Transgendered Porn Star to Speak at Major Liberal Arts College

If you haven’t heard of Williams College, in Williamstown, Massachusetts, you’re not alone. It‘s one of America’s best-kept educational secrets. In fact, it’s literally the number one liberal arts college in America, according to the vaunted US News and World Report. However, that reputation for educational excellence might soon be in jeopardy, given its rather questionable taste in speakers to come talk to students. Fox News picks up this story of how a diversity-oriented slush fund and some uncommon notions about academic credibility have combined to produce a PR nightmare for the school:

Colleges and universities have been known to push the envelope when it comes to inviting controversial figures to campuses, and Williams College, a prestigious private institution in western Massachusetts, is the latest — by inviting a porn star.

The speaker, Jiz Lee, is described in the college calendar advertising the event as “an award-winning genderqueer performer, author, artist and pleasure activist.” Friday night, a sample of the performer’s work is scheduled to be shown on campus followed by a discussion with students.[...]

Critics of the porn star‘s visit have questioned the administration’s judgment and funding of the event, but Williams College officials say the money is coming from a specific endowment received 20 years ago that focuses on education regarding human sexuality and orientation issues.

Founded in 1991 through a gift from Mike Dively, a 1961 graduate, the Dively Committee for Human Sexuality and Diversity is made up of faculty, staff and students who plan events each year. Bisexual activists, gay athletes, transgender performers and a wide variety of others have been welcomed to speak.

One wonders what sort of person this Dively fellow was, if he donated money specifically to bring these types of speakers to campus. As for Ms. Jiz Lee, we obviously can’t link to any of her…professional work. However, her Twitter Feed has some points of interest:

    So these “people” say its genetic. So some one please show me the gene in the human genome project that makes a man want to become a woman. I assume he is gay so it finds men attractive. But all it really does in the porn industry are lesbian scenes. So now there is a straight gene, a gay gene, a lesbian gene, a transgender gay and/or lesbian gene? Oh and a plain ole bisexual gene. And if they ever do find the gene, will they classify it as a disability?

Under the ADA, now all any-sexuals get blue decals for the sweet parking spots and all need special entrances to get into and out of stores, and can claim mental distress and anxiety if the wind blows over 5 mph and their zipper was down.       A investigation was done about 10 years ago on the DNA of people from the Middle East, since in that area of the world they are always fighting about who was first on that land, what the study found was basic common sense, the more they went back in time 1,000 – 5,000+ years, Arabic, Jewish people became related so if we went back 5,000,000+ years all of us probably came from the same monkey looking primate.

      The difference is 50,000 years the group that went north towards Europe had prosperity.
      The group that stayed in Africa to this day are still eating the little food they have out of their hands.

      For the last 500 years the two groups are again living together, result – the prosperity of white controlled countries are turning into the same degeneration of black controlled countries.
      How is this progress ? Do your own test compare TV show‘s from the 1950’s then compare the TV shows of today, like Jerry Springer, what garbage ! Again how is this progress ?

      South Africa is a great example of the two groups, when the Dutch first got to that area it was a pile of rocks, they worked the land, farmed it grew it into the only African nation with prosperity, as this is going on the starving blacks from the north start moving to South Africa, now the blacks control SA, guess what crime is up, things are worse under black control, shocking who knew.

      Let’s see, a porn star makes about $1,000 per movie, if they do 3 movies a week, that’s about $150k a year, but if they are really bad, mabye about 1 movie a week, so that drops them to $48k a year.

      This is a lesson in supply and demand. If you are bad at being gay, or bi, and can’t act, you don’t make money at the act, therefore, don’t expect me to help out your lifestyle choice. If you can’t afford to go to college, don’t come to my house and ask for help. Do what I did. Work your butt off and pay for college. Work you butt off and make a life for yourself.

      If being gay or bi isn’t enough to support yourself, my suggestion, there is a lot of lovely trash behind fastfood joints, bon appetit.

      By the way, don’t come to my house, I have an effective range of 1,000 yards, and I can hit an object at that range. Please doubt me and come a knocking.

    While I agree with your private money – private university who cares premise. Reality is that there are very few truely private unversities. Hillsdale Collage is one such University and since they take ZERO taxpayer dollars they are not held to stupid Federal regulations. I bet that Williams Collage accepts all sorts of tax payer funded federal money.

      Williams is so exclusive that it is virtually impossible to get accepted unless you have a parent or grandparent who went there. That being said, I don’t know if they accept public funds, I suspect they have a huge endowment and this particular event is funded privately. Personally, I wouldn’t go to such an event, but if this is their decision so be it.

      Point taken. Big Education, like most other thriving industries in the country, prospers by sucking at the public teat – and then supporting politicians who will regulate non-publically funded competetion out of existence.

      But even though money is fungible, the money for this insanity supposedly came from a private endowment. The money for Solyndra came straight from me. Every quarter I stroke a check to the IRS that would pay for a fair portion of a semester of college for my daughter. I usually have to clean out every account I have, it usually leaves me with nothing. I always have to worry how I’ll make it through the next couple of months. I send that money to DC, and they spend it on pure, unadulterated ********.

      And my daughter’s college account gets jack squat.

      There are regular folks who know how that feels – but there isn’t one politician who does. And I hope to God that, in November, we will send a whole bunch of those idiots – democrat and republican – packling, because I’m not sure how much more of this garbage the producers can take.

      WE are the people who finance the gluttonous excess of this gov’t, and if they don’t figure out how folks like me are looking at them, “Atlas Shrugged” is the best case scenario.

      Truth is, we working class people let the Progressive Left alone too long with out kids and now they’ve co-opted the weaker minded ones to the ways of Marxism. It‘s pretty easy to go along with when you’re told that nothing is your fault, and anybody with more must have “taken it away from you”. (I never understood how anything could be taken from “the poor”, they claim not to HAVE anything!).

      So, philosophically, I agree with you, but practically, once their out of college with worthless degrees, they’re out to get OUR hard earned wealth.

    They play parts. Their reality is who they want to be at what given moment. Their reality is fluid and so are their decisions in life. They are not stable. These youth they are attempting to impress, and many of them will be, are going to be heading for a world of hurt listening to these people instead of God. The Lord specifically said homosexuality is an abomination and it was sin for men to dress as women and women as men.

    It is confusion at the very least to people trying to grow up and find as stable a life as they can.
    These people are tools of the devil and are not cool, but are getting some of the youth to follow them to destruction, even if they are not aware of this themselves. It is a shame that some parents allow their children into schools where this sort of madness and filth is taking place. This is a sign of things to come, and there will be consequences to those who perpetrate this sin on the public.
