We must pray for the lost leaders as well, that GOD HIMSELF, will clear their eyes, hearts and minds and restore their souls.

In other words, it was mostly staged, of course. We all know the president can’t stand anything less than the adulation he thinks he deserves.

He has implied he wants want to secede from the Union, and brags about how independent Texas is, while begging for federal government dollars for the fires. Texas is one of those states that are solvent only because of money received from the US government, which Perry disparages as a matter of routine. He’s biting the hand that feeds him and helps keep in office. Texas needs money to help with the fires, but when you spit in the face of the President of the United States, and use that spitting as a way to hold onto votes, what can you possibly expect in return?
