back to the Future” knows you don’t call someone “chicken” unless you’re ready to rumble.  And, judging by Republican Tim Pawlenty’s appearance on “Fox & Friends” Monday morning, preparations seem to be underway for a presidential showdown in 2012.

The former Minnesota governor criticized President Barack Obama for hiding behind “soaring rhetoric” instead of confronting out-of-control entitlements.  While “most Americans understand we’ve got a problem,“ Pawlenty suggested Obama was a ”chicken” during his State of the Union speech, lacking the political courage to do anything about it:

“As I try to remind people … don’t confuse being nice with being weak,” Pawlenty said. “You can be hopeful and optimistic and strong, but you’ve also got to back it up.”

Some guts Mr. Pawlenty, very admirable. However that is not the proper way to do battle with Obama. You have to do it the Obama – Chicago way.

Have your minions do the mudslinging for your while your minions savage Obama and the liberals you call for civility…that is the Obama way.

Question: When the Pres called for civility did his minions in the Lame Stream Media and Hollywood stopped savaging the conservatives? No!

I agree. There are IRA‘s and 401k’s. They should require a certain percentage deducted from paychecks but into a private account or else some morons won‘t do it then we’d have a bunch of old, homeless people. There are too many people drawing from the current SS and didn’t pay a nickel into it. Private accounts will accrue interest and if something happens to you, the money goes to your heirs. Unlike SS where the gov’t just keeps it all.

    @ Barry

Newt made the statement that Obama could NEVER rise to the office of the President of the United States. You stated many of the reasons why.

I have decided I am not a birther. I am (to coin a new word) an Educationer. I believe the secret to Obama lies in his education. I believe it lies in his transcripts. I would like to see this intellectual’s grades from the Universities he “attended”. Most intellectuals I know seem to show off their education as much as possible. Doctors, lawyers, engineers and the like adorn their offices with their degrees and accomplishments. Our president pays money to keep his hidden. Why? Is he really ignorant? Or maybe how he managed to pay for his education may be brought to the light. Did he receive foreign aide as a foreign student or is he a citizen and falsafied applications? Would someone please get the chicken to lay this egg upon us?

The SCOTUS should remove him from office and nullify everything he has signed. The following link explains all of this very well.

ya very much mis-informed…the fair tax is simply that…AND it abolishes the IRS to boot! Think of the cost savings there alone! It is a tax you pay when you buy stuff, no income tax is a consequence, and you’ll have more to spend every paycheck. All goods costs would go up a bit yes, but everyone pays the same tax, everyone. No loopholes for the rich, no free rides for the poor, everybody pays. And your not sharing your SSN with the gov’t by not filing income taxes. The tax graduates as the luxury increases, now what do you think? It’s a winner…

I’ve long thought this. I kept my silence, since for some people impugning their courage is a call to arms. I certainly don’t want to encourage our President to be any more passionate in his destructive policies than he already is.

The reality, though, is that Pawlenty is right. Obama doesn’t have any balls. He is a grandiose whiner. He is a sit-and-the-table-and-preach-er, but not a doer. He has never been a doer. He has never accomplished any major concrete physical task in his life. What is communist organizing? Shaking down The Man. It’s not building anything. What do lawyers do? Talk. How much even of that has he done? Very little. He was paid to talk at the University of Chicago. He was paid to sit at board meetings. He was paid as an Illinois Senator, and paid royalties for a book he does not seem to have written. He was paid as a United States Senator, and is now paid as President, a position he is entirely unsuited for. When has he ever had a real job? When has he made a payroll? When has any company he worked for generated any sort of widget that could be used by any American?

When has Obama faced any hard task alone, like true leaders do? Yes, he has his arrogance, but that is only the result of his being too stupid to realize how little he knows about the world.

In reality, he is led around by the nose, like a cow, and placed in front of speeches someone else has written. He just has to moo in the right way, and then he is led off by the nose again. They feed him some hay from time to time, to make him feel important.

The office of President of the United State has NEVER been occupied by such a moral and intellectual weakling. Never.

Actually, the bigest ponzi scheme that has been put on the backs of the American taxpayer is the WELFARE SYSTEM.. Working people pay into the Social Security system each and every payday whereas the WELFARE Recipient pays nothing into the system..They just produce a baby every year and get paid for doing so by our tax payers..About 90% of the people on welfare are single women that started having babies in their teens and by so doing assured themselves of an income for as long as they could produce said babies.. It’s my understanding, that they will now be getting FREE CELL PHONES W/140 FREE MINUTES PER MO, as well as their check, foodstamps and free medical care for their family..ALL this at NO COST TO THEM!!! AND the new FCC board wants to GIVE “EVERY NAPPY HEADED” child on WELFARE a computer w/online access..How’s that grab ya guys and gals?? People on Medicare pay a premiun every month for their coverage and also another premium for their Drug coverage PLUS another premium for the insurance that is needed to cover the things that Medicare doesn’t cover. Has any of the politicians mentioned that?? NO and they won’t because they want you kids to think that the old folks are the problem with the system..The powers that be in DC started ROBBING the Social Security Fund years ago and it was BOTH parties that did so to fund their other ponzi schemes..

They should eliminate social security as it currently exists. It is being used as a retirement vehicle and that is not what it was intended for. It is social SECURITY. It was designed as an isurance policy for those in need. Sorry, but just because one wants to retire at 62 doesnt mean you should be able to suck off the teet of government the rest of your life. And I really don’t want to hear “I paid into the system”. Yea, well the average SS recipient gets back all he paid in to the system after 4 yrs of collecting; after that its the people who remain working supporting this silliness. Oh yea, and one other thing WE CANT AFFORD IT ANYMORE.

I’m not saying Pawlenty is the best the GOP can do,however Pawlenty could have a lobotomy and still be more compentent than President WTF.

Obama is a chicken, but I’ve been paying into social security for a long time, and the way this economy going I’m going to need it.

      Cheez and Broker
I commend your restraint and civility in agreeing that Pawlenty should not call Obama a “Fried-chicken-eating, water-melon-slurping, Boones-Farm-swilling, Uncle Tom porch-monkey” .

And it would be equally inappropriate and offensive to call Obama “Chinese orange chicken” because that would insult the Chinese, and the denigrating reference to Orange belongs to those who pick on Boehner.

Fine by me, Get rid of Social Security. I could retire comfortable if I put MY Social Security withholding into MY OWN account that I CONTROLLED. The only reason nothing has been done is the elderly are a big voting block and the Politicians want their votes even if its at the expense of everyone else.

ihv one question.. how do you get rid of something i paid into all my life and now can only depend on this to survive? sure 20 somethings could do better by doing their own thing.. BUT I DIDNT HAVE A CHOICE..now some wants to take it away from me..

WHY?/ i told my children that if they saved the same amt as ss took at the age of 65 they could retire with a better income … and not only that.. when they died the money would go to their children and so forth…

how many have worked all their lives and paid ss and died at the ripe old age of about 61 with no family? how got their money? the govt i assume?

end ss of those starting out.. and better yet end freebies to illegals … most of this is waste of money anyhow ..
      will

@CAPTAINKOOK….I owe you an apology. I only read your first post and was unclear of your stance. I mis-read you as an Obamite. Pawlenty is not The Man to restore America to her Greatness. We don’t know who OUR George Washington is yet.
      President Bolton anyone?
Marco Rubio has more experience now than Obama ever will.
      Colonel Alan West?

@ stifroc, i agree! I have just felt the socialism creeping in for decades now! And we have stood by and let it in and now we can’t seem to shove it back out the door :( Too much involvement by the gov’t and not by the ppl have brought this on. The American ppl have become lazy and are letting big brother think and act for them. The few that are even trying to awaken the rest of us from this twighlight zone have had a tough ongoing battle of the wits. EDUCATE yourself fellow Americans. Find out how this nation works and runs and you will see what the rest of us are pissed about!

Agreed…SS does need to go but, the Government needs to refund every penny to every contributor still alive…no reason to “Give” the Government another penny when they already steal enough from our pockets…give me back everything I paid into the system and yank me from the database…I’ll be happy…

You didn’t understand what Pawlenty said. He said that changes have to be made – not doing away with SS.
