U.K. Party Leader Admits ‘I am a Socialist’ While Pledging Loyalty to Unions

U.K. Party Leader Admits I am a Socialist While Pledging Loyalty to Unions

British Labor Party leader Ed Miliband took a cue from MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell Saturday when he admitted that he is undoubtedly a socialist. Not only is he proud of it, but he also said he was tempted to join the recent student tuition protest and professed his unabashed support for the unions.

“Yeah, I am a socialist,” Miliband told the BBC over the weekend according to London’s Daily Mail, “and I’m not embarrassed about it.”

After clarifying that he doesn’t want “public ownership of everything” (like his father did) he explained that his socialism is based on “social justice”: “There are big unfarinesses in our society, and part of the job of government is to bring about social justice and to tackle those unfairnesses.”

As the BBC notes, Miliband comes from a family of socialists. His father was a “proud Marxist” while his mother was an “activist”:

That history may be what prompted him to admit he was tempted to join the recent student protests against tuition hikes.

“I was quite tempted to go out and talk to them,” Miliband said. “I applaud young people who peacefully demonstrate.” When asked why he didn’t join, Miliband recalled, “I was doing something else at the time.”

The Daily Mail was quick to point out that 35 were arrested and seven police were injured in the latest round of student protests on Wednesday. Miliband’s aids were equally quick to do damage control, saying that the Labor Party leader did not plan on attending any future protests.

Miliband and his staff, however, didn’t backtrack on another controversial statement. According to the Daily Mail, Miliband refused calls to rein in the influence of the unions, which helped him win his leadership spot. “I don’t want to take them out of the Labour Party’s decision making,” he said, “because, actually, that will make us more disconnected as a party.”

As one British analyst said, “Here, he makes clear he will do nothing to upset his paymasters.”

The comments came amid financial trouble for the country and as Miliband tried to define his party’s goals and audience. After he labeled that audience as the “squeezed middle” and went on to describe 90 percent of the country’s population, he said he meant no one who receives benefits or gets six-figure salaries.

Start calling these socialist what they really are…thieves. They want to steal from by taxing you for their own agenda, they want to take any ownership that you could have away from you, they want to force you into debt so that they control you and your children, they do not create anything, they want to take your wealth, your self worth, your prosperity, for their own use, and give you the left over scraps. They are thieves, robbers, liars, and should be treated as such.

It‘s easy to point out to everyone that you’re a Socialist when everything you have and earned was done through a capitalistic democratic environment. Funny how these “Socialists” can walk down to any store, pull out a few dollars and buy just about anything they need if they have earned enough money to do so. Let these idiots give up everything they have, pull up and go live in a real Socialistic society and see how long they spew this garbage out of their pie holes.

They know they are in a socialist/communist organization.
But what da hey. As long as their marxist bosses brings them the bacon, they could not give a rat’s arse what is happening to the country.
Note I said many, not all.
Many US union members think that Greece, Ireland,Spain and Portugal won’t or cannot happen here.
The teachers union make sure the chirrens/chilluns are taught Ignorance 101, then they pass them off to socialist/communist profs. at the institutes of higher learning, er ignorance, er Indoctrination..
How’s those under-funded (raided) union pensions plans doing nationwide?
Not to worry, the little peoples will cover it.The marxist party (aka dem party)will see to IT.

There’s a medical explanation for those that live with one foot within reality and one beyond the perimeter . . .

When individuals have both feet planted outside the boundaries of reality and then choose to do harm to their own selves, that’s one matter. When they step back into reality and walk among us and aspire to inflict pain and lasting agony on the world around them for the benefits of their own spirit, to satisfy their own twisted subjugated intellects with the capacity to employ the means to carry it all out, there’s a psychological criminal element that needs to be applied . . . that it’s a travesty if a society at large fails to administer the aide that these sick individuals need. Simply it’s a crime against all of those affected by the destructive acts to mankind that they engage in.

This basic principle of Samaritanism holds true for liberalism here in the US as well and where ever it is found.

Clearly then, it is our obligation to mankind to wipe the disease out.

He “applauds young people who peacefully demonstrate”. I watched the demonstrations quite closely–nothing remotely peaceful about them, just the same immature, violent thugs who want what they want when they want it, or fits ensue. His admiration is just another indication of the disconnect between social justice and reality. Even my toddlers knew better than to try this. But then, they weren’t raised on the warped sense of entitlement inherent in “social justice” proponents.

I wish that union folks would wake up here and see what is happening on the backs of their hard work. As a former union member, I do not believe that many of the members realize how much of their dues goes to support political campaigns that probably themselves do not agree with.

It’s time for the American public to wake up and see what is truly happening and how their hard earned dollars are really being spent.

They get to keep their cadillac health care plans, so what if their goon bosses have raided their retirement plans, the marxist party (aka dem party) will make sure the rest of the little peoples who don’t have as good retirement plans or health care plans will make sure will pay for their underfunded pensions anyway.

The network of communists (erh socialists who want “social justice” {take from those that work and give to those that don’t} has grown dramatically in an era when we thought we had destroyed communism. Seems they played dead, drew praises for having given up while those fifth column communists in our western countries have changed suits and gone legit as college professors, responsible union leaders, secretaries of state, prime ministers and presidents. Once at the bottom throwing bombs and breaking heads, they are now at the top, well placed and spewing messages of fairness that are nothing more than the usual one world government run by the masses who are run by a communist cell run by a ruthless dictator who will assume the role of chief spreader of fairness. But now, they come out smiling telling us they are unashamed of being a member of a group that has killed hundreds of millions under the guise of fairness and sharing. Here, there, everywhere….

Well there is the problem why bother to try when you can sit and wait for someone to hand it to you?? Gee I couldn’t afford a education, or even now that I am unemployed I would love to go to school but since we make to much money and I would have to pay for it I am unable to since we are just making the bills even though we don’t live anywhere near a lavish lifestyle.. I know someone who has gone from welfare to a job for a few years, than to living off her kids working a cash job where she now lives and applied for loans and grants to go to school (which she is currently doing) and getting about 1K a month plus money from her cash job, while she tries to collect SSI.. saying shes to sick to work..she went back this semester just to get enough money from her grants and loans to buy a car.. I am not sure if they can take the money for student loans out of her SSI check should she get it.. or if she just plans on NOT paying them..For years those who clam to be poor have been getting over on the government..now our kids are watching the U.K. and other countries pull this SOCIAL JUSTICE crap..they have had their SOCIAL JUSTICE.. NOW it’s time for EQUAL JUSTICE for a change and the working taxpayers ALL OF THEM with and without kids.. get justice..

Social justice. We already have social justice. If you work, you get paid. If you don‘t work you don’t get paid. If your good at what you do you get paid a lot. If your not so good you get paid a litte. Why do they think it’s “justice” for the unions and govt to protect the lazy and inept by taking from hard working producers. If you want to make a difference, when the opportunity arises, point out that injustice to any union members you know.

These are possibly 5 of the best sentences you’ll ever read:

1 You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.

2 What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.

3 The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.

4 When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

5 You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
