U.N. Approves Iranian ‘Disaster Info Management Center,‘ Despite Experts’ Ballistic Fears

U.N. Approves Iranian Disaster Info Management Center, Despite Experts Ballistic FearsThe same international body that released a report showcasing Iran‘s penchant for sending weapons to violent terrorists recently approved an Iranian proposal that some experts fear could boost the nation’s ballistic capabilities.

According to FOX News, the United Nations, in the midst of using sanctions to block Iran’s nuclear weapons program, is supporting the Islamic Republic’s proposal to construct a “disaster information management center.” This move is a blow to the United States, which has successfully prevented such a move since the nation first proposed it back in 2006:

As if to underscore its victory, Iran this week announced that it had launched its own observation satellite, Rassad-1, which will remain in orbit for the next two months.

The decision to approve the Iran proposal was taken without a vote on May 25 by the U.N. Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), the self-described “regional development arm of the United Nations for the Asia-Pacific region.”

Interestingly, ESCAP very quietly passed the resolution and declined to include the new center in a press release following the May meeting. FOX quotes Elliot Abrams, a former national security advisor to George W. Bush:

“It’s outrageous that a country that has been denounced repeatedly by the U.N. Security Council and the International Atomic Energy Agency should be rewarded in this fashion.”

Iran’s proposal claims that the center would assist in warning the government about “impending calamities,” provide a mechanism for data collection and assist in analyzing disaster recovery. While the nation insists that this new system is needed to fill disaster management “gaps,” some experts fear that the technology and satellite capabilities could better equip the nation to refine and utilize ballistic missiles. You can read the U.N. resolution here.

Iran continues to insist that its nuclear programs are being conducted for peaceful purposes. Below, watch Iran Today‘s attempt at defending the nation’s stance, while diminishing the West’s concerns:

This like giving a machine gun or bomb to suicidal psyco bent on killing as many as he can; seems every time I read about UN resolutions etc they are sickening bad; in my opinion this is encouraging nuclear disaster.

    It is time, people.

It is time to withdraw our membership in the United Nations. It is time for us to evict the United Nations from American soil.

And because I believe, like President Bush believed on 9/12/2001, that we should make no distinction between the terrorists, and those who harbor them. In other words, we should treat the United Nations like a terrorist organization, no different than Hezbollah or Hamas, or Al Qaida or the D.N.C.

Less than two weeks ago, Rand Corp released a report indicating that Iran is just 8 WEEKS from having enough enriched uranium for its first nuclear warhead. That means that buy the first week in August THIS YEAR, Iran will be able to assemble its first nuclear weapon.

Armageddon is coming. Plan and prepare accordingly!

Iran will use its sattilites to deliver an EMP weapon, which will consist of dumping plutonium from low earth orbit over the USA. They do not need a warhead!

Screw the U.N. How can a one-worlder organization tell a sovereign nation such as Iran what it can and cannot do?

Is it any different that the U.N. telling us, America, what to do?

Here is how we should handle it: Disband the U.N. Tell Iran that if they continue with the nuclear program, that we will wipe them off the face of the planet. If they continue.. then turn Iran, and any other country that supports them, into a sea of glass.

I believe in results.. and what Teddy said: “Walk softly, and carry a big stick.” What good is that big stick if you don’t use it?

    question…
    * sulfur is very abundant source of energy. hydrogen sulfide is another abundant source of energy. for some reason… we ignore sulfur completely as a fuel. they have used sulfur in ancient greece and rome. it died with rome… why? we just mainly use it for fertilizer, match heads and black powder… why? why are we not using it as fuel?

Iran’s nuclear site is way more advanced than we first thought also under the UN watch .
North Koreans are not only improving their nuclear capabilities they’re helping & supporting Iran & Syria with their nuclear technology with the approval of Russia & China & again under the UN watch .

The U.N. hs always been a foolish idea. Why, less than a century after we fought a bloody civil war over the issue of slavery, did we think free nations could have any unity with tyranical states?

We should instead form a Union of Free Nations, establish criteria for belonging like political economic and religious freedom, and use that forum to argue about what that freedom means and how to defend it.

No, we should have listened to what GOD said about covenants with other nations…..our presidents did not and now we are being brought under UN rules for their utopia.
Exodus 23:32 Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.
Deuteronomy 7:2 And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:

So now we will wonder, what will the UN say when the first ballistic device from an Iranian missile slams home onto the area of the UN along with many other cities of the US and Israel? What will they say when their building superheats up to one million degrees in the space of one-tenth of a second?

Supply the moving vans and planes and move the whole kit and kaboodle to Iran. One benefit would be that the Secretary for Alien Communication would finally have some real work to do. Also there is a LOT of sand in the deserts of Iran so the members of the UN would have no problem finding a place to stick their heads further and further into the ground.
