‘Ugly Betty’ Actor Decapitates Mother With ‘Samaurai’ Sword

Michael Brea is a New York City actor who has appeared on “Ugly Betty” and had a small role in the movie “Step Up: 3D.” Last night he began chasing his mother around their Brooklyn home shouting, “Repent, repent, repent.” Gothamist:

55-year-old Yannick, Brea’s mother, was pronounced dead on the scene, her body hacked, stabbed and decapitated in another room. Brea, 31, was reportedly violent toward police and had to be subdued with a taser. One neighbor said, “I had just dozed off to go to sleep and then I woke up to somebody screaming. It sounded like lady‘s voice and after I while I just didn’t hear the woman’s voice again.”

    I‘m surprised the neighbor didn’t say, “Yo, I heard what sounded like a struggle or someone being attacked, so I was laying there just hoping he’d hurry and kill the screaming woman so I could get back to sleep.”

      Dan here. Spoke to his mom a few days before. She demanded he move out of the basement , and move into the Section 8 housing with 13th. Enraged he took his bicycle out to the Samuri Sword Store and peddled home.still fuming When he got home his mom said I don’t care if you sponge off 13th or go to Boston to shack up with Aunt Petuti. Thats when he lost it.

      My friend Dan Foster has been a partner with the Shariah Support fund here in the greater Elkhart area for a few months now and he says this is a clear example of Americas racial bias towards the Muslims in this country. We need to be more tollerant and accepting of other religons and stop calling this a melting pot society if we can’t let Sharia law be excercised here!!!!!!!!!!! Wake Up!

Gangs in N.Y. manufacture their own guns (Zip Guns) despite the laws and prisoners fashion their own knives (Shivs) from bedsprings and any other materiel they find.       Well, I served a mormon mission in New Jersey. In one of my areas, I knocked on a door of a dude who later beat his dad to death with a baseball bat. Dude was high on extacy. Learned this from the cops the next day.

      Unfortunately I must support 13 on this one. The Old Testament is more history and guidance. If he was a Christian, this would not have taken place. Christ taught peace, tolerance, and patience. Conversion through education, if you will. Judgement is reserved for God.
      Furthermore, in executing his mother -if she wasn’t saved- only guarantees she won’t be saved. Hard to ‘repent, repent, repent,‘ when you’re dead. And contrary to our muslim ‘friends’ beliefs, conversion by coercion is not salvation. Furthermore, in regards to the psycho: claiming Christianity is not the same as being one.

      not exactly in line with honor killings but violent nonetheless.

      plus the old testament is still honored by most christians and is part of their canon so to quote it is justified. after all the god that “revealed” the old testament was, in fact, jesus himself so one can safely assume that since jesus was both the son of god and god himself; everything that was said in the old testament was said by jesus (in some weird way.)

      There are only 4 occurrences of beheading in the Bible that I could find and they all had to do with Saints and Martyrs being beheaded. Although I agree with you and disagree with MrButcher regarding the New Testament being a new covenant, you are still a troll in these forums.

      Your Exodus reference is off. It’s about maidservants. Better check that again. As for the rest, the Law of Moses was what was practiced in Old Testament Times. This included some very harsh(to say the least) punishments for certain crimes. However, Christ did away with the Law of Moses, and therefore modern Christianity no longer accepts or practices those things. So, whether he was quoting the bible or not, he was just a crazy person not a real, devout Christian who understands the tenets of that faith.

      The verses you quote are not honor killings to preserve the “honor” of the offended party; they are Capital Punishment for Sins against God and society. Where the guilty are not assaulted by the offended but, judged and executed by a governing authority.
      Beyond that, God has guided his people through a social development (mostly through their own hardships) leading to the coming of Christ, who FULFILLED THE LAW AND SET US FREE FROM THE WRITTEN CODES which you quote, and instituted the Church Age where those who accept the gift of salvation provided by His sacrifice now live by grace through faith and the leading of the Holy Spirit’s guidance in our lives.
      However, I would surmise that you already know this but enjoy the illusion of your spiritual thespianism and self-humoring opposition.

      I find it abhorant, despotic and totalitarian. The basic irresponsible christian concept of vicarious forgiveness of wrong-doing via human sacrifice is, you must admit, flawed and not conducive to a moral society based on individual rights, laws and personal responsibilities.

      A few things to keep in mind:

      1) He yelled bible passages, not Koran passages.

      2) AFAIK the bible doesn’t approve/condone beheadings.

      3) It seems like every few years someone in NYC “freaks out” with a samauri sword or machette:

      anyone trying to tie this very unfortunate event to honor killings or sharia law are not dealing w/ reality or maybe they are not able to disconnect the details of this occurrence from what other “honor killings”. the report said they are of haitian descent. haiti is not particularly known for its connection to islam, but perhaps a whole lot of voodoo. either way, bible verses don’t make someone do this to ANYBODY, but drugs and satan do. there is no connection to islam and stop trying to demonize that religion- there’s enough people out there doing it for you.

      If I heard my neighbor screaming I would take a maul and my 357 over to her house and help her. The splitting maul is incase the attacker locked the door behind him. I don’t think a jury would convict someone on murder charges if that person was defending someone who is being attacked.

      I actually did defend someone while I was in the Corps, at an apartment complex i J-ville NC…a HUGE guy was chasing/beating his girlfriend across the parking lot, and she was screaming loud enough that my buddy (Montana state bullriding champ and also a Marine) and I went over to help. I grabbed a tire iron. We banged on the door and when this huge cracked-out sumbitch openned the door, he charged us. And he got a face-full of tire-iron. And he was out cold. When the civilian cops showed up, thay told us “good job” and shook our hands. We filled out the statement, they hauled him off, and we went home. They got piss-drunk…lol. Suck on THAT 13th!

      Semper Fi and thank God for drop-forged steel.
