We’ve been waiting a year for this, and now the time has come. Rush Limbaugh bypasses Rio Linda for Quahog. Yes, Excellence in Broadcast comes to Fox’s “Family Guy.” Your preview clip is coming — first a few scenes of note:
You know this will be better than Arianna Huffington on “The Cleveland Show.”
The show seems to have everything. Religion:
A trip to the fair:
A prison scene:
A scene that could be from a very strange prison:
Something to please Al Gore:
Something to please Michael Steele:
And, thankfully, Rush just being Rush:
Rush seems pretty geeked about the whole experience:
And now your preview. Which is longer than the two-minutes promised in the headline. Enjoy — with :30 bonus seconds to boot:
“Family Guy” airs Sunday night at 9pm ET on Fox.

Posted on October 1, 2010 at 1:35amI agree sometimes family guy goes a little over the top sometimes, but Seth rocks in my boat. he could have grown up on my street as far as generation(I’m 45). First time I saw it’s I was laughing so hard I fell off the couch.(Patriot Games) I would imagine it hard to get all the jokes if you’re under thirty but my step kids in their twenties love it. I agree it’s a hoot and Rush is a great sport. As for the show I agree it’s ratings will probably go nuclear Sunday!

Posted on October 1, 2010 at 12:57amDeep down even liberals are capitalists. How much you want to bet the ratings go off the charts for this episode. I remember Rush talking about this a year ago and he said he had staffers come up to him a whisper I’m a conservative and the only one here. He said that happened several times.

lol
Report Post »Brady
Posted on October 1, 2010 at 12:03amI’ve never felt like Family Guy was completely leftist; it’s just that popular culture nowadays is very, um, liberal. What I’m saying is that they never pushed liberalism, it is only that their point of view is from that side. I’ve found morality to a lot of the plots in Family Guy, but because the humor is random and raw, many people can’t get into it. The shows just confuses them.
Report Post »Peraslax
Posted on October 1, 2010 at 12:49amI agree Brady. It’s definately coming from a leftist point of view, but they dont push it hard, Unless someone makes a big stink out of something they cover, then they will go back and hit it with a vengeance. The writers on this show love getting rises out of people. They have taken on Bin Ladin, Jesus ,Clinton, Native Americans, you name it, they’ve hit it, The main message I always got from Family Guy is Quit taking everything so damned seriously.

Posted on October 1, 2010 at 8:04amSeth MacFarlane, the principle voice actor, creator, and director of the show is unapologetically a pretty far left guy. However he is more interested in being edgy than politics, so that is how he can stand being in the same room with El Rushbo.
Report Post »moriarty70
Posted on October 1, 2010 at 9:00amWhile Seth may be left the show itself points out stupid that exists on both sides. Their favourite targets are the mindless party drones on either side. The kind of people who refuse that there is any value of any kind in the “other” party.
I’m curious though, does this mean Palin is done with Rush? It‘s no secret that she’s no fan of Family Guy and it’s off-handed jokes.

Posted on September 30, 2010 at 11:32pmWell I really think Glenn Beck should have his own Saturday morning cartoon show for kids. With him being the patriotic super hero and having superpatriots hero friends on there like Sarah Palin and Rush and Hannity. It could teach our kids a lot and I would like it myself.

Beck has done all he can with us(tongue firmly in cheek) It is time to entertain the fruit of our loins. The kids get nothing but revisionist splat from the school system. Teach them a few Beck lessons about the founders, the exclusion of the black founders, the depression before the Great Depression, the actual function of government, teach them to question with boldness, honor, charity, fill in the blanks. Beck thinks it is time for a change…..how about being the decent, moral Pee Wee Herman!
