Two Shot in Argument Over How to Make Kool Aid

At least Aaron Burr shot Alexander Hamilton over a legitimate disagreement. This story from WSJB Fox Detroit goes to show that, especially in the modern day, it doesn’t take a lot for two idiots packing heat to do something…well, idiotic. As you’ll see, even the anchor can’t believe it:

Yes, that’s right. Two men shot at each other in an argument over Kool Aid. And not even over something that would at least be understandable, like who got to buy the last batch of the popular drink.

No, they decided to shoot each other over who makes the drink better.

Somehow, we doubt there’s a Kool Aid recipe on earth that calls for bullets.

What makes the story even worse is that, on top of being stupid enough to shoot at each other over Kool Aid, these two men apparently were such terrible shots that they ended up hitting two innocent bystanders and completely missing each other.

And they’re still at large.

This is clearly a job for the Kool Aid man, as represented in this late 1970′s commercial:

    I can’t stand Kool aid, always hated it, rather drink water. I do love my diet pepsi though and now the nanny state marxists are trying to shoot that down. I bet Michele has a plan for us all to drink sugarless Kool aid, think that is what the left has been drinking already, bc none of those Kool aid drinkers seem to be very sweet.

      My son during the last year at college worked part-time as a tech guy for a grocery chain going to the various stores when they had computer issues. He once called me to pick him up at a store because he let his girlfriend use his car.

      Upon arriving I observed a black teen being arrested for shoplifting and asked the manager if that was a common occurrence at that store. He replied that in that neighborhood it was non-stop. During the conversation I asked what the kid was stealing and the manager said the usual, Kool-Aid.

      What?….Kool-Aid?

      The manager said that the number one item shoplifted among blacks at that store was…..Kool-Aid. Something that is like $.20 cents a pack. Go figure. He also said company wide it was an issue…so it seems that for blacks, Kool-Aid is serious ****.

    How come The Blaze never posts about all the embarrassing things rednecks do. Only black people.

    It’s like they want you all to believe the most stereotypical version of black people is everywhere. People that visit this site would probably be surprised to find out there are whole middle-upper class black neighborhoods.

      Because all of the stupid stuff rednecks do is on You Tube. It usually doesn’t involve shooting at each other either. This is Detroit, a Democrat Metropolis of Liberal success, just use Google’s street view and drive around. Missing or busted up sidewalks, boarded up houses, lots that have no homes where they once were. I don’t think this story is about Kool-Aid, it’s about despair.

      The biggest upper-middle class black neighborhoods are in the suburbs around Atlanta.

      And yeah, The Blaze shows a story showing blacks in a negative light every day. I mean, a Koolaid story on the front page, that’s real subtle Blaze. But the redneck who shoots his brother for sleeping with his sister gets no coverage here.

      You all know we see the same things, story after story embarrassing to black people on Te Blaze. They’re are only 12% of the population, but everyday The Blaze pushes these stories like some Stormfront tabloid magazine.

      Two of the recent stories of cannibals involved black guys doing the cannibalism. Is the news not supposed to show their photos? Since when is news supposed to CENSOR who was involved because it is not politically correct?

      It is news because it is so crazy. If it turns out they are crazy ghetto black people…well that is what it is. People like you only want to see the race of the person only if it involves “rednecks”, but cry racism if the idiots are ghetto black people.       There was a recent story in my area of a son who knocked out a EMS when the son called 9-11 to report his mother was having a heart attack. The son was a stupid ghetto black guy…so the media should not have reported that because he was not a “redneck”?

      Sounds like YOU are the racist. You only believe “rednecks” do the stupid things,,when people of all colors do them also. Like shooting someone over Kool aid.

      what? Black People? The story doesn’t mention anything about skin color – but if you want to jump to the conclusion that they are black just because it’s about cool-aid and in Detroit and shooting each other, or in this case, bystanders – go right ahead, it’s a free country.

      You will notice that the kool aid story does not show pics of the peprs, nor does it mention their race, but Johnson feels it wrong to print the story, because he knows the perps top be black.

      A little fact for you Johnson. Blacks make up 12% of the population, and knock down about 50% of the nations murders. Hiding the facts does not make it go away.

      subscribing to the whole “white guilt” thing is partly how we ended up with the current dud round as a president.

      Johnson – Take a little clue from the good black folks of America “Keep it real”. Notice they did not say “Keep it PC”

      and by the way, if one story a day shows black crimes in America, then it is only about one in 20 storeis on the blaze. I think they are slacking in showing the truth.

      The stereotypes are everywhere…That is why they are stereotypes. There are plenty of Black people that don’t fit the mold, are fine upstanding people. But, unfortunately for everybody, the majority of Blacks have a lot of progress to make, before they will become civilized. Red necks are made fun of by the majority of whites for their backwards/inbred ways. The statistics don’t lie. Look up neighborhoods using the census data. Where ever there are population clusters of black or mexicans, the neighborhoods are trashed and the crime is high. It is sad, but it is fact. The only ones that can change that is the blacks themselves. Detroit is the ultimate dump and best example of Liberal failure. This the future of America if the big government trends are not reversed.

      You have to admit is a story no matter the color of the person who did it. I can understand pride in making the best Cool-aid, and wanting to do an excellent job in all that you do…. But to kill someone over that is NUTS!

      I assume that you are Black, but I know you are hyper sensitive! If you are Black then this story is no more reflection on you that Hitler is for a White Person or Pol Pot is on a Cambodian.

      You have been brainwashed into believing you are a victim, and that all Blacks are victims. That mentality will hold you back from being all you can be, and that God created you to be.
      To assume that showing a White person this story that it would make them say that “ All Blacks are the same” is crazy! For the people that think that way are either ignorant in the first place and there is little hope for them, or they live in Outer Whitelandia, and see only news stories about shootings in the inner city. But that alone does not make a person a racist, you will find that it is usually thought by their parents.
      I am sure that Thomas Sowell and Walter Williams are probably the most respected writers and columnist, conservatism and on the economy and in our nation today among The Blaze readers. Not because they are Black, but because they are brilliant and virtually unmatched today among “Conservative Think Tanks” .

    Ok, seriously, they are trying to say that this was because guns are too easy to get? I’ve had multiple guns for several decades and have never even thought of shooting someone for any reason, and certainly not for demeaning my Kool-aid making skills.

    Besides, Kool aid is stupidly easy to make. How could someone make it better? I stir the mix into the water better than you? I measure the sugar more accurately? I hold my lips at a better angle while stirring the Kool-aid? Seriously, this is like arguing that I pour a better bowl of cereal!

    Come on the blood bath that was started by the McCoy s because he didn’t like Mr. Hatfield deserting the Confederate Army when he knew it was all but over and the Confederates would be dismantled. Just ridiculous!

    Yes this post was inspired by the History Channel/Kevin Costner production that just aired. Made me revisit my History class. There was alot more information, but everything I remember from HS was in this story.
