(Updated) Tsunami Warning Canceled After 7.1 Quake Rocks Alaskan Coast

UPDATE:
ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — A tsunami warning has been canceled for parts of the Aleutian Islands of Alaska after a 7.1-magnitude earthquake was recorded in the Pacific Ocean.
Officials canceled the warning early Friday morning after only a small wave was recorded in the remote community of Atka.
State emergency officials said some Atka residents had evacuated to higher ground when the all clear was given.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — A tsunami warning is in effect for parts of the Aleutian Islands of Alaska after a 7.1-magnitude earthquake was recorded in the ocean.
The USGS says the earthquake struck in the waters at about 6:55 a.m. Eastern, and there are no initial reports of injuries or damage.
The tsunami warning is in effect for coastal areas of Alaska from Unimak Pass to Amchitka Pass. The areas are very remote and not heavily populated, according to Jessica Sigala, geophysicist with the USGS in Golden, Colo.

Suffering brings out great things in people. There is another force at play that trys to remove all pain and suffering and that force knows that if he can do this he can declare himself God. Get with the program, be enlightened to the real world you live in and its supernatural forces that are at work for your very soul. For you are created in the image of God and that image should return to God, but other forces wish to destroy it thus an attempt at destroying God. God cannot be destroyed but Satan will try to destroy us in an attempt to set his kingdom up and many will fall with him just as the angels of old.

My bank was giving me the runaround just like you’re getting from Mercury/Beck so the media person did a story on it and it got resolved pronto. I know it’s frustrating, but maybe that will help. The media loves to bash Beck anyway, so this may really work out for you. Good luck!

In the meantime, to add to your education, there IS something coming toward our planet that WILL be in “alignment” with Earth and the Sun in just a few weeks. When it has been in “alignment” in the past, we’ve had the Chilean earthquake last year and the Japanese earthquake this year…coincidence or End Times?

It’s a planet. It just does what it does. Our lifetime here is a blip in the history of the universe. It seems arrogant, to me, and rather superstitious, to believe we have anything to do with how it behaves, or that God is manipulating this ol’ rock in order to send us a message, or to punish us. The Ring of Fire got its name for a reason, and it had nothing to do with the behavior of mankind. There is no divine justice being meted out in the movement of the tectonic plates, or the wind, or the water, or the magma. It is a condition of life on a beautiful planet that it occasionally has weather, or geological activity. To read anything into it makes us little better than primitives trying to placate the sun because the earth tilts on its axis.

If the Mayan calendar theory is correct (and I’m not necessarily buying into it, God is in control) we’ve only just begun. There are fault lines running everywhere on the planet. Chances are, you live near one. So, again, Glenn is correct in his urging everyone to be prepared. Stock up on food/water/ammo, it’s gonna literally be a bumpy ride!

Posted on September 2, 2011 at 8:04amMy wife lived through the Alaskan quake in 64 at seward ak the wave wiped out the entire water front, it was 3 days until an airforce C119 flew over to confirm any survivors in the town. everytime there is a pacific quake the bug out bags get thrown in the truck and she’s ready to head up the hill … ptsd i guess. when she gets up i’ll tell her and get ready for the “ride up the hill” we live on the orygun coast

Posted on September 2, 2011 at 10:29amJoel you need to read the prophecys and warnings about these things placed in the Bible for our warning of things to come….yes we are a blip on the screen of time and God knows that our time is limited for he has created all that you and I see and he knows its time and cycles are limited atleast for the cycle of this earth which from the foundations of its creation were going to be its future. God is not manipulating, he does not have to, his creation has a set appointment and there is nothing that can be done to change that. He will reveal in short order what he has done and what he will do to all. You need to look past what you can see and ask yourself what is the purpose of everything I see, what is my purpose. Can all this be just some random accident? The heavens declare his majesty and power every night. Jesus said when you SEE ALL these THINGS occur, you will know that you are the generation who will see the return. He has given us so much time to chart our course and some have served him well and many have chose not to. OK, he knows who loves him and who does not….those that do will spend all eternity with him and those who rejected the creator will not.
