Trouble in Saudi Arabia Could Trigger Global Alarm Says…Glenn Beck, er, Brian Williams

Our friends at Business Insider made note of an interesting segment that aired on “The Late Show with David Letterman.”
The late night host took a moment to ask the NBC Nightly News anchor about his thoughts on the crisis in the Middle East.
Just over 3 minutes into the embedded clip below, warns Williams:
“We better hope Saudi Arabia is not on the list for the next round of let’s topple the leader. Because that could give us… that is 10% of the oil. That could give us, not to be alarmist, but that could trigger a global recession. We could be in a heap of trouble.”
Ah yes, but Glenn is crazy.

How can we recover if no jobs are produced, what the hell is a jobless recovery anyway? Without jobs aren’t those affected going to remain in a permanent depression? I believe Vector is the only electric car with that kind of range. They cost between 100 and 200K. I just can’t see him in a Nissan Leaf. I would put my money on; he commutes in a Jet Ranger. (Helicopter for those who don’t know)

Notice: Brian Williams said we shuld be alarmed because the impact on oil prices could cause a global recession (or another one). Beck says that socialists and Islamic fundamentalists have been plotting and working together to overthrow governments all across the Middle East in order to establish a new Caliphate that will spread into Western Europe and eventually bring the whole world under Shariah law. Scott Baker really can’t tell the difference between these two theories?
