UPDATE: PAC Disables Commenting & Rating On Allen West Attack Ad Depicting Him Beating Women

 

New Allen West Attack Ad Features Him Beating Old and Young Women And Stealing Form Families

It is hard to think of an attack ad lower than the one essentially blaming Mitt Romney for a woman’s death, but we may have just found one.

It’s from Florida, and it depicts Allen West (R-FL) in a boxing ring with red gloves on.  The cartoon-like video then shows West punching an old woman, a young lady and seemingly a family with children.  He also steals cash from the hands of the family and pockets it, all while laughing like a gremlin.

And the audio matches the video. The female announcer says in condescending tone as sound effects play in the background:

“West has socked it to seniors”

“He’s whacked women with his votes”

“He’s mauled middle class families”

The ad is starting to garner attention from critics, including one who thinks there are some racial undertones.  Javier Manjarres, who is following the race closely, notes:

 ”The ad slyly uses a caricature of West and portrays him as a bully who hits women- more specifically, a white women- while he grabs money away from a “middle class” family that just happens to be a black family.”

West called the ad “reprehensible,“ saying it ”shows a lack of regard for the issues plaguing our nation.”

The American Sunrise PAC is responsible for the video.  The group was incidentally founded by the father of Congressman West’s general election opponent, Democrat Patrick Murphy, who has funneled $250,000 into the PAC. 

UPDATE: The group responsible for the West advertisement has disabled all comments and ratings on their video page.  The immense distaste for the ad may have pressured this move.  As Blaze reporter Jason Howerton noted: The video on YouTube currently has more than 12,000 views, with 252 “dislikes” and just 16 “likes.”  The move is ironic since the group responsible for the ad claims to work for “thoughtful”, “more open”, “brighter future” in politics.

      Is this because he doesn’t want taxpayers to pay for birth control and abortions??? If women can’t keep their legs together or use a condom they should pay for their own choices. I’m a woman and think all these attacks against many Republican candidates because we believe in the above are despicible. I’ve heard that the Democrats are now saying (even though it was their women’s rights issue) that abortion was a plan of genocide against the black race. The facts are (according to cencus data) that there are a much higher percentage of white abortions than any other race. Race baiting is evil and should be punished. Accusing West of crimes against women is evil. STOP IT!!!

      Actually, Romney is agreeing with the Obama ad, if only Soptic was in Romney’s Mass his wife would have had health care. Imagine if that system was able to insure all the workers Romney’s Bain put out of work.

      West needs to run an ad in response that shows news clips of welfare lines with those folks saying they are owed the money (remember that story) and people using food stamps to by frozen meals and brand name icecream (next to their beer and cigs). Then say at the end “there is a difference between helping the needy and enabling the lazy, but if you want to reform these programs they accuse you of trying to beat up and kill people. America is smarter than that”. End of ad.

      @ ENCINOM, your argument that “if only Soptic was in Romney’s Mass his wife would have had health care” is misplaced, although I understand your tongue-in-cheek paraphrase of what a Romney aid unfortunately said. The asinine nature of your argument is revealed by the simple fact that Mrs. Soptic was indeed diagnosed–she had access to health care, but it was too late. She was in stage 4. Mr. Soptic very dishonestly implies that Romney caused his wife not to have health insurance (too many holes in that argument top type here). But, if Obamacare stays in place, very soon no one will have health insurance, just a single payer, government run, healthcare system, about as efficient as all the other such systems in the world. This entire debate is a red herring and a concocted lie to make Romney appear evil. Your argument is also misplaced because the thread is about the ridiculous ad about Rep. West. If the Repubs made such an ad about the President, you’d be playing the race card. Snore.

      My question is CAN Americans get smarter? Can the members of the government plantation realize that the Democrats WANT to keep them dependant on welfare? Can they realize that all the Demos want is their votes in order that they may retain their stranglehold over the country? I saw a poll today where a slight majority of women still would vote for Obama, even though his policies are bankrupting the country and keeping many of these same women from finding good jobs. The entire Democratic party along with a few RINOs is about nothing more than dependancy on the government.

      This ad is just another in a string of ads showing the desperation the left is feeling as more and more Americans wake up to the real truth. It is a disgusting display of race baiting using a fine American as the baiter. Col. West has served America honorably, which is more than I can say for the imbeciles who made this ad. I bet the majority of them never served a day for their country.

Where is there ad that shows what they have done for the people of their district?     If you were gone tomorrow, who would you choose?

    Charles Murray in his book “Losing Ground” provides this insightful thought experiment — If you and your spouse were gone tomorrow, what type of family would you select for your soon to be orphan children:

    Family A: married, both work, and are dirt-poor so your children would not have nice clothes and sometimes would go hungry, but they would ensure your children went to school, did their homework, and learned to live independently as they do.

    Family B: married, both don’t work, and receive lots of money from others so your children would have nice clothes, would never go hungry, but Family B would not ensure your children went to school or did their homework and by their example would not teach them to live independently.

    If you chose Family A, then WHY would you doom any other child to Family B — a Welfare Ward? Why would you continue to support the current welfare system you would not wish for your own children? Does someone else’s child deserve less than what you think is best for YOUR child?

    If you chose Family B, then WHY are you surprised that the number of people on food stamps is increasing and WHY there is generational dependency induced by the very programs intended to “resolve” them?

    Read Charles Murray’s book Losing Ground for DATA starting in 1965 on how the GREAT Society programs have harmed more than helped its intended victims.

      He spins a sad tale from 1986 when he was a desk clerk at a hotel where the “Bain Boys” were staying (he swears it’s tue..natch) and the ungrateful “rich boys” didn’t shower the expectant WANGO with love and kisses for his doing his job.
