PORT ORCHARD, Wash. (AP) — A Washington state sheriff says a shooting at a Walmart has left one person dead and two sheriff’s deputies wounded.
Kitsap County Sheriff Steve Boyer says the two deputies along with another person are being taken to a Tacoma hospital. He says the incident in Port Orchard began at about 3:45 p.m. and few details are yet known.
The conditions of the wounded aren’t immediately available.
Port Orchard is about 15 miles west of Seattle across Puget Sound.

Posted on January 23, 2011 at 9:29pmI never feel bad when I hear about cops getting hurt or killed. They hurt average people all the time when they lie in their police reports and make up details to win their cases in court. It serves them right for screwing with people’s lives when they get it. Its a taste of their own medicine. Even though I am not sympathetic towards these nutcases, I am less sympathetic to the police and the police state mentality that is so prevalent in our country these days.

Posted on January 23, 2011 at 11:11pmWow. I work with these people. Thank God they are alive. I was there. While I feel cops suffer from bad leadership, and do not seem to value the constitution like they should, they are good people doing an important job. I am thankful that they are ok, and hope they get back to work soon. And I hope my fellow citizens can vote in leaders that will return the title of “peace officer” to the law enforcement industry. And stop the revenue generating/ticket writing/ law inventing direction we have been going. BE ACCOUNTABLE

Posted on January 23, 2011 at 9:19pmIt was a drug related shooting. From what family members have said, it appears it was a police incident and not related to the store. But no one really knows for sure at this time. WA state is always looking for a new reason to pass even more worthless gun laws. Like a law has ever stopped a criminal from doing what they set out to do. Laws are invisible barriers that only honest people acknowledge. To a criminal or a person with criminal intent, its just thin air.

I don’t know the details of the situation, but it sounds like the shooter should be charged with 3 counts of murder.
