Helen, people do not mind a good CLEAN debate on any topic including Israel. What is offensive is a discussion of hate which is what you and your Left elites choose to do. Israel is a friend and should be treated as such. This does not mean that Israel is always right but when you go anti-semitic, with mean hateful words, which you often do, then yes, that discussion is off the table.

Senile? Probably. Anti-semitic? Racist? Certanly. But one has to look no furthur than who she currently works for. The Falls Church News-Press, or as I refered to it when I lived in Falls Church, the Falls Church Toilet-Paper. Owned by Nick Benton, who, prior to starting his useless rag about twenty years ago, was Press Secretary to Lyndon Larouche. Extreme left wing waco nutcase.

She is speaking out of both sides of her mouth. Talking about God not being on our side. Then talk about the Jews being in occupied lands. She thinks that Palestine still exists. They were conquered centuries ago. If she feels that way then she needs to leave America. Because her ancestors came over here and took the land that she lives on from someone. So there the logic lies. She can’t have it both ways. She knows nothing about God, because if she did then she wouldn’t be saying the things that are coming out of her mouth.

Palestine was the name that the Romans gave to the area called Israel when they decided to attempt to wipe Israel off the map back in AD 70.
Palestine is the name of the region! It has never been a nation or kingdom. Just do a little research and you will find the truth.

    “With God On Our Side”

Oh my name it is nothin’
    My age it means less
    The country I come from
    Is called the Midwest
I’s taught and brought up there
    The laws to abide
And the land that I live in
    Has God on its side.

Oh the history books tell it
    They tell it so well
    The cavalries charged
    The Indians fell
    The cavalries charged
    The Indians died
    Oh the country was young
    With God on its side.

    The Spanish-American
    War had its day
    And the Civil War too
    Was soon laid away
And the names of the heroes
    I’s made to memorize
    With guns on their hands
    And God on their side.

    The First World War, boys
    It came and it went
    The reason for fighting
    I never did get
But I learned to accept it
    Accept it with pride
For you don’t count the dead
    When God’s on your side.

    When the Second World War
    Came to an end
    We forgave the Germans
    And then we were friends
    Though they murdered six million
    In the ovens they fried
    The Germans now too
    Have God on their side.

    I’ve learned to hate Russians
    All through my whole life
    If another war comes
    It’s them we must fight
To hate them and fear them
    To run and to hide
    And accept it all bravely
    With God on my side.

    But now we got weapons
    Of the chemical dust
If fire them we’re forced to
    Then fire them we must
    One push of the button
And a shot the world wide
    And you never ask questions
    When God’s on your side.

    In a many dark hour
    I‘ve been thinkin’ about this
    That Jesus Christ
    Was betrayed by a kiss
But I can’t think for you
    You’ll have to decide
    Whether Judas Iscariot
    Had God on his side.

    So now as I‘m leavin’
    I’m weary as Hell
    The confusion I‘m feelin’
    Ain’t no tongue can tell
    The words fill my head
    And fall to the floor
    If God’s on our side
    He’ll stop the next war.

    by Bob Dylan :-)

      Bluebonnet,
America was founded on belief in God. OK, that may have been the case in 1776, but now most people identify the true God as “God”. The title does not accurately identify him and separate him from allah, who is called “God” also. The ancient Israelites knew their God by His name, not just His title. The United States in the beginning considered the true God to be Jehovah God. Now, most people do not use God’s name and prefer to have a nameless God to worship.
It is strange that everyone knows God’s name, but will not use it. Strange isn’t it?

      That scripture is John 1:1
Please notice that it says “and the Word was WITH God” and “was in the beginning WITH God”
The Word, was indeed made flesh and dwelt among us (Jesus).
But, you have to know Jesus is God’s Son, and he was WITH God in the beginning.
      See John 1:14,18

Ok whitefang, you may be more well versed than I am, but I do know what I read and believe. Too many don’t catch the meaning about this, but to me it’s so clear and I actually had a vision that explained it to me. I don’t know why people have problems with 1st verse of John. It clearly says: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Sounds like Jesus was the Word and that Word was God to me. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen., We see through the glass, darkly.

OK, Whitefang: Many verses say this but the clearest is 1John 5:7 which says: For there are three that bear record in heaven. The Father, the Word and the Holy Ghost, and these three are ONE.
Is this clear enough? I was praying to understand what this meant when all of a sudden the vision of
three white doves came down from above and a single white dove sat on my head. To me, this was an answer to my prayer for understanding, the vision was totally clear to me. Another verse, John 10:30, red lettered meaning it’s Jesus speaking, says: I and my Father are ONE. many others.

In 1905 came an extension of special relativity in which Einstein proved that energy and matter are linked in the most famous relationship in physics:
E=mc2.   (The energy content of a body is equal to the mass of the body times the speed of light squared).
This equation predicted an evolution of energy roughly a million times more efficient than that obtained by ordinary physiochemical means. At first, even Einstein did not grasp the full implications of his formula, but even then he suggested that the heat produced by radium could mark the conversion of tiny amounts of the mass of the radium salts into energy.
His theory of relativity shows that energy and mass are the same thing, and that neither one appears without the other.
The law of conservation of energy is an empirical law of physics. It states that the total amount of energy in an isolated system remains constant over time (is said to be conserved over time). A consequence of this law is that energy can neither be created or destroyed: Which is more likely? Energy came from God or maybe from… Obama?

Obviously, you haven’t studied the worlds religions. WHICH “God” do you believe in? The Jewish God? The Christian God? The Muslim God? The Gods of Hinduism?…etc.
And PLEASE don’t say the Monotheistic God of Western civilizations is the same God. Will a Jew say the God of Christianity is the same God? Will a Christian say the God of Islam is the same God? Nope.
Fact is, any believer of any faith is an ATHEIST 99% of the time. The only God they believe in is the God of their own religion. So using your own logic, they are nearly in the same boat as atheists.

Who IS this woman and why should we listen to her? If you appearance assumes the character of your soul, as you get older, how can one assume she is anything but a witch?

This is NOT meant to be an ad-hominen attack but merely an observation. Thomas is CLUELESS (or worse) regarding the authentic history of the Middle East. If it weren’t for Mesopotamia and its laws (where Judaism comes from), there would be no United States Constitution.

This historic interview on Israel National Radio explains all. Be sure to click on the “Finding Noah” link from the interview page and see the research which shines light on ancient archeology and how to interpret it.

I love the way the Blaze proved my point about the censorship that goes on in this country over Israel. They pulled down my post, but forgot to pull down the posts that went up in reponse to it. So it is obvious that they are censoring. Nice. Way to reveal a lack of intelligence and tolerance in one felled swoop. Well done! But thanks for proving my point that you cannot make comments concerning policies of a country without having the other side claim you are being a racist. This strategy of censorship and race-baiting is not sustainable, although it obviously still has legs at the Blaze…

Glenn Beck is a coward and so are the minions operating his blog. He is afraid of smart liberals, and it is common knowledge. Jon Stewart makes fun of him all the time, contrasting his fear with O‘Reilly’s willingness to mix it up with intelligent progressives. People who love Beck don’t care largely because they are impervious to truth, facts and reality. Watching him lose a debate to a smart liberal wouldn’t change their mind, but would embarrass Beck, which is why he studiously avoids it. But the censoring on the Israel topic goes way beyond Beck and it is truly a travesty.

If God had a hand in the founding of this nation, He must have had reasons for this nation to exist. What were those reasons? Analysis of history suggests that God had at least four (4) reasons to cause the establishment of the United States by and through Christians.
The first reason was to provide a forum and a sanctuary in which the Gospel could be preached openly and where Christians live as God intended. This is always primary.
The second reason God established the United States to restrain the threats to the world in the twentieth century.
The THIRD REASON the United States exists as a strong and wealthy nation in this century, along with Canada, is to serve as a bastion from which the Gospel is communicated to the world. Without the occurrence of the first two reasons, this reason would be virtually impossible on a large scale.
The FOURTH REASON this nation exists is to be an instrument by which Israel is reestablished and protected during the Twentieth Century.
The evidence is clear, Israel could not exist as a nation without the military and economic support of the United States. If God prophesied that Israel would again become a nation so that God could fulfill His promises to the Jews, and if Israel could not have become a nation and could not continue to exist without the United States Government’s annual contributions, the obvious conclusion is that God has used the United States to accomplish his task of reestablishing Israel.
Each of these four reasons that our nation exists points to THE CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLE THAT YOU AND I HAVE WORTH. He wants a personal relationship with you and with me. They help demonstrate that God cares for the individual. God showed us our value by dying for us and rising from the dead for us. JESUS DIDN’T LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR A NATION, NOT EVEN ISRAEL. But He uses nations as vehicles to accomplish His tasks. He wants a personal relationship with you and me so much, that he has promoted the existence of at least two nations, now intertwined, to accomplish his plan of salvation, and this is one of them. Through the United States of America, a forum is provided to disseminate God’s love for the individual, His plan of salvation that saves and that continues to develop a personal relationship with each individual who accepts Christ’s gift of eternal life.
We must not permit progressive revisionists to steal our Christian heritage by rewriting history. We, who are Christians, must remember that our role as Christian Americans, blessed by God to be a blessing, is to present the Gospel of saving grace within our nation and outside it and to live as He wants us too. While we may be dissatisfied with the moral decadence so prevalent within our nation, we must remember that during the dark days of Israel’s spiritual decadency, God always had a remnant with whom he had a relationship.

Prophetic Times: White House using technology to bypass First Amendment

The First Amendment to the US Constitution reads: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” These words are often described as the central protection to a free republic. The combination of government policies, the advancement of technology, and the exploitation of technolgy is well on the way to undermining the guardian of truth and free expression as commanded by the First Amendment. An example is a curious attack on the First Amendment free speech clause from the White House.

The White House has exploited expertly the free speech indigenous to the internet. ABC News claims that the White House in doing so is limiting free speech. For example, ABC says the signing of the recent START treaty with Russia and the Post-State of the Union cabinet meeting were closed to the news media, instead posting them on the web. ABC says the White House, by utilizing its internet juggernaut to promote its views in a news format, bypassed the traditional filter of critical review and coverage by the news media. In essence, ABC says the White House and is reporting its own political spin through its online assets while restricting the news media.

In this case, the policies of the White House are heading toward a state controlled media. White House spokesman Josh Earnest indicates there is a White House this is definitely a White House strategy, but he couches it in words characterizing service to citizens: “We‘re striving to not just have a passive website where people can read about what’s happening but create a method of interaction and feedback.” This approach is in line with Bible prophecy. Daniel 12:4 says that in the end times, “many shall run to and fro and knowledge shall increase.” 2 Timothy 3:7 says that men in the last days will be “Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

Knowledge, truth and freedom are inextricably tied together. Jesus said in John 8:31, 32, “If you continue in my word, then you are my disciples indeed; And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Galatians 5:1 says, “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.” The Biblical principles of knowledge of God, His truth, and freedom are set forth in the First Amendment. But we know that in the end times, technology will advance so fast that truth will be hard to ascertain. Technology will be used to withhold the truth and cause deception. We must be ever vigilant to remain spiritually and physically free by discerning and demanding truth.

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!
