Trump Tapes Special Message for Huckabee Show — Did He Know Ahead of Time?

Huckabee then took the last few minutes of Saturday’s episode of his Fox News talk show “Huckabee” to reveal his decision about being a candidate for the GOP presidential nomination in 2012.
In short, no.
He said he would have been an awesome candidate; money wasn’t a problem; the wife and kids were all in; and he’s terribly sorry to dash the hopes of all his ardent supporters.
But the Lord told him to sit this one out (not in so many words, of course, but during moments of solitary reflection).
As soon as he finished talking, a “Huckabee Alert” graphic flashed, and there was will-he-or-won’t-he GOP contender Donald Trump, saying (with typical Trumpian bombast and a hint of humor) how Huck’s a great guy and all, could’ve been a contender, but don’t let the door hit your arse on the way out … oh, and enjoy your money and the new house in Florida (Trump already has a house in Florida, the fabled Mar-a-Lago).
Couple of questions then. Was this message from Trump part of the “things will get even crazier” predication? Was Trump informed ahead of time? Did he tape two different versions?

This tag-teaming of Huckabee and Trump will no doubt set pundit tongues a’ wagging — but, both are FNC regulars, so it could have been just a bit of home-team back-slapping.
(Imagine if it had been FNC commentator and repeatedly rumored GOP candidate, former vice-presidential nominee and Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin … liberal and conservative blogs could have dined out on that one for a week.) But it again proves that, while Trump’s actual viability as a candidate is yet to be determined, there‘s no doubt he’s a ….
….heckuva showman. As for Huckabee’s rationale, it served the dual purpose of letting others either in or pondering the GOP race know that he would have given them a run for their money. And btw conversely, that if he doesn‘t like what they’re doing, a word to his followers could dent their poll numbers.

This guy is a smooth operator. And a RINO. A deadly duo.
As far as the Donald is concerned. Keep talking! I love it. Noone can say that Trump isn’t bringing some life to the race and knocking the Fox TV pundits on their behinds a bit. Nothing gives me more pleasure than seeing these TV pundits scramble to marginalize him and shut him up!
And it won’t work. Trump is far too smart for that. He hasn’t gotten where he has gotten for no reason! He loves the game, and he knows how to play it. To the hilt!

1.) they watched theSouth Carolina Fox debate and saw how Herman Cain completely owned all of the TCPs (Typical Career Politicians)…
2.) they paid attention to the Luntz focus group where only two people going in even knew who Cain was only to have an overwhelming majority supporting the man when the debate was over
No other TCP mentioned as possibly running for president has EVER gotten that kind of reaction. Not Santorum. Not Gingrich. Not Romney. Not even Ron Paul and his ‘Net spammers. NOBODY!

I am a little surprised by all the “Consv./Repubs” that are so negative about Trump. No, he may not be the “ideal” but I agree with those (like The Toad) that say at least he’s “fiery” and not “pc” and you can believe what he says that he thinks for the most part…and they don’t come across as “girlie men” in their “presence” and “delivery” (except maybe for Herman Cain). I think Trump is one of the main guys the Dems are really scared of that could beat him…but on the other hand, I think they don’t quite “get it” about how many are angry & scared we are “out here” and we’ll probably vote for anyone, just to get Obama out….even patriotic Dems bc they see how much of a disaster he is. But of courrse we want someone who will actually start actively changing things drastically. I leave it all up to God – He’ll put in whoever is best – if He chooses to give us another chance.

I think it VERY callous to bring up huckabee’s BEAUTIFUL NEW HOME in florida when there are so many homeless and people losing their homes left and right. Regarding the birth certificate, he was the ONLY one able to make POTUS produce his long form. I, and many others wanted to see this and we had every right to. Trump is one of the most successful international business man on the planet. I’m sure he has the juice to get our country back on track. Do this, look at the clothes you are wearing, everything you can purchase at ALL big box stores, Walmart, Target, etc and notice where everything is made! Very few products you can buy anymore are NOT made in the USA, we need to change this and put our people back to work making things in the USA. Why would Trump want to take on the great responsibility of POTUS whe he has it made BIG time? I believe he is a true American that sees the direction we are heading and knows he has the ability to change the USA. That is a true Patriot…if he does run, which I hope he does. I have alot of friends and they all echo the same thing, TRUMP is the only viable choice we have.

All the rest of the “Candidates” currently in the mix except for CAIN are ‘inter-changeable” WE NEED a STRONG, POWERFUL fighter. PALIN or TRUMP with a CAIN or WEST VEEP. Michelle may be nice, but she’s like Romney…whiners…pleaders…We do NOT need another McCain (who should step down now and let Jan Brewer have his Senate Seat) …. WE need a hard hitting, take no prisoners, no nonsense POWER HOUSE ….not some “PC Politicaleze-speaking” worthless Candidate. PALIN/CAIN; TRUMP/CAIN; PALIN/WEST; TRUMP/WEST. Put Newt in charge of Education; Bolton as SOfSTATE and try to clean out all the Liberal Dems who have made that their personal bee-hive for 60 + years; WE NEED STRAIGHT-TALKING, NO-NONSENSE people and we need them about now…but I think we have time…especially for a KNOWN-NAME. Bachmann just can‘t cut it and ROVE’S candidate: JEBBIE BUSH makes me throw up…he’s another PROGRESSIVE BUSH…with his “ No Child Left Behind Educational debacle” albatross. WE need PALIN to bring back common sense to the mess the PROGRESSIVES have made of EVERYTHING.

Anyone who believes that Trump will do anything but continue to push us into the abyss of debt, is simply either not educated on his past experience, and or issues, or simply wants someone “loud and tough” with no substance.

Posted on May 15, 2011 at 11:20amI’d just as soon have Trump as opposed to ALL currently “announced” candidates. He’s an A-hole and I think he‘d be a decent prescription for what’s ailing America – too many takers and not enough producers. He’d tell people to get off their asses and stop whining.
Romney/Pawlenty/Santorum/Gingrich – they‘re jokes because they’re career politicians. They go to be at night and wake up in the morning with an angle. They will be Obama-lite.
Paul’s OK, but he’s a bit too “hands-off” for me, and seems a bit “sneaky”, if you will. I think his son would make a much better presidential candidate.
Cain‘s a bit of a yawner and I don’t know enough about his background, what he’s supported, what he feels the role of government is for dealing with the losers in this country, etc. I‘d be wary of the wolf in sheep’s clothing on Cain.
Really, Palin is the only candidate that would actually effect change. The only problem is, all you Sally’s are afraid to support her and you make up these lame excuses in doing so. Then, you‘ll all be crying in your Wheaties like you have been since 1988 when you can’t figure out why the country is in a tailspin.
My own brethren can’t figure this out – amazing.

His envy of Trump cannot be stopped, even though it is obvious to all who are familiar with his opinion of the Donald (yes, Glenn, Beck has a bigger house than you do). For those who didn‘t know about Huck’s Florida digs, watch Fox News a little more often.
Trump is going to make the unending 2012 campaign a bit easier to stomach. Wait until POTUS is on day and night spouting his awful philosophy and praising himself for the work done by the Navy SEALS, healthcare “reform,” the amped-up drilling for oil, the economic recovery he made possible with all those jobs, etc., etc. Having Trump along for the ride would give us some comic relief, and maybe even some sound suggestions as to how to turn these many crises around. I wouldn’t mind having him at the front of the line were the b******s in China to earnestly use their power to defeat us –economically, cyber-wise, and militarily. No other candidate or possible candidate knows the Chicoms as well as he does and he has no fear of them. It would be fun to watch!
