Top 10 Comments About Glenn’s Big Announcement/Event in Israel

When Glenn teased a big announcement at the top of yesterday’s radio show, Blaze readers sounded off with their theories. When he announced that it was an event in Jerusalem, the readers let him know what they thought. The combination of both produced a litany of funny, serious, and downright wacky comments. Consequently, we couldn’t let those comments go by unnoticed. Below we‘ve compiled a top ten list of comments surrounding yesterday’s announcement. Did you make the list?

Glenn – You are an arrow hitting the bullseye. Be strong and continue to seek God with all your heart and being. He will increase in you the tenacious courage, favor and grace that are required for the days ahead. Let Him be your borders and your boundaries. The world is going through an epoch transition. You see and understand much of what is going on. Get ready…The eyes of your understanding are about to be see broader and deeper than you have ever dreamed possible.

You, your family and staff are among the top priorities of my prayer list. I‘m praying that God will quicken even more intercessors to provide daily covering for you and those asssociated with you as you progress toward the fullness of the destiny of God’s will for your life in Jesus Name. (Become familiar with Job 22:28)

Wooo-Whooo! As darkness increases, so much more will the glory of the knowledge of the Lord fill the earth.

People get hour necks out of the Ostrich hole! Israel is key to our futures! We have lost the blessing of God because we have turned our backs on her! Wake up and see the signs all around you of what is happening not only in America but in the world. Countries like the US and Israel are the only thing holding “evil” back from taking over the entire world. They are after Israel now and the US will be next! Get your head out of the sand!

and just how will GB or anyone else from the US going to Israel help it or show we’re pullling our heads out of the sand? Totally irrelevant to Israel’s peace- which isn’t going to happen, anyway.

That isn’t even biblical! God doesn’t turn His back on a Nation because they are no longer politically motivated to back Israel. God throughout the Old Testament punished Israel for turning away from HIM. If He turns His back on the US it is because we refused to turn to Him, not Israel.

Don’t get me wrong, I support Israel’s right to be a nation and as a Christian I want to see Israel turn back to God but dont think for a moment that God expects the citizens of the world to travel there and have a show of support like a lame political protest. God’s way of showing support is prayer.

Today Glenn Beck said something on his radio show that for the first time made me think that his intentions are not focused on God’s agenda but his own.

He said: “Talk to those who get it” and I am paraphrasing the rest of the statement- “forget the others”. Really? Only talk to those who agree with you Glenn and those who are firmly and devoutly dedicated in thier walk with Jesus Christ and serving God but who disagree with you on this trip…forget them? Don’t talk to them? Really man? Wow.

You got some splainin to do.

If you know anything about the Bible, Israel (God’s chosen) is the epicenter of all things. Glenn is right, we MUST stand with Israel and send a message to the world that we aren’t going to let it go down without a fight, Just read the current headlines. If you don’t believe that Israel is already under attack you are simply in denial. The U.S. is directly tied to Israel, as are Christians, remember we are the “great satan”. It will be just a matter of time before it’s on our doorstep (this may already be happening on the Mexican border). Go ahead and laugh and make cheap shots. They laughed when Noah was building the Ark too but it wasn’t so funny when the were inhaling water.

Whether people want to believe it or not but the fate of the entire world rests on what happens in Israel, NO nation will stand up and survive if they do not support Israel. God is giving all the nations the chance to “save” themselves by backing Israel. If we do not support Israel then that is the same as cursing them and thereby God will curse us. Glenn you are doing what needs to be done more than anything for no matter what happens to this nation God WILL bless us who also support you as you support Israel. God will bless you beyond understanding!

This is truly all about the battle between good and evil and God requires us to take a stand and actually DO what He’s asking us to DO. I believe that it‘s God who’s put it in Glenn’s heart to go and stand up for Israel in August. I pray that everyone will choose to stand for Israel in their own way. If you can go to Israel and that’s what God is leading you to do, then go. If you can’t, there’s lots of ways to STAND UP for the right. Don’t judge others, JUST DO whatever God is telling you to do.

I have listen to Glenn for a few years now and this does not surprise me at all. I also support Israel but I will have to do it here where I live because I don’t have the money to travel that far. I believe Glenn is right if Israel falls we will not be long behind but I feel we will fall long before Israel because we have voted time and time again for this progressive agenda and stopping this country from hitting bottom after it has left the cliff’s edge is impossible and guess what folks I believe we have already stepped over the edge. These MORONS in power now think all that is going on is the middle east is just great and that Israel is the problem…Israel is the only area in the middle east that is prospering and has freedom. But of course THAT IS THE PROBLEM. You see we all have to be equal in the progressive’s eye to do that it would be impossible to bring up the rest of the world to our level so they have to bring us DOWN to the rest of the world’s level. Either way we need to realize that a sh8 storm is coming and it will not only affect Israel but America as well and if you are not ready well all I can say you better get ready fast because it is just around the corner.

In regards to Ghee99′s comments, doesn’t he know that wearing a yarmulke in Israel is a sign of respect? It has nothing to do with conversion. Also, “not like it’s any worse than being a Mormon.” I am flabbergasted by how many people say the same things about Mormonism as they do Judaism. Lack of education and research? Lack of acceptance? I don’t know about the rest of you, but I feel like some people are just missing the point. I know Jewish people and people of the LDS faith and they are GOOD PEOPLE!!!!! They have been persecuted, pushed out, killed in masses and yet people still don’t get it. It is a total sign of ignorance when you don‘t see the damage you’re doing by not joining others over shared values. We need to be kind, loving, steadfast and educate ourselves about the faiths of others. Judaism and Mormonism teach love, strength of the family, love and respect of God. So, what do these people have a problem with? I don’t get it.

    Communism; DEAD!

    Radical Islam: DEAD!

    Illegal Aliens: DEAD!

    Corrupt Politicians: DEAD!

Commie Union Leaders: DEAD! etc, etc.

We can’t vote these things away, Glenn. They are ideologies and they are here to stay. We have to face facts. The only way to deal with them is the same way they would deal with us. They must be destroyed!

    Lots of people ask ‘why’.
This will become clearer over the course of this next year.
The Islamist and Leftists want to destroy Israel but not just Israel. They want to destroy the Jews.
Don’t be fooled folks. The Jews are just the canary in the mine.
The want to destroy the US too.
The next year will see Obama & the UN probably unilaterally give statehood to Palestine and try to force Israel back to 1947 borders. This is just the start.
You saw the ‘open borders’ leftist-islamist push over the weekend.
They want to give the terrorists Palestine statehood before the Egypt elects the Muslim Brotherhood to power.
The waters look calm now but in the next year…

      Pat:

You’re the only one so far here who sort of sees what this is about.

The Palestinian authority intends to proclaim a State of Palestine in September.

They will claim, and most of the world will support them in claiming, that Palestine includes all of the West Bank and Gaza, in other words, that Israel should return to its 1967 borders.

Israel will not recognize an independent Palestine on such terms, because it would mean giving up part of Jerusalem, and either repatriating West Bank settlers or accepting that they should become second-class citizens of Palestine, rather as Israeli Arabs are second-class citizens of Israel.

It will be interesting to see what the US will do, since the Obama administration is clearly more sympathetic to Palestine, and less to Israel, than the US has hitherto been.

You might note that the border incursions and demonstrations this week happened mostly along Israel’s frontiers with Lebanon, Syria and Gaza, not the West Bank where the Palestinian Authority is centered.

So, yes, September will be important, but it will not be all out war, still less Armageddon.

. When you asked us to come to Israel and I was not immediately struck by a passion to go, I began to think, “God is not telling me to go, I will not be able to go, I cannot afford it, I cannot get any more time off of work. I work 12 hour shifts on Friday, Saturday and Sunday as an RN. Then you said, it will be in the middle of the week. One week ago, I wrote an email to John Hagee writing that my father was turning 80 and had always wanted to go to Israel. I was asking him for a signed picture of Hagee in Israel I was thinking that a picture of Hagee in Israel might be as close as he will ever come to Israel. I think I will just let God lead the way.

Anyone who would like to go and has the money, can send me the money, and I WILL go. I would be honored to demonstrate my support to our Lord, no matter what the cost! I know where I am going if the situation gets really bad. I hope that all who read these remarks knows where they will go. Perhaps making sure you have done what God wants from you in Romans 10:9-13 would be a good idea. Again, if there is any way someone could send me the money, please try to get my attention. I will gladly go for you! God Bless the United States and those who also love Israel.

If you weren‘t raised with the knowledge of what is coming and you don’t really believe it, you cannot understand the value or importance of Israel. The whole world is going to pivot around that tiny nation God calls his chosen people’s home. It will be the showdown of good and evil, satan‘s forces against Christ’s. By publicly standing for Israel , it is the wake up call to the world-pick which side you will take, but be carefull , in the last days will come one who fools a lot of good people. I stand for our country-returned to it’s values, and I proudly stand here, there, and anywhere for Israel.

Glenn hasn’t changed his message or his religion. He simply is repeating his position that we are all in this together and “there but for the grace of G-D go I” trully applies when considering the fate of Israel and Jews all over the world. Never Again is more than a slogan over the entrance to the Hollocaust Museum. It was/is a commitment by all men and women who recognize that evil exists and that no action is action when it comes to confronting it. Israel is the canary in the coal mine and the shared fate of the world will be determined by not only your/our actions in August but with your comments on this forum. G-d is watching and reading along with the rest of us to see if we got his message. I can only pray that we have — along with Glenn in Israel this August!

I also know what it‘s like to feel the fire of God’s presence. When I turned my will over to the care of God, it was an unbreakable oath, of which I’ve failed many times. There are certain times in one’s life that you KNOW what you know, and go forward with courage and conviction, having no doubts that you are doing God’s will for you. This is one of those rare times. I agree, or maybe even take it one step further. For the people that can’t afford to go to Israel, maybe go to Washington – Lincoln Memorial, at the same time, to show our politician leaders that we stand for Israel and all Christians and in general, all peace-seeking people around the world – to encourage our Government to acknowledge what is happening in Israel and the middle east and OUR OWN BORDERS and to speak out against it. Israel are our allies and we, as a nation, need to voice this and let the world know we stand with them. We as well should be standing with our own. Arizona and Texas have been asking for help – people there on the borders are being killed – Arizona borders are the 2nd leading place where woman and children are being sold for slaves – that’s scary. Don’t we as Americans stand with all peaceful nations / peaceful people. Isn’t that what America is about. Just ask yourself – if you were being bullied – wouldn’t it be nice if your neighbor spoke up for you. Peace – is the keyword

Stand in Israel for….? What will be the result? What will happen as a result of this trip? Will the Palestinians change their minds about Israel? Will Iran say, never mind, those Jews are OK with us? Will the forces of evil in this world cease in their attempts to wipe Israel off the map? I don’t think so.
You are doing this for YOU, for the experience to be part of what you think will be history (it will not unless you get slaughtered). Stephen you are correct in that God doesn’t “need” any of us to do anything for Him.

Not sure what that has to do with the price of potatoes in Idaho, though. It isn’t about God, it IS ABOUT US, and how WE CHOOSE TO STAND FOR HIM AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS.

This is OUR CHOICE. Either we ACT to show our support for God or we do not.

Those of us who can’t afford to go to Israel can still donate $$ to help someone else get there, or promote and gather someplace to rally (I like the White House and DC idea because it is so visible) and for those in other countries to go to their capital cities also.

As the video from Cornerstone in another Blaze story shows so aptly, we REALLY ARE ENTERING A POINT OF NO RETURN…

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].

Ephesians 6:19-20 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

Yes, all around us evil is darkening the world. What is important to God is WHAT WE DO ABOUT IT.

Rev 22:20 b Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

“It isn’t about God, it IS ABOUT US,”

That pretty much shows me how backwards this whole quest is. It appears that you are not really sure how the relationship with God works with those he chooses. Read Romans 12: 1-2 and you may have a deeper understanding of what we are called to do. Present yourself as a living sacrifice. This doesn’t men put yourself in physical danger and call it courage. Do not conform to the ways of the world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. This means allow the Holy Spirit to change you from the inside out so that you will be more like Him and less like the person who died to Christ when you received him. THEN you will kow his good and perfect will.

God isn’t calling Americans to travel to Israel and …I still don’t know what you hope to achieve. You say you want to stand for God and show your faith in God then do as he calls you to do. John 14:23 Jesus answered and said to him, ” If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him.

It doesn’t say anything about travel to Israel to show your support it says He will come to you. You are deluding yourself.

      I agree.
Too often people in this country confuse talking and listening to others talk, with actually doing something. 8/28 was a feel good moment. People came and people went with maybe their hearts changed for a season. This rally could be the spark that brings attention to Israel’s problems but it also could start a war. Israel’s enemies are always looking for reason to throw a rock!

Yeah I think in this country we can still rally peacefully. I thought 8/28 was great too and good for us. Over there though, it’s a different story. They are in a state of war. It may seem protected when you walk through the streets, but that is because of the dedication of their forces; they’re amazing, and they have to fight everyday to keep one day of peace. I’m in the same boat as you. Hezbolah will make any excuse to pick a fight. Question is, is Israel ready?

If the “Courage” rally does nothing else, at least it will get some unbiased media coverage out of the area. Since Hitler and Arabs were partners in philosophy during WWII, when the Third Reich fell apart, all the propaganda gurus fled to the middle east. They have been grinding out the same biased information to gullible western journalist for years……ie, the number of people in our own country who think Israel oppresses Palestinian people. Most of the coverage we get from our media is just a dog and pony show concocted by the students of Hitler’s propaganda machine.

I would like to believe so Venn, it would be nice to have that kind of coverage but…I just think they’re so passed the propaganda war, it’s all fundamentals, there‘s no changing anyone’s mind over there, and I think Israel knows that better than anyone. For here, if they media can distort the 8/28 as much as they did in our own backyard, over there is not going to be much different.

I think I made a difference. I support my neighbors directly, I don’t just throw money at them. If Glen wants to go FINE. But answer the question. WHY? What will it accomplish? Israel’s enemy is ruthless, and laugh their butts off when we just stand around talking. If people want to do something start with College Campuses. They are infested with anti-Israel propaganda. Next make sure we get someone in office that will directly protect Israel militarily when their enemies strike. Other than that, yes if God floats down in front of all of you in August and makes a miracle, sure I’ll eat my hat. But hey, what does Israel think of this? Are they going to have to pay for us being there in August?

Yes they asked legitimate questions about all the problems we have here. That is the whole point. IT STARTS WITH GOD, LIKE OUR COMMANDMENTS! If we turn away from God, we turn away from our people, to which we have done. I’m wondering who was listening, how much do you NOT REALIZE OUR LAWS WERE WRITTEN ON THE BIBLE! There is an evil force that wishes to stamp that out. I will not allow it if it’s within my power. Many many more sacrificed so much more than I will to get here, to stand and be counted for goodness, love, compassion of fellow man. This is not what the other side who despises Israel stands for and there’s alot of them. I want my gradchildrens children to be free.

You have to start asking yourselves…What is GB’s mental problem? What is so bad in his life? What about his family and career is so bad?

      Because the BIG questions are…

Why does he WANT the end of the world to come about now? Why does he NEED it to come about now? Why does he almost salivate with GLEE behind his mask of woe/concern/dispair at the prospects of everything coming to an end?

Though course and vulgar, Madcow is right…the last thing Israel needs right now is GB landing with his disciples for another attention whore photo op.

A religious/spirtual awakening is a deeply PERSONAL thing to be shared with your friends and family. What he us showing us is with his grandstanding on the worlds soapbox, is HUGE self esteem issues and an overwhelming need for attention. That or such a lack of principles and morality that he comes to us in sheeps clothing with a bible in one hand and a collection plate in the other…all the while believing nothing that he himself says. but delighting in the cash flow from those he has suckered into his web.

Odd – I just got through reading about a teen (Aldo) in So. Africa who was in a car accident years ago, has since been mostly miraculously healed and says he sees/hears Jesus/angels & writes notes to his mom about it…bc of this, his parents have an active Christian ministry. Excerpt:
“He says that your dew-love helps me a lot Mom, and that I should pray and pray and pray for the people that He tells me to pray for. Wisdom (Jesus) says: “He, the new Aldo, is a part of the generation of Joel 2.”**
The world sees ISRAEL as the enemy. We must PRAY FOR ISRAEL. Wisdom says that He protects Israel. His heart is full of dew-love.. and He is Israel’s protection. In 2011 the hearts full of pride will be brought through the fire, because God wants to purify us. He wants to destroy our own plans.”

COURAGE — You can follow blindly while working in Glenn’s office, but with tens of thousands of people dying on our southern boarder, and the country is burning down around us while our Constitution is being shredded by the “regime”, this is not the time to spend $5million on a trip to the Middle East.

When your house is burning down, you don‘t run to the neighbor’s house to help with an overflowing toilet.

You want to spend $5million here to save us from the war on our boarder, I’m in, and so will be all the others waiting for an American cause.

Why can’t Glenn choose a place here in the United States, designate it as little Israel, and those who cannot go to Israel in August, meet there to support Israel???? HELLO, GLENN. You need to include everyone, not a select few. I suggest that those who support Israel, do so in front of the WH the very same day they are meeting in Israel (Glenn Beck and Hagee) in August. Have it on FoxNews LIVE. I would go as I did last year. Not all of us can afford to go to Israel, but I do believe you will get more people to support Israel HERE IN THE UNITED STATES if you have an event to do so HERE IN THE UNITED STATES. I love Israel and support them financially and verbally, but I do take issue with what Glenn is doing and I believe HE NEEDS TO EXTEND THAT TO THOSE WHO CANNOT GO TO ISRAEL. Any comments?

Glenn is going to Israel for the same reason that Paul set up a Church in Rome. 2,000 years ago all roads led to Rome and so from Rome you, and your massage, could get anywhere and everywhere.

Today, the Muslim Extremist views that predate even Yasser Arafat all originate from and through Israel. As long as the extremists believe that the destruction of Israel is possible, terrorism will continue. Unfortunately, the “true believers” in the Arafat/Bin Laden Terrorist mindset do not understand or care about logic. Their beliefs are based on religious fervor. Reality, especially in Islam, does not matter because to these “True believers” Allah can turn even gravity upside down. Science is irrelevant because the Laws of Nature can be changed at the whims of their God.

If America is “One Nation Under God” the fountainhead that feeds us springs from Israel. I believe that this is why Glenn is being called to Israel.

God tells us to pray for the peace of Jerualem, and the Jews are God’s chosen people to bring His word to the world, their problems come from them not following His will, and the same applies to us.

WSGAC said that Glenn is one of the two witnesses who is supposed to be a witness in Jerusalem in the last days. Except for one of three things is wrong: the two witnesses are witnessing the beast and the false prophet, and also in the last days are the days when Gog and Magog are getting manipulated by the Dragon into battle, and that is the last days. The City is the Holy City, and may or may not be Jerusalem, and yet it is Jerusalem’s new name, and the Newer Jerusalem is the Holy City: The United States of America. And the other thing wrong is: where does it say the witnesses name is Glenn Beck?

The Holy City is the City of the “Flags” and that isn’t in Israel.

The Two Witnesses are not people per se; the two witnesses are: The Law and The Prophets.

What are you talking about??? IF the two witnesses are: The Law and The Prophets. How do you explain away Rev. 11: 3-12 especially verse 8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street…….???? And 9 …and they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their DEAD BODIES three days and an half, and shall not suffer their DEAD BODIES to be put in graves. ???

And NO, one of the Witnesses will NOT be Glenn Beck!

I can honestly say that really have no interest whatsoever in what GB has to say this evening.. I’ve watched his show religiously for the past three years.. Setting aside house duties and putting off the trip to the gym until 6 but no more.. I could care less what the blathering fool has to say.. I’ve lost all hope and confidence in him as a result of this political and partisan stand for Israel especially in light of the myriad of problems which the American people are facing on the home front!

Now GB and the Neo-Cons want us involved in yet one more War for the Jews… I’m sick of their Wars!! Leave America out of the politics of the Middle East Glenn Beck!!!

Was Beck excommunicated from the LDS Church? You’d think that a “good Mormon” wanting to hold a rally in the Holy/Promised Land, would be gathering his students in Salt Lake City, aka, the Mormon Jerusalem.

Just showes you total igrorance of the LDS faith. You should do a little homework before spouting out such idiotic statements of a religion you know nothing about. I would love to explain our religion but i believe you have no desire to listen or to learn. Its much easier to comment and chastise what you dont know.

You watch and do nothing as a gang torments and threatens to kill an innocent. The world watches and does nothing as Hitler invades Poland and kills millions of Jews. You watch and do nothing as the Muslim Brotherhood plans annihilation of Israel and establishment of a caliphate to rule the world.
America and the world watching or helping the destruction of Israel. This should not be.

Apparently, nobody in the top 10 understands the correct spelling of the word “border.“ Perhaps they are from across the ”border” themselves? Just a thought………..
