The Corner calls this going “Dale Peterson.” Joe Manchin is the Governor of West Virginia. Right now he’s losing to the Republican in the race for the U.S. Senate.
Gawker analysis:
In the genre of “desperate Democrats using guns and war-talk to show they’re not little sissies,” this one isn’t half bad — even though the imagery gives the impression that, if elected, Joe Manchin will go to Washington and murder everyone with guns. Which is certainly a winning message for 2010! But rather gory, also.

Hello. I’m a politician and I want you to vote for me.I like the fame, power and access to money making deals that will leave me richer than if I actually worked for a living. Some psychiatrists might call this narcisistic and anti social behavior. I could lie to you, but then you know I’m lying and we are both just pretending to having this 30 second relationship.I want to use you to meet my needs. Once I have your vote you are useless to me. So vote for me..or not. We are working and spending hard to steal elections in any way we can. We have a lot at stake.

Repeal that sucker, and allow the people to shop across state lines for their coverage …

If he were to get elected he will go to Washington and do what he wants which is to vote with the other marxist progressive Democrats. The Democrat Congress passed health care and now not a one of them is running on that supposed accomplishment so believe nothing that Manchin says, gun or no gun.

Posted on October 11, 2010 at 2:14pmPretty good ad. I am willing to take it on face value and let the informed citizens of WV make their own conclusions. I think it is a juvenile position to assume that Republicans or tea parties have a monopoly on morality. I happen to know many Democrats that think Obama stinks and not because he isn’t progressive enough.
Report Post »As long as we conservatives continue to mock or reject arguments coming from our so called political opponents, the oligarchy wins folks. There are many true blue, constitutional loving democrats in our country and this dude might be one of them. Let’s get out of our black and white thinking and quick to judge mode based on prejudicial misconceptions and seek not D’s and R’s but instead content of character. This guy might be a typical lying freak for all I know, but in the end I agreed with more of his add than less of it. This is what we will need after Nov 2nd, if we are ever to break the backs of the oligarchy, a vision that focuses more on what we the people share in common and less on what we allow the ruling elites on both sides of the aisle to divide us over.

That‘s what we’ve been doing since 1776 and it hasn’t worked out very well now has it. 95% of all laws on the books, both Federal and State are UN CONSTITUTIONAL, written and passed by Members in Good Standing of the Big Government Party, both Democrat and Republican Wings. Posted on October 11, 2010 at 3:04pmFox News was the only source to cover the book burning story. It is an accurate account of what happened. They spent out tax dollars buying almost 10,000 copies of the book to burn them in the name of national security AFTER they had already approved the content. Apparently someone decided (probably in the White House) that the content made them look bad to their progressive base and changed their mind. The revised book contains a LOT of blacked out redacted material but there are still a number of copies that escaped the carnage although they are hard to find.

Now this is my question for you, if I buy a book, do I not have the right to do with that book whatever I want to? I own thousands of books – bought and paid for – I have the right to burn that property of mine and so does the DOD.

@walkwithme1966 There is a HUGE difference between YOU burning a book that you own and the GOVERNMENT buying an entire first run after it was printed and burning it. Surely even a HuffPo diehard like yourself can make this distinction? What if it was George Bush who burned the books? Would you feel differently? Do you think the press would be reporting on it? I think so.

Yes, he likes his guns and doesn’t want babies murdered inside their mothers. But he also praises Barack Hussein Obama (AKA Barry Obama, AKA Barry Soetoro – Kenyan) for his health care efforts. I think everyone here knows that the ONLY reason for progressive-communist “health care” is as foot in the door for government take-over and financial collapse of Constitutional America.
