UK’s ‘Sunday Times’ Reveals How Much it Costs to Buy the Ear of a Prime Minister

The UK‘s ’Sunday Times’ has just released video of a top Conservative fundraiser discussing how much it would cost to gain personal access to the Prime Minister, and it’s causing a scandal.

In the video, Cruddas told undercover reporters that a donation of £250,000 would give “premier league” access to party leaders, while £100,000 is “not bad” but would be “bottom of the premier league.”

He also said, “It will be awesome for your business” and “things will open up for you” if you donate a certain amount.

The donations would, according to Cruddas, also allow the donor to have dinner with Prime Minister David Cameron and Chancellor George Osborne.  At dinner, he noted, you can “pick up a lot of information,“ and are allowed to ask ”practically any questions you want.”

Furthermore, “If you’re unhappy about something,we will listen to you and put it into the policy committee at number 10 [Downing Street]…”

Cruddas was under the impression he was speaking with the staff of a wealth fund based in Liechtenstein.

Though PM David Cameron has denounced Cruddas, who resigned shortly after the video was released, the event is causing an outrage.  Many are upset that policy can be influenced by big donors, in Crudass’ own words.

PM Cameron reiterated, “What happened was completely unacceptable. This is not the way we raise money in the Conservative Party. It shouldn’t have happened.”

The opposing party’s leader Ed Miliband said, “We need to know what happened, who paid money, what interaction there was between the prime minister and the chancellor and the people who paid money.”

Across the pond, Americans are wondering how similar the process is in the United States.

100K British Sterling for the PM ear? Here it takes Obama hundreds of millions to each of his cronies to gain THEIR ear.

You can buy the ear of Obama but would have to pay a premium price due to Super Sizing.

Maybe we need one of those Nazi measuring devices… and create a Scale of Ear Sizes… to render the Value. An Obama Ear… would have to be at the Top!

The Labour Party has been trying to drag down the conservative Cameron government ever since Labour lost. They are part of the Left cabal of International union mobsters. Also behind the anti-Mudoch media “scandal” for the same reason. And they hope to spread their intimidation over here to end Fox News. These guys only believe in freedom of the LEFT wing press ! These guys don’t take “ no” after an election. It’s all about dirty tricks, intimidation, and unions. Same all over the world. Just like we have dealt with here since the 2010 Democrat election defeats. These guys believe that there is more than one way to “ win” an election ! Voters – step side. Labor is HERE and WE get our way !

I’m really confused by your post. Firstly, The Sunday Times is a Murdoch paper – and they exposed the scandal. Secondly the Cameron government is a coalition between the Conservatives and the Liberal Democrats (no-one won an overall majority at the last election). Thirdly, I hardly think that the party which was reformed by Tony Blair and won 3 elections can be described as a cabal of international mobsters. In fact the Labour party has been ineffectual in opposing the current government – or “dragging it down” as you call it (which is their job). The Sunday Times seems to have a done a much better job.
