TSA Finally Responds to Video of 6-Year-Old Girl Going Through Pat Down

We first posted the new video of the TSA pat down of a young girl on Sunday morning.  The full video is disturbing on many levels:

Here’s how the Toronto Sun summarizes the scene:

The young girl, who is with her mother in the video, does not make any comment while she’s being patted down. An onlooker videotaped the encounter.

“You can’t just re-scan her?” the girl’s mother asks. The TSA agent says no.

The agent tells the girl what she’s doing, including saying she‘s touching the girl’s “sensitive area with the back of my hand.”

Near the end of the minute-and-a-half video, a woman is heard saying: “They’re doing the drug test on her, the whatever test … on a six-year-old.”

“Yeah. it’s their job,” a man replies.

And now TSA is responding to the viral spread of the video.  Here’s the report from NBC News:

The TSA is another example of a government agency we DO NOT need. Defund and Disband it. It doesn’t make us much safer anyway. It’s the government for crying out loud. How safe can they really make us with this crap?

    It’s a nudge, people. A nudge.

I have never, ever been searched like that in all my years of flying, and I don’t intend to start now. They will be doing it for busses, trains, and goodness knows what else before it’s over; but he won’t secure the border. This is the worst time of my life, since Soetoro has been usurping the office of POTUS. We have been attacked by terrorists on our own soil, entered into war unconstitutionally, and have seen the Constitution shredded before our eyes. And now this little child will be growing up in an America that takes her earnings, searches her at airports, and leaves her no liberties.

I don’t know which is worse – the fact that this kind of bs is happening or that so many are so willing to give up their freedom, because they are under the false assumption that this is making them safer. C’mon, does anybody really think Fergie or Kim Kardashian is a terrorist, but they had to undergo this. If this were about the terrorists, then they’ve won, because they have the US population jumping through hoops like a circus animal, but I really think the government is just taking advantage of many people’s fears to clamp down more control. If the government really cared about our safety, then why aren’t they securing the border?

Its most disturbing that we live in times when some cultures think its a honorable thing to sacrafice their children – strap bombs on them and send them into a bistro – its sick we have to look twice at a child that has been sent in to kill as many of our troops as possible as in Viet Nam – Its sick that parents choose to use innocent kids to mule their dope, even hide it in their cribs – SOME PEOPLE WILL DO ANYTHING WITH A CHILD TO ACHIEVE THEIR GOALS. Its also sick that are TSA, DEA, CIA, ICE, DHS teams and more have to look at a child as a possible threat, or set a precendant. No matter how over the top it seems just showing that they WILL pat down a child may save lives by deterring a potential threat – someone thinking its a weak point in security. Imagine being the Agent ORDERED to do the Pat Down? So many things are used to determine random pat downs or trip alarms we dont we hear in these check points. My room-mate on his way to Convention was stopped at JFK and terrorized because the sniffers picked up nitroglycerin on his jeans – they held him while they tossed the hotel he stayed at in NJ – and verified his story – he was 18 hrs late – But What if? 6 Months after 9/11 i flew out of Boston with my daughter. She was 14 and we were going to FL to a special program to help in her recovery treatment from repeated sexual abuse at age 12. She suffered intense Anxiety and panic attacks. TSA pulled her away from me took her behind the glass partition – to pat her down – took her shoes – etc – an Agent stayed with me. This event had more of an effect on me than it did my daughter. There was no behavior or incident to suggest she should be checked, nor me. Pure numbers. I had a choice – treat it as normal – reassure her – or loose it. Having worked as a low to high level 1st responder in Disaster Situations, Search & Recovery, too many major aircraft accidents, too many fires, and 9/11 – Counselling to many next of kins – i will ALWAYS opt for being safe rather than sorry. I am not PLEASED with patting down a kid of any age – but it is the Adults the parents around the world that necessetate this. WE NEED TO INCREASE BORDER SAFTEY to eliminate this need in our country. Has pareants we need to teach our kids that Security checks ARE – not bad not good – Just ARE – not to be afraid – And then parents take the fight to the Government to make policy changes that protect our kids innocence and our national security at the same time. Remember when this wasnt a possibility? Remeber when a child would never be pat down – but given Airline Wings? I do – it was the 60s! i was 9. What changed? CHANGE IT BACK…….. If we dont demand our Country back, make the changes to be able to live as we did in our Glory, than this little one and all the rest to come will know nothing but this and much much worse…… Is this what you really want? This is a wake up call

I choose freedom and common sense over the BS by the TSA. We DON’T have to do this. The Israelis don’t and they have a greater reason to fear terrorists than we do. There’s no way I will submit myself or my children to this. I won’t fly anymore, but this is just the beginning. Soon there will be searches to get on a train, bus, enter a shopping mall or random roadside checkpoints. It is really all about control under the guise of safety. Are you that afraid to fly that you would give up your freedom and submit to sexual molestation? If so, just stay home and hide under the bed.

you are right about desensitizing. The next generation that is coming up has in so many ways grown up to accept things that in previous times would have been seen as violations of freedom but which now they will accept as the norm. One of the things I am talking about is the use of cameras all throughout schools (I know we have them all over the place through out buildings and streets now) as being normal and acceptable, illegal searches of lockers, drug testing to do school activities etc. etc. etc. Coming soon to a school near you: your child’s “medical home” conveniently located in your child’s school along with federally mandated annual psychological examinations to “find problems before they occur”… think I’m kidding on that one…check out HHS plan for your child courtesy of obamacare.

Did you hear some ‘discussion about reporting school bullying cases to a Federal Agency’ ? Take back our schools first and ‘deschool’ your children asap. People are protesting about the space in a chicken cage & it makes headlines, now they want gov’t preschool mandatory in CA for 3 year olds? Papa – i wrote a detailed response below – however – even my 53 yr old sister was subjected to this type of pat down – last december in Salt Lake city with the new mandate. She was instructed what would take place – and how – she asked to be stripped search vs. being touched by anyone male or female that included feeling under her breasts and in between her buttocks and other regions – she was very humiliated – and held for questioning at her request for a strip search. This is a DHS policy that needs to change – and it changes by tightening the Border HARD – and declaring our rights as we have become the minority at the hands of being sensitive an dpolitically correct for Foreign Nationals, Immigrants – bad bad course we are on. so it isnt abuse directed specifically at this child – BUT it is unacceptable. 4-14-40-60-80 male female – WRONG -

That pat down is freaking you out? You ain’t seen nothing yet! Learn how those who forced this outrageous practice on us treat little boys. I don’t have to spell out what happens to little girls, since you all know about six-year old Aisha, Muhammad’s child bride.

      Here’s an excerpt:

==> “[T]e is a curious rule that the Western media has typically ignored. Rule No. 19 instructs that Taliban fighters must not take young boys without facial hair into their private quarters.

Aside from the question of what is permitted if a young boy does happen to have facial hair, this new Taliban commandment brings light to a taboo pathology that underlies the structures of militant Islam. And it is crucial to deconstruct the meaning of this rule — and the horrid reality that it represents — because it serves as a gateway to understanding the primary causes of Islamic rage and terror.

…Rule No. 19 obviously indicates that the sexual abuse of young boys is a prevalent and institutionalized phenomenon among the Taliban… The key issue here is that the demented sickness that underlies Rule No. 19 is by no means exclusive to the Taliban; it is a widespread phenomenon throughout Islamic-Arab culture…” http://www.advicegoddess.com/archives/2007/08/the_homoereotic.html

The perverts at the top of TSA….teaching little girls to let adults feel them up, while moms and dads everywhere sleep. What will big government do to us next? When will people wake up?

When this is preferred screening (manhandling a small child vs profiling an adult looking suspicious) our country is in grave danger. If we don’t get all progressives out of our government our country is in grave danger. Have you ever seen a progressive that respects the life of any child, heck for that matter any human. Now they would never allow that treatment of an animal, h3ll no.

I can’t believe this is America.

The TSA should be disbanded immediately, or at a minimum, John Pistole should be fired and replaced by someone who would restore sanity to airline security.

We have to start profiling. We would not have gotten too far as a species without it.

before this new system started, we were flying out of providence when after the initial security , a team of enhanced security people came to the gate for random behind the curtain search. In the line a group of 4 arab looking men between the age of 18 and 30 were ignored. My 11 year old daughter was searched and we saw a woman in her late 70′s searched. There is no saftey in flying, it is a scam.

I warned my fellow flyers about this and they still did nothing about it. We santioned TSA to do this when we didn nothing, all in the name of PC. With the record of bandaid fixes, its just a matter of time when a cavity search will be required. Really? If a terrorists trys to set a bomb off in his cavity…it will be next. History? All knives came off passengers when 911 happend, then lighters from the shoe bomber and next our shoes. When the underware bomber came along….Body scanners. If you think these terrorists like making travel for us a horor…guess again. Profile, profile, profile….most are not young kids or old men with walkers….maintain dogs for bomb sniffing as they are happy to see you or they are alerting the TSA you smell like bomb….profiling? It ain’t personal with dogs…really…

They say that she followed the correct procedures – Well they just admitted that they are telling the TSA to sexually molest people especially little children.

They say that they will not exclude anyone of any age, race, etc. – Then perhaps they should explain why they are extremely unlikely to do this to muslims because they don’t want to offend their religion.

Therefore, #1 – they are SEXUAL DEVIANTS, PERVERTS AND CHILD MOLESTERS – Why aren’t they in prison for doing this – the law says that no matter what they are told to do, they cannot break the law and the last I heard permission to MOLEST CHILDREN is not a law so they are breaking the law regardless of what they are told to do. They should be put in prison and they can personally find out what it is like to be molested. #2 – They are RACISTS because they DO exclude muslims which are the primary offenders of terrorism. Perhaps if they were sent over to the hardcore terrorism areas they would find out what a real terrorist looks like.
CHILD MOLESTERS – SEXUAL DEVIANTS – PERVERTS – RACISTS – What more proof do we need?

These “screenings” aren’t even necessary. Starting on 9/11 what has thwarted the terrorists? Flight 93 the other passengers, shoe bomber the other passengers, underwear bomber the other passengers. Unless the whole jet is comprised of terrorists there will be other passengers that will try to stop them even if it means their own death for no longer will a hijacking mean sitting on a tarmac at some airport until negotiators free you, a hijacking now means everyone on the jet will die and therefore a reason to fight to live. Profile on the ground and use dogs. Let us bring knives and lighters on the plane again, if someone gets past security we as passengers will take care of it. This is something the terrorists already know they have made it past security before, but they have yet to get past the passengers.

Your right! She will probably grow up to be one of those rich white racist who doesnt want to hand over her hard earned money to people of color who refuse to work. Better to nip it in the bud now, by having a TSA agent of color to put the little conservative in her place.

Anybody notice most of the TSA agents are ‘black’?..Is this Obama’s Army? I think it’s time to assess the racial breakdown of ALL Federal, State and Local jobs. This may be contributing to a ‘hostile environment’. What has happened to ‘Diversity’?. Let‘s see how diverse the jobs are by a ’racial’ breakdown.

What the hell is wrong with people, especially the parents??? Letting the TSA molest a little girl?? No one says anything or tries to stop them…..I would be in prison now if I were there, I would never allow anyone to treat a child like that! The TSA agent should be arrested and charged with child molestation!! The rest of the people and parents should be ashamed of themselves, allowing this kind of crap to go on……..

Its very simple to me. We need to profile the people who are likely to committ a terrorist act. That would be Muslims, or anyone else that looks to be from the Mid-East. No apologys needed!

How do you tell your kids its “NOT” OK for strangers to touch you….Especially in those “DANGER ZONES” then let a stranger touch your child in the danger zone…….Half the Child molesters in this country are on their way out to buy TSA outfits….The other half of the child molesters appear to already be wearing them

This all sounds bad, but havent you people heard of stuff being planted on kids, we would complain if the girl had to be put through more x-ray. As long as the staff are being professional and the parents are their watching and explaining, it should be fine. The only other options are dont fly,
take children or get blown up.
