U.K. Judge Tells Teacher Sex Offender: I Dont Criticize You for Being Attracted to Children 4,500 pornographic images two year old children

Well this is abhorrent to say the least. A school teacher who escaped jail with a suspended sentence after owning up to possessing literally 4,500 pornographic images, some of children as young as two years old, was told by his presiding judge that she did not criticize him “for being a teacher who’s attracted to children.”

63-year old substitute teacher David Armstrong was reportedly caught after a colleague noticed files on Armstrong’s laptop with names such as “rape wife,” “nude model” and “gay alligator.” Disturbed by the obviously deviant behavior that was at play, the teaching assistant immediately reported Armstrong to the police.

But it gets worse.

After finding a shocking 4,500 indecent images and videos on two laptops and an external hard drive, police arrested Armstrong. What is perhaps most repugnant, is that more than 300 of the images were reportedly of the “worst kind,” some involving children as young as two.

But despite the damning evidence, Armstrong was somehow allowed to walk free, after Judge Mary Jane Mowat reportedly told him, “I don‘t criticise you for being a teacher who’s attracted to children.”

“Many teachers are but they keep their urges under control both when it comes to children and when it comes to images of children,” the judge reportedly told Armstrong.

As if she were condoning Armstrong‘s urges while commending other deviants who just haven’t managed to get caught yet.

Needless to say child abuse advocates are reportedly enraged by the judge’s wildly inappropriate comments — comments that have been cited as an “insult” to child victims.

Teachers were also reportedly up-in-arms over the judges outrageous comments, saying the incident cast a shadow over the teaching profession while sending the wrong message to pedophiles. The Telegraph reports:

Peter Bradley, deputy director of the children’s charity Kidscape, said: “Children who have been sexually abused would be horrified to read this judges remarks.

“Schools are not places where those attracted to children can work – schools are there to provide learning in a safe environment where children know the people who look after them can be trusted and relied upon.

“This teacher should not have been in the profession and it is outrageous for the judge to say many teachers are sexually attracted to children.

“The message needs to be clear – if you are sexually attracted to children then you don’t work with them.”

Christine Blower, General Secretary of the National Union of Teachers, said: “Teachers are professionals whose interest is ensuring children and young people achieve their educational potential.

“To suggest their interest in pupils could understandably be anything else is totally unacceptable.”

Jayne Phillips, Senior Legal Advocate at the Association of Teachers and Lecturers, added: “It is a very worrying message to send out.

“The judge’s comments do not reflect our knowledge of the UK’s teaching staff – they would be appalled by the suggestion that they are in anyway attracted to children.”

According to Telegraph, Armstrong confessed to five charges of making pornographic photos of children between 2007 and 2010. Some, however, were reportedly not of real children but were instead Japanese animations of children engaged in sex scenes.

But even though Judge Mowat admitted that Armstrong’s “was by any standards a substantial collection, with some 300 of the worst kind,” she only handed the sexual deviant a 12-month prison sentence, suspended for two years.

It might not come as shock then, that this is not the first time Judge Mowat has caused controversy over sentencing sex-offenders:

In 2008, she allowed former headmaster Phillip Carmichael to walk free from court after accepting that medication for Parkinson’s disease had turned him into a paedophile.

Sentencing a bus driver to ten-months in jail in 2006 for abusing a 12-year-old girl, the judge acknowledged that she felt “obliged” to lock him up because of “current views about sentences”.

“I have a record of trying to suspend sentences in cases like this and them ending up in the Court of Appeal,” she told Robert Prout, following a public outcry over the brevity of prison sentences for sex offenders.

Perhaps it is the judge who should be the one on trial over perpetuating such gross injustices. Why no one has investigated her or taken action to suspend her from the bench is still unclear.

While no real justice has been served, at the very least Armstrong has now been placed on the registered sex offenders list for ten years and has reportedly been banned by the court from owning a computer or other device capable of connecting to the internet. In addition, Telegraph reports that the sex-offender was ordered to undergo psychiatric treatment for his attraction to children and will allegedly never be allowed to work with children again.

Disturbingly, Armstrong had reportedly worked at many schools and colleges during his career.

      Her “comments” aren’t the problem—it’s her thought process. Usually when people claim that “comments are troubling” a ridiculous rewording and “out of context” excuse ensues. This judge is enabling sex offenders and condoning them—considering her position, that is as good as being an accessory to the crime. As she is the only one who stands between him and a lengthy sentence to protect other children, she is guilty. Add that to the precedent she sets, and apparently, she has done this MORE than once, and you have to question her motives. Is she herself a pedophile? Either way—she is aiding in the crimes.

      Another example would be the Mt. Laurel, NJ decisions from the 1970′s. Those decisions forced Mt. Laurel to include ‘affordable’ housing as part of any future development. So, instead of people getting an education and working their way to be able to live in ‘better’ conditions, others who had already done so would have to have as neighbors people from gov. housing projects. It currently stands at 15% in NJ. Great, huh? Kiss your property value good-bye!

      So, the question is….what will be the trigger to stop nonsense like we see from the bench. Will someone who has had enough take matters into his/her own hands? My quess is that it will happen. It’s just a matter of when.

      Thomas is exactly right. Homosexuality is a sexual perversion. It does not matter how many of the brainwashed masses have been twisted and conditioned to think otherwise. Anyone with a healthy and just soul knows this instinctively. Does that mean homosexuals should be ‘punished’ or prevented from living their lifestyle? I don’t think so, because it is between consenting adults and what is behind closed doors is their business. But like many other descents into evil, it is a slippery slope…and pedophelia and other terrible crimes are not far behind. And as everyone knows, many homosexuals are not content to just live in privacy, they feel the need to ‘shove it down our throats’, teach it to our children, and demand that their deviancy be not only tolerated, but celebrated.

      The judge should be tarred and feathered.

      Thomas I tend to agree with you… Once you let any kind of perversion in, it tends to fester. Anybody knows with a normal mind knows that homosexuality is wrong. It’s perversion, period. In 30 years it went from unaceptable to being a legal act of law. That’s what you have with this case. The more cases you have the more It’s acepted. Example… I went over to my ex wifes house the other week and saw her doughter 13 years old from another father kissing another girl laying on the couch in there house. When i asked there mother what was going on she said oh It’s legal now. It’s what allot of them do… You see it on TV. I haven’t been back since. I never realized my ex was such a liberal nut case. She must have been keeping it from me.. That’s how liberals think. If it feels good its ok because i am liberal free and the coruption gets passed on through out people like a disease.

      I think what the person is refering to is homosexuality is devient, not the norm and neither is pedophilia. A lot of pedophiles prey on the same sex. It’s just like MAMBLA or whatever that group is that promotes man boy love. I admit MOST homosexuals are not. I don’t have a problem with gays that have long lasting relationships, though I believe it to be wrong. That’s between them and God, but I have a bad experience of a lesbian in the Navy telling me she would rather bend straight women than date other gays. That’s their militant attitude.

      Brotherwill…I consider myself a conservative libertarian, and the two are not mutually exclusive. There is no true ‘liberty’ to do whatever one wants, because respect for others‘ and God’ rights must be present for any society to be truly libertarian.

      I draw the line for society, but not for God. In other words, if it does not directly harm anyone else, I believe people should be able to do what they want. God will judge us all in the end.

      It could be argued that homosexuality, prostitution, hard drugs, etc. DO harm society at large, and of course this is true. But morality cannot be legislated, and the effort to do so only leads to strains of theocracy. And then you have men, not God, telling people what is right, and what is wrong…with the force of law and all manner of selfish schemings behind their decisions.

      Thomas, I agree with you, but the blame for the fall of Western Christian culture started with the heterosexuals. A lot of the people claiming marriage is sacred did not treat it that way themselves. They did not wait until they got married, they had multiple sex partners before marriage, they commit adultery within marriage, they divorce and remarry multiple times, and they promote the pornography industry. It is hypocritical for hetereosexuals, to rigorously enforce Biblical injunctions on others and be tolerant and accepting of flagrant violations of Biblical injunctions applying to people like yourself.
      The truth is all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Repent for your own sins, then you can be in position to help others who have gone astray.

      If a person has gotten past the fact that it is perverted and sick to have homosexual sex, then it‘s not a great leap for them to move on to something else in the sexual realm that’s just as perverted and sick.     Casting aside all arguments about children not being able to consent to sexual relationships due to age, this is what I believe will happen in our own country. Why? Because the definition of marriage, of gender, and of other terms that have undergirded our society are being regarded as irrelevant, outdated, or “unconstitutional.” Why should people who are sexually attracted to children be ostracized? Surely they, like others who have sexual preferences that until recently have been regarded as unacceptable, deserve the same consideration and esteem for having such orientations hardwired into their DNA. Like was said by Steve Simon, D-MN, “How many more [pedophiles] does God have to create before we ask ourselves whether God actually wants them around?”

    Maybe because not all appetites are healthy, or good for us, or beneficial to ourselves, our families, or our societies. Maybe because certain preferences, inclinations, or urges are not right. Regardless of whether the object of this man’s affection can legally return his feelings, there are certain behaviors that just are not right. I don’t really care if I am deemed a bigot for thinking so – that guy is a pervert, and the judge is depraved.

      Why can’t the government shut down these sites where people find these images?Do they purposely leave them there?The government needs to set up a site where individuals can cut and paste the url’s of these sites so the govenment can shut-down and prosecute the owners of these sites…I only hear stories of individuals being caught with images on their computer.I never hear any stories of these sites where they get their images being shut-down

    Why are these perverted judges allowed to make such rulings ? She and others like her should be removed from the bench. It makes me ill ! What is going on with our world today ?     Well Im glad conservatives just hate children. Cuase if I was a lefty I would have to watch kiddie porn or just be cool with it. So while we fat cats eat all their food and make live in the streets you leftys take them in and feature them in film. You sick SOB! Give me 5 minutes with him and you wont have spend money jailing him cuase I’ll rehabillitate the hell of him! That judge should step down and pursue her true calling of ambulance chaser and $200 divorce lawyer.

How about sex between siblings, or between parent and child? Casting away moral judgements, there are scientific reasons why child and parent, or brother and sister should not mate.

      What is making it more exceptable is the muslim being allowed 2 have sex with children, they can aparantly wed a baby and its okay..cause muhamad did it…and now were letting these sick indivisuals into our western countries.and some our saying well maybe it isnt that bad if the muslims are such a peaceful, kind caring, people…how can it be wrong to have sex with children…cause muslim are so religeuos and pray five times a day, and have I mentioned peaceful(J/K)….I just wonder how long everyone thinks it will take before muslims are allowed to have sex with children in western countries (if there not all ready) be cause its apart of the muslim religeon 2 be able 2 molest children??
      I truly hope the end is near..if not for MY sake for the sake of the children in the (near) future…

    Should we be surprised that this is where the tolerance of sexual perversion leads?

    This insidious obsession with childlike bodies is encroaching and we don’t even notice. Aren’t models looking more and more prepubescent– like knubby-kneed kids? They don’t even look like women anymore.

    Men should look like men, and women should be proud of their curves instead of starving themselves into looking like 6 year old pageant contestants.

    Can a judge be impeached for such gross miscarriages of the oath of office? Clearly we have laws which this judge is willingly NOT supporting even in verbiage. I wonder if this JUDGE is one with “urges” for children because these are not the comments of a normal person. Two year olds are not sexual beings and those sexually attracted to them are clearly evil who rob children of more than we can calculate. HOW DARE THIS JUDGE KEEP HER JOB! What can we do…Someone out there out her contact info and let’s find out who is above her. Clearly she NEEDS THERAPY. Meanwhile she is allowing dangerous preditors to feel as if their “urges” are normal. It cannot be ignored. IT is INFURIATING!!!
