Trump: Obama ‘Turning Jimmy Carter-esque,‘ Republicans ’Have all the Cards’ For Debt Deal

Donald Trump was only a Republican presidential hopeful for a few weeks, but he has been a dealmaker most of his life, and in this video interview, he implores Republicans to hold the line on the debt ceiling negotiations.
Newsmax called “the Donald” and asked him to weigh in on the political wrangling surrounding a possible default, which he said is not going to happen on August 2nd. Trump believes it is an artificial deadline conjured by Geithner and the administration to put pressure on the Republicans. He pointed out that many were calling for a crash in the market this past Monday, and nothing of significance happened.
The Donald waxed political on a range of other issues from the need to get rid of Obamacare (“I know people who will close their businesses because of it”) to his overall assessment of Obama’s administration (the president is”‘turning Jimmy Carter-esque”):

It happens at the State and Municipal level all the time. They re-structure, pay off their debts, and deal with it.

What Republicans and Tea Party members should do is demand that Obama and Biden resign immediately. Boehner would become president, he could then name Palin or Bachmann as Vice President positioning either one for a successful run for the White House in 2012. Boehner then could retire as the savior of America.
If Obama and Biden refuse, then we will not raise the debt ceiling. Let America default, it will be Obama’s fault. America is on the way to disaster anyway. Making a bold move might save our country from the liberals/commies.

Since I have no faith whatsoever in any of the politicians (other than the junior Tea Party Patriots) I don’t believe that they will get the grand deal, they are however, really good at putting things off and kicking the can down the road. None of them want the economy to crash on their watch and listen to the omplaints from the citizens of any class. Bunch of wimps.
I wish that the elections would be excellerated to this year and we could elect a real American Patriot like RON PAUL!!! That would put an end to all this currupted twisted and bloated government!!

He might say some over-the-top things, but he stays on message with the disdain of Obama – no sugar coating, or anything.
Back when Carter screwed us, the majority of people didn’t need to be “led” to the trough of information – they understood his policies and immediately did a 180. Now, people are incapable of basic reasoning, so they need to be led thru the maze of truth, so that they realize what a cluster#$!@ Obama’s admin is. He is getting enough tax revenue to service the debt and handle the most important issues.
What he wants is a few trillion to cover the outrageous spending spree he’s been on since taking over.
And most importantly he doesn’t want the silly little debt ceiling to be an issue in the upcoming election. At all costs he will not face the American voters on this.
He want more taxes – and this from a man who just gave WH staff enormous raises. The people aren’t stupid. They see this – they understand he‘ll fund Planned Parenthood no matter it takes and some are suspicious that Acorn are still getting some tax payer’s dollars. He just spends and spends and spends on those groups that’ll get him re-elected.
He desperately needs to understand that it’s small business that drives the American job situation, not his buddies running the big corporations.

If the Debt ceiling is not increased, then we actually have a defacto ‘Balanced Budget’ in place, the White House/Treasury will have to prioritize payments. In case you missed the recent History lesson Carter was the WORST President we ever had. He screwed up the economy, created a gas crises, (remember the long gas lines at filling stations?) Hostages were held in Iran for 444 days because of his weakness, the only thing that saved those hostages was Reagan taking office. The hostages were formally released into United States custody on January 20th 1981, just minutes after Ronald Reagan was sworn in. Your revisionist history just makes you look ignorant!
