The U.S. Marine Corps has launched a new ad titled Toward the Sounds of Chaos, in which the few and the proud barrel full-steam ahead toward silencing “tyranny, injustice, and despair.”
“Where chaos looms, the few emerge. Marines move toward the sounds of tyranny, injustice and despair — with the courage and resolve to silence them. By ending conflict, instilling order and helping those who can’t help themselves, Marines face down the threats of our time.”

I have taken the training at Little Creek myself and once you disembark one of those Amtracks it returns to it’s assigned ship for the next load of troops. The troops do not march forward behind these things. That being said, God bless the United States Marine Corps and please help them for what they do for this country.

Now Days, the government has made it VERY nice for a family- the standard of living is VERY high (despite what you may think). I live in a military town and believe me, no one is suffering. I am concerned by this because I fear loyalties will be with the government if it hits the fan. I just can’t see most of these people “defending the Constitution” over their lifestyle.

2. Provide detachments and organizations for service on armed vessels of the Navy and security detachments for the protection of naval property at naval Stations and bases.
3. Develop, in coordination with the Army, Navy, and Air Force, the doctrine, tactics, techniques, and equipment employed by landing forces in amphibious operations.
4. Provide Marine forces for airborne operations, in coordination with the Army, Navy, and Air Force, according to the doctrine established by the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
5. Develop, in coordination with the Army, Navy, and Air Force, the doctrine, procedures, and equipment for airborne operations.
6. Expand peacetime components to meet wartime needs according to the joint mobilization plans.
7. Perform such other duties as the President may direct.
2) Apparently you didn’t watch the commercial. I saw plenty of different Marines. But being a Marine, the only color of Marines I saw was green.

Then I found out that that if you are not a cop, fireman (for god’s sake) or military, you will be relagated to 2nd class membership-not a REAL member, just a toady that gives them money. “You don’t have the training ! ” PFFT. But, I will back them up whether they respect me or not. We’ll see who has “the training”.

The Marine Corps exists for no other reason than to destroy the enemies of this nation. It’s not the friggen Peace Corps, so stop trying to turn it into that.

I have been working out getting back into fighting trim again, and I DO remember and WILL honor the oath I took to defend against ALL enemy of this country both foriegn and DOMESTIC! Like the EGA we earned and will carry with us for the rest of our lives, we are bound by that oath we took for the rest of our lives. Our beloved Corps is a a small force compaired to the other branches, but there are many times that amount out here in “reserve” awaiting the call.

The ad agency films it and puts it together, but the Marine Corps Recruiting Command in Quantico, Va has final say on whether or not it gets on t.v.
