Two Dead, Two Wounded in Attack on U.S. Military Bus in Germany

Two Dead, Two Wounded in Attack on U.S. Military Bus in Germany
WASHINGTON (AP) — Rep. Patrick Meehan says a shooting on U.S. soldiers in Germany looks like it could be a terrorist attack.

Meehan made clear he did not have all the facts about the shooting and was still being briefed by his staff.

Meehan, a member of the House Homeland Security Committee, made the remarks Wednesday as he was wrapping up a hearing about al-Qaida. Meehan is the chairman of the subcommittee that focuses on terrorism and intelligence.

Police in Germany say a gunman fired shots at U.S. soldiers on a bus outside a Frankfurt airport, killing the bus driver and a passenger. Two others were wounded before the gunman was taken into custody.

Police would not say whether any of the casualties were U.S. military personnel.

Why all the Obama bashing? First off, the gunman is believed to be a Kosovo national — if related to that, it could have easily happened under Clinton/Bush. Second, if it was “Islamic extremism” in nature — then you would have to support the withdrawal of all US Forces/Personnel from Muslim nations.

They should let US soldiers in foreign countries grow out their hair, and wear plain/bland clothing. Our faded haircuts, and US style dress are a dead giveaway of our national origin.

Why all the Obama bashing? You are correct in that it could have happened under any President. But beyond that, President Obama is not respected by the world at large, mainly because he himself believes America is the problem in the world, not the solution. Perhaps you agree with his assessment and if so, that is your right. However, America IS NOT the problem, America IS THE GLUE that holds the whole stinkin’ mess together!

Withdrawl of our militray in ALL Muslim nations?!? Last time I checked Germany was NOT a muslim nation. Secodly, I would whole-hearterly support our withdrawl. .on the condition that we quit importing, supporting, and accommodating same in this country!

The heircut, lack of acial hair, etc.is supposedly done for reasons of the high probability of wounds. By all means lets have the armed forces of the US run around, looking like a bunch of bison breeders. . HOW COOL!

When I was there in the ‘60’s our job was to protect NATO (and other allies) from the Soviets. Now that the Soviets no longer exist, can someone please tell me why we’re still there? I mean, the Germans are good people, and their food and beer are great, but WTF ? Does Germans serve as some sort of US outpost? Why? What exactly would BHO-hoo do if we were attacked there anyway? Apologize? We could stand-up some dummies (ok, public union dummies), and when they are attacked he can apologize and nobody gets hurt. Right? Or maybe Holder can send over some of ‘his people’ to serve as dummies … whoever they are … could he possibly mean government lawyers? … we could give them some instruction and then they would be minimally qualified to be dummies … (apologies to the real dummies in store windows and such)

I believe that we the people are allowing people to elected positions that don‘t have our servicemen’s best interest at heart. We the people must never fall asleep politically again. While our country is mocked, our good name slurred, our good deeds ridiculed, and our youngest and best killed, we continue to vote for the bums who are to blame for these conditions. Obamas a bum, I understand that, and I think enough people understand that he needs to be a 1 term president. I just pray that America can last till 2012. We the people MUST elect people of good character first and foremost. People who love America. We can never allow this great nation to become the laughing stock of the world. We need a George Washing again.

Germany is fully able financally and militarialy to defend itself.

Let’s evaluate the readiness of countries where we have troops stationed. If they can defend themselves, let’s bring our troops home from those countries. That would eliminate the need to spend billions of dollars renting bases and infrastructure in those countries thereby reducing the debt load on Americans.

The returning troops could then be utilized to defend our border with Mexico and stop the flow of ILLEGAL IMMIGRINTS!

Can Holder help you? It depends upon whether you are one of his “people”. At this point based on Holder’s words and actions, we can clearly identify some groups that are part of his “people”. If you are in one of these groups, then possibly he will. The groups identified so far are: Guantanimo detainees, Radical Imams held for terrorist acts against innocent citizens, Black Panthers, New Black Panthers, SEIU, AFL-CIO leaders (not members), ACORN, CAIR, Public Employee union leaders (not members), UAW which took much from the rightful owners of GM and Democrat donors who owned GM and Chrysler dealerships, Republican owners were definitely not.

Germany has strict gun control. The citizens for the most part, are not armed. Only the criminals are armed as they could care less about gun control laws. You can have a handgun in Germany, but it is a long process and ownership is very limited and controlled. Hunting rifles are another story. Hunting in Germany is very expensive and normally only pursued by the wealthy that can afford it or US servicemen that have the right to hunt without the ridiculous costs (part of WWII treatise). Terrorism has been a problem in Germany for decades. Multiculturalism has greatly enhance the ability of terrorists to go undetected in most of Europe and here in the US. We are most at risk here in the US. Terrorist training camps exist today in many parts of the US and the ones that are known are monitored by the FBI. They cannot be shut down unless they break the law. It is not against the law to train groups in combat tactics as long as there is no evidence of illegal activity. You could legally train and equip a private army here, waiting for the day that their army will execute it’s planned mission. Up to that day, they are totally legal.

And this is one more reason why US military should never fly while in uniform. And if the reporter is correct that these airmen were leaving for a deployment, they should never be flying commercial for that purpose as well. I deployed with the Air Farce(and that is not a typo) and our unit was ordered to fly from a commercial airport, check our weapons, and were actually split up on six different flights. Now why can’t we just fly from base to base on military planes that we already own instead of endangering our lives by being ordered to fly commercial? Our so called military leaders are simply clueless. And know, I’m not some first termer either, I’m a 14 year veteran of two wars and I left after this last deployment, for this reason, among others….like being ordered to salute the Iraqi flag.

Perhaps he was treated poorly in the society where multiculturalism reigns? Or just maybe he is a follower of a perverted version of a religion and was taught from his youth that America is evil and killing our soldiers or civilians away from the field of battle is honorable and will give him rewards in this life and the next. How long will the powers that be continue to make excuses for these bastards and refuse to look our enemy in the face, draw a line in the sand and unleash the full force of our military,

“A tragic event”? “A stark reminder” of “sacrifices” to “keep us safe” from “dangers”? No, Mr. President, it’s a stark reminder that the world is full of Muslim males in their twenties who believe that their God has commanded them to murder Americans.

Once again, the President and the mainstream media — even the report on Fox News — avoided the words “Muslim,“ or ”Islam” and reference to any possible religious motive for the attack. It is true that we don’t have “all the information”-not that this has been any impediment in the past for the President to shoot off his mouth-but we do have some extremely strong evidence that the man was an Islamic terrorist.”

Clearly, Islam is at war with Western Civilization as a whole and especially Israel and the US… The longer we coddle these war-mongers, the weaker we appear and the more exposed we become; and the sooner we can drop this ridiculous PC censorship, the sooner we can start saying it for what it is and defending ourselves…

We are desperately in need of true patriotic leaders who will stop sacrificing America at the alter of “Globalization” for their own personal wealth and greed and starting representing what’s best for America.
