Twice Deported, ‘Undocumented’ Worker Kills Houston Police Officer

Early Sunday morning in Houston, Texas, police officer Kevin Will was working a traffic stop on the side of the highway when a drunk driver struck and killed him. Officer Will leaves behind a pregnant wife and two children.

Twice Deported, Undocumented Worker Kills Houston Police Officer

HPD Chief Charles McClelland says that Kevin Will also died a hero. Just seconds before he was struck and killed by Johoan Rodriguez’s car, Officer Will pushed another man out of the way. KTRH spoke to the Chief:

“The man heard the impact before he hit the ground,” says McClelland.  “But he credits Officer Will with giving him the prior warning of yelling ‘Get out of the way!’ it actually saved his life.”

The tragedy of Officer Kevin Will’s death is compounded by the fact that his killer, Johoan Rodriguez is an illegal immigrant who had twice been deported, only to find his way back into the country. According to the KTRH report, Will is also the sixth consecutive HPD officer to be shot or killed in the line of duty by an illegal immigrant.

Perhaps DNC head Debbie Wasserman Schultz needs to rethink her belief that “undocumented immigrants” are not criminals. The Florida congresswoman has stated that undocumented immigrants (like like the twice-deported Johaon Rodriguez), are “part of the backbone of our economy and not only a reality, but a necessity…”  I‘m pretty certain that officer Will’s seven-month pregnant widow and his two children would disagree with Ms. Wasserman-Schultz.

      A person who’s job I bid complained to me that my estimate came in at $200 higher than another bid.I know the the man that presented the cheaper bid and I know the way that he works (hiring illegals),I explained to the customer that any help I employ are all legal and get 1099 forms from me for filing their taxes and are paid competitive tradesmans wages.This guy is the most obnoxious conservative Obama hater you could ever meet. He refused my bid and went with the other guy.I drove by his house a week later and saw an army of Mexicans running around his yard mowing his lawn.This guy tells me he wants to save America!, I guess saving a few bucks is worth the price of hypocrisy.

      I work as a contractor and employ only legal subs.Most of the other contractors I know employ Mexicans for cash in hand wages because they want to maximise profits especially after the new housing market went flat.These people are almost completely anti Obama yet you naturally assume the mans employer was a liberal.I don’t wish to make this a partisan thing,especially considering the subject matter of the thread,but in my experience liberals are less likely to hire illegal immigrants than their conservative counterparts.

      Most work I do these days is enough for one man(I am a carpenter myself) to be honest I usually pass up anything bigger than small residential remodels.I mostly do some finer woodworking stuff (bookcases,wine cellars etc.) there are still some rich people out there.who’ll pay for these.Good luck finding work.

      This really hits home with me, I knew Kevin since 2006, and we worked for the same bank. Stayed in touch periodically since.

      Kevin was humble, smart, hardworking, funny and full of love and life. He was an excellent father, caring husband and a great friend.

      In 2008 when Wachovia failed and sold to Chase they decided to shut down the branch he was working at, he knew it was coming but still he was heartbroken. After putting countless years into his carrier he got the layoff letter. At the time I had just started a new job with another bank, during a dinner and a beer at Buffalo Wild Wings I offered to vouch for him for a new job at the bank I was working at. He said “thank you for the offer but I want to do something useful with my life and that he was accepted to the police academy” I am kicking myself in the head for not insisting.

      Very misleading story. How many are killed by American drunk drivers? 25,000 according to the internet. I doubt there is a higher rate of drunk deaths for illegals than Americans, in fact I’ll bet the opposite is true, less alcohol related deaths per driver for the illegals.

      Not at all, Encinom. I think most Blazers would be quick to point out that if you personally went to Mexico and got drunk and killed a police officer, you would be tossed into a dark, dank prison cell and possibly never again see the light of day.

      Also I would like to point out that it was more than an “unfortunate” incident. The illegal alien involved had been deported twice before. Now he’s committed vehicular manslaughter. Personally, I think maybe they should give him to Sheriff Joe Arpaio in Arizona.

      As for your comment about every Mexican, well, let me tell you that I know a number of Latinos that are heartily disgusted with some of the trash that is coming across the border simply because they feel the criminals are not only harming their victims, but also harming legal Latinos, whether they are citizens or those who are here legally. And La Raza hasn’t helped, either. It’s up to the Latino community to deal with the criminal reputation they are acquiring. They are the only ones who can.

Everytime someone gets killed by an illegal, we pick out at least one liberal commie that is fighting to keep us from protecting our borders and we will hold these people to the same charges that the illegal alien (aka A CRIMINAL!!!!) is held to.       If I were that widow, I‘d SUE Homeland Security and ICE and I’d lock arms with all the moms and dads and children and brothers and sisters in this Nation that have suffered the SAME sort of tragedy at the hands of Illegals. If someone is neglecting to do their job and it results in a death, someone needs to be punished. Since the illegal was ALLOWED into the country, the people responsible for allowing that are directly responsible for this man’s death. SUE SUE SUE….its the Liberal mantra, lets use it on THEM for a change :D
