Uncut: Herman Cain Announces 2012 Presidential Bid

Another candidate has entered the Republican presidential field. Former Godfather’s Pizza CEO Herman Cain announced his candidacy for the Republican nomination in his home town of Atlanta, Georgia today. Instead of announcing via social networking websites, Cain, currently a talk radio host, made his announcement at a rally in Centennial Olympic Park.
Cain said, “I‘m running for president of the United States and I’m not running for second.”
Cain joins the field that includes Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX), former Governor Gary Johnson (R-NM), and former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich (R-GA).
News outlets report that Tim Pawlenty will not be far behind. He will reportedly announce his bid for the Republican candidacy at a town hall event in Des Moines, Iowa Monday. The former Governor or Minnesota, who formed an exploratory committee in March, will travel to Florida after his Iowa announcement.

Posted on May 21, 2011 at 5:57pmSo, since so many people voted for Obama just because he was black. Also, since Obama was half black, but was claimed by blacks as black, evidently his “blackness” being of more import, then Cain or West should be able to win by a landslide, right??? Oh, I forgot , they are also true Americans. Nevermind.

Report Post »Swampbuck is absolutely right about doing more research. You have (on this thread and others) disdainfully referred to “zealous Paulheads” (including me, which I took as a compliment), but have you ever read one of Ron Pauls books or is your research on him limited to what you’ve heard on FOX News, Beck, Limbaugh, and Hannity? I’ll bet if you did read one of his books you would have a hard time disagreeing with anything he says. Thats because its all true. Are you familiar with his voting record in Congress as never having voted for anything that violates the Constitution? How about the fact that he does not participate in the Congressional pension and benefit program? His character and morality is beyond reproach. What is not to like? As I said I consider it a compliment to be called a zealous Paulhead. I’ve been voting conservative since Ronald Reagan in 1980 and I have never seen a higher quality candidate than Ron Paul. It’s like having an opportunity to vote for Thomas Jefferson. How can you pass that up?

Posted on May 21, 2011 at 5:56pmAs a rule, I usually find that I DO NOT AGREE with A RULING CLASS ESTABLISHMENT COMMENTATORS like Krauthammer, but in this case I am in complete agreement that Cain has as much chance of getting the nomination and winning as does The Donald: Zilch, Zero, Nada, None, Zip.
The good aspect of him campaigning is that it will drive the lunatic-left d-cRAT socialists even more insane (if that is even possible) because the d-cRAT socialists believe that blacks are 100% owned as their property. So, when one of them strays from the lunatic-left plantation and speaks out of turn – or otherwise disobeys their d-cRAT MASTERS – the lunatic-left and their stooges in the lamestream socialist media go into hyper-hate mode and throw everything they can at the offender. I can’t wait for the first loony to call Cain a “racist”, a “bigot” and an “uncle tom”.

Not just the left, but the elite progressive republican right as well.
It humorous to see all the other negative comments. These people didn’t listen to what he said, and/or have made up their minds on another candidate and comment to cut down the opposition.
Listen if you support the gold standard, it makes the FED irrelevant.
While avoiding foreign entanglements is the rule, ISRAEL is the exception.
He flat out straight forward said its time to get back to and REREAD the constitution.
He also addressed clearly his intention to “alter” the progressive legislative structure of our government to bring it back in line with the constitution, when he quoted from the Declaration of Independance.
FOX news does not love Herman Cain…they excluded him from the list of potential candidates though he had already announced his exploratory committee early in the year. Krauthamer dismissed him last night. If the elite don’t like him, GREAT.
He’s the most conservative candidate out there. While I like Ron Paul also, Herman, I believe has a much better chance of winning. We forget that 1/2 of this country still thinks Obama is doing a good job if the polls are right. Just blows my mind!
Full disclosure: I’ve been supporting him since he announced his exploratory at the first of the year.

poverty, why do you lie about Ron Paul? You sound like a prog plant. You use their rules For Radicals obfuscation ploy very well. Show me where RP says what you said about him.
Ron Paul says re-legalize liberty. Free choices & responsibility for all. Go to Law Enforcement Against Prohibition’s site for more info on why the failed drug war should be ended. Also look up Drug War Rant & find the innocents killed by cops.
Besides all that, I bet you don’t know why MJ was prohibited in the 1st place. HINT: It was NOT because smoking cannabis was a dangerous substance. The real target was industrial hemp. Look up The History Of Marijuana Prohibition & find out the truth. MJ prohibition is & was based on lies, exaggeration, deception & fear. WR Hurst was only out to protect his investments in timber lands & the fledgling DuPont Chemical Co.
I would advise Bill O’R & Glenn to both do the same research as they have no clue when it comes to med MJ, hemp prohibition or the lost drug war & reflect only big brother talking points.
Also please quit lying about Ron Paul. Thank you!

Posted on May 21, 2011 at 7:58pmDiehard: You mentioned the Flat Tax, but Herman Cain isn’t FOR the Flat Tax. He’s for the “Fair Tax”, a program that is implemented after they repeal the 16th Amendment. Second, if you have read the “Fair Tax” Book by Neal Boortz, then you wouldn’t have any problems with it. Since you say you have some questions, then you do not understand how it works. The Fair Tax was derrived by several businessmen who wanted to fix the current tax system that punishes success.
Third: Cain is one of the reasons why HIllarycare went down the tank in the 1990s after he asked Bill Clinton questions at a Town Hall about how it would affect his employees. Clinton looked like an idiot.
Cain is for less coporate taxes, less government interference, more personal accountability and freedom. He’s black which will make it extremely hard for the left to tout the race card. Second, he’s a former CEO that has RUN a business. He knows how to turn the Titanic around and make a profit. With $14 trillion in debt and high unemployment, he’s EXACTLY what we need.
Last, Cain will take Obama to the cleaners at the debates and serve him his lunch on a platter. Something that I would almost pay to see.

Show me another candidate or perspective one with a more consistent one track PRO-Constitution voting record as good as or better or as easily verifiable as Ron Paul’s. You can’t. Show me some one in Congress who knows more about economics & how to fix ours. Look up RP’s books on economics.
http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=SA+on+Ron+Paul&aq=f
http://chuckbaldwinlive.com/home/?p=3435
Like Jack Hunter, the southern Avenger says, [ a guest on Freedom Watch], Ron Paul is not only the best candidate, he’s the only candidate! :-)
We don’t need some one who has a silver tongue. We need some one with a solid, verifiable record that shows they would do more than just talk nicely. That would be Ron. RP, in this regard, can’t be topped. No, RP is not a great speaker. So what?????
It’s not the fancy way RP talks. It’s that we can PROVE him! Look up why RP is called a Taxpayer’s Best Friend. Look up his voting record. Look at how RP has not changed his stance in 30 years.
Thank you.

Yeah, he was deputy chair from 1992-1994 and chair from 1994-1996 for the Kansas City Federal Reserve Bank. That was almost 20 years ago, under Alan Greenspan. The culture then was entirely different from what it is now.
I worked for Sears almost 10 years ago. If a story broke tomorrow that they were involved in shady dealings, would you hold me accountable and have me subpoenaed? I sure hope not.
Cain supports going back to the gold standard. That should speak to his trustworthiness as a former Federal Reserve bank chair. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2010/12/28/herman_cain_return_to_the_gold_standard.html

Herman Cain has been, and always will be, my favorite choice for President ever since Mike Pence decided instead to run for Indiana Governor. I LOVE my Sacred Hero Allen West, but I’d rather see that Great Man sit in the SecDef seat.
I know the arguments against Cain, no political experience, but think about this. As a former corporate CEO, he KNOWS his job is to listen to his vice presidents and board members for advice and decide, as a leader, the best choice given his suggestions. Also, as he has epiphanies and ideas, he presents those ideas to his ‘cabinet”, listens to their advice, and makes the right decision as A LEADER. He understands that as president, whatever is his whim can, and should be declared law by executive order, is so blatently UNCONSTITUTIONAL and illegal is wrong. Yes, he was involved with the Fed, but you can look at that as a positive. if he has seen the inside of that secret organization, and does something to clean that rat’s nest out, then that experience is a bonus.
I love him, I love the “Fair Tax”, I think he is exactly what this country needs to get back on track. He is smart, he has wisdom, he has a plan in place, one in which I agree with.
Give him a fair chance in the coming debates, and see if you don’t agree with me.

Questions for Cain to answer during his campaign:
Are you Progressive and will you fight to repeal all the Government Progressives have put on Americans?
Will you challenge the Fed, your former employer, to an audit and stop crashing our dollar? Instead of referring the American people to a Fed representative for an explanation of how the Fed works.
Will you return responsibility to the American people for their own actions?
Are you in favor of affirmative action?
Do you see yourself as a human or a black man when looking in the mirror?
Will you abolish the Progressive Income tax and IRS?
Will you return the country back to the Constitution and withdraw us from the UN and any other International Governments?
I hope he can answer these questions and answers them correctly…Ron Paul is the only that has been able to…Ron Paul is the only solution, unless your progressive right…

Posted on May 21, 2011 at 5:59pmI think the best message and best hope of Herman Cain is that he can speak to those brainwashed black youth and tell them they are EMPOWERED with there own gifts of intellegence and improvisation to propell themselves OUT of the cycle of impoverishment that LBJ enslaved them in 60s. He can tell them that wealth is theirs for the taking if they put forth the effort, they can be respected by their communities, respected world-wide if they shoot high enough. Herman Cain can break the black youth out of despair and sway them back to productive members of society where they can own a $350,000 home right next to their white neighbor.
Report Post »Don’t call me a racist, this is the status quo in our country. They hate where they are, we, as conservatives want them to feel they can succeed. The lies are being peeled from these disenfranchised peaople’s eyes. And God say Amen to that!
We conservatives are NOT the racists, NOT the enslavers. We are the liberators, and we want ALL Americans to succeed and enjoy the fruits of their labors under the American dream.

By repealing the spending programs we will no longer owe the money Obama has spent. We will lose the money Obama spent to date, but save the trillions he proposed to spend. Make the dollar the envy of the world again by reducing spending and paying our debt and even demanding payment of the trillions we have lent to nations who now reject us! On the Neil Boortz show when questioned about the Fed and if he wanted an audit he danced the issue and said he wasn’t for an audit but would rather have Americans talk to a Fed representative. Big negative 1
Cain also said on his radio show that the Wall Street bailouts were a good thing and that those complaining of the bailouts are “market purist”… Negative 2…
He has yet to speak of returning to Constitution…Negative 3
Those questions I posed Id like clearly answered, no dancing the issue, by his campaign otherwise he will not favor my vote…

But I would propose an alternate method of taxation that did not require an IRS as we know it today.
It’s a very wasteful and inefficient way to collect the taxes the Government needs to function.
There are other, better ways to collect the revenue.
One, would even make sure that the underground economy / criminals would actually have to pay their “fair share” (You know, the “fair share” that liberals speak of so frequently).
Why do liberals always take someones statements, and draw them out to the most extreme possible outcome? Instead of just looking for the simple, common sense answer?

Posted on May 21, 2011 at 11:19pmMinor qualification: When Okie from Muskogee we need to vote for “a candidate that supports all Americans” he means supports rich Americans (regardless of color). Okie means that the government should pass measures that support the richest among us. That means more tax breaks to companies who are already making record profits while not hiring a single person. That means deregulating companies so they can increase profits by polluting more, put more carcinogens in our water supply and the air we breath. That means paying less to teachers, firefighters, and cops.
Come on Okie, when you say you want a candidate that supports “all Americans” you really mean supports a small minority of Americans and the expense of most of Americans. Please, stop misusing the English language.

I want to be fair. Cain seems like a good man. He very well may be a good president. A good man doesn’t always make a good president—– But the politics of the moment are moving quickly and strangly so i’ll follow…Indulge me.
The currenent undercurrent of Republican ‘12 presidential fever is: “don’t do anything that will allow the media to paint us as racist and/or insane”—
I’ll offer this critique of this candidate: Cain has NO international relations experience whatsoever. I find that to be a bit of a draw back. It‘s one thing to create a company that constantly makes piizza’s hot and tastey and ready to order and it is another thing to deal with china’s crazy internationally-dependent economy, that will soon surpass our own, and its rising military power coupled with its alliance with Russia and feigned alliances with pakistan and Iran.
I don’t think someone with retail-resturant-delivery experience is the best for the position of President.
If we’re going off of strict pizza-business skills then I think Papa John would be much better because Papa John’s pizza is better than Godfathers
This is silly….

Progressive income tax amendment—what more needs to be said….Tax based on how well someone does is like giving A students more work for doing good. This amendment divides. America operated quite well without it. More money given to Government, more problems Government creates.
Yes, return to the Constitution and remove all the left and right progressive expansions. Leave the UN and take our funding with us. We only need a Constitution, not a world Government.

If one votes for someone based on skin color, it is racism, seeing race first, and is wrong. If one creates laws based on skin color, it is racism, seeing race first, and is wrong.
Instead of creating a bunch of laws based on each race, income bracket, weight, or any other divisive device, laws should be created to benefit all Americans and unite Americans. By creating a law in favor of one group, the law is then bias toward this group and discriminative to the remaining parties.
Here is a contradiction you have JZS, you say by restoring back to the Constitution and voting for someone who sees all Americans created equal it will allow companies to get richer and for the rich to get richer…Don’t you complain now that the rich are getting richer and the companies have record profits under this progessed Constitution?
When I say supports ALL Americans, I mean just that…A person who unites America instead of dividing and conquering America by every divisive tool they can.

His courage to take an Iraqi insurgent, who was declaring West had no rights to harm him because of our ROE (Rules of Engagement). This insurgent knew there was an ambush in the waiting for West’s troops and would not disclose it. West then told his troops to leave the room, so he could take full responsibility for his own actions. He took the insurgent outside and put him on the ground next to a dry-firing barrel, West then took out his service M19 Beretta and asked the insurgent again where the ambush was located, nothing in reply, so West fires a round into the clearing barrels which were located above the insurgents head, needless to say, but West got the location and his men were saved. Directly after that, he went to his CO and turned over his service weapon and stuck out his hands and said arrest me if you may, I take full responsibility for my actions.
He resigned with full honorable discharge, not kicked out as some falsely claim, he would not get that Honorable Discharge and benefits had he been kicked out. He broke the ROE and paid the price for it and was willing to take whatever he got, that is honor and courage right there many will never know.
He openly tells the truth about Islam, how it’s a Totalitarian Ideology that is diametrically opposed to Judeo-Christian values. And he never minces words

He studies history and knows that there are people out there trying to rewrite history and have done so in many cases. He knows these attacks on Jews is also cyclic by reading history and being able to comprehend what he’s reading, unlike many people here. He often speaks of God, so he knows the significance of what would happen if the Jews were to go back to the 67 lines, this would also cut off many Jewish and Christian Holy sites from being visited, except by Muslims. They would have 9 mile wide swatch of land to defend while having millions above them in the Golan Mountains and to their East border with the sea to their back, indefensible. That cannot happen, but if it does, and they slaughter most all the Jews, they‘ll then have the mandate to make it the capital of United States of Islam and this will embolden the rest of Islam wrise up and then it’s us next., then they’ll come for you, until its worldwide. A Caliphate. He stands by Israel also he‘s already saved money with a bill he’s already passed. I like his stance on the 2nd Amendment also. He answers question with “yes” or “no” answers without beating around the bush. I think one word you could use to describe Col. West is character. A typical politician will worry about poll numbers and base/spin a position based on those poll numbers. That is frankly cowardly. Contrast that to the way Col. West behaves and you have a refreshingly stark contrast. You have someone who will do the right thing no matter what. And isn’t that all we can ask?
I think Herman is a good man too. And for anyone to discount his business history only makes that person look ignorant. You don’t rise from a business analyst to VP of Pillsbury if you are not smart. You don’t take a company on the verge of bankruptcy and turn it into a profitable company in only 14 months without some amazing ideas. If you really think this isn’t good experience to be president, then what is? Government experience? Please. The government is the problem, so that doesn’t fly. Herman is immensely more qualified than the current occupant of the office. We’ve never had a less qualified individual as president than BO, and frankly it shows. IMHO what we need is a conservative outsider with a track record of success who can articulate conservatism in a precise and unapologetic manner. And it doesn’t have to be confrontational. As I remember, we had an incredible president exactly like that once. I was an 18 yr old, long haired, rock musician and that was the first president I ever had the privilege to vote for.

It is horrible that so many only see one head of the two headed progressive snake….It is “liberals” fault every time and never the Rino’s fault….
Look what we have here: some chanting West because he broke ROE, orders given by his commanders, and went his own style to “save” his men..That is the same tactic Progressives use on the Constitution everyday…..George Washington would of followed orders and still saved his men….Mr. West was scared so he broke the rules….
Many chant Cain because he ran several global companies….He worked for the Fed and doesn’t want to audit the Fed…My question is does the President of the United States run the economy? Or does the President run the Government while the private sector runs itself….I see the problem today as to many presidents have tried to run the private sector, Government intrusion, smothering the Free Market…
No one can or will debate Ron Pauls record and his Constitutional view…No one…It is sad…

It is funny a so called Libertarian supports so many progressive right policies…
I love Glenn on different levels, his radio cracks me up and he is an honorable man for the good deeds his does. I have admired Glenn and he has done good work on exposing the radical progressive left and this administration…If only he would criticize and expose all the Progressive right, including NEO-Cons….Yes he has criticized GWB but who hasn’t and how could he not and not to the same degree as the Progressive left…But GB is more NEO-Con then Libertarian IMO….His views and stances line up with NEO-Cons if one is honest….
Being an advocate of the Founding Fathers and lover of the Constitution why would Glenn Beck not like Ron Paul when he speaks Constitutionally…That is the question no one asks….I still like Glenn and those are my views on him and his views and I think he’d respect me for my stance instead of blindly following every word he says…

I feel your frustration when other so-called conservatives beg for an honest, steadfast constitutional conservative and then proceed to slander the one candidate who epitomizes those qualities. I don’t get it. I feel sure that if they would take the time to read a couple of Ron Pauls books they would see why we’re such strong supporters. I’ve tried in past posts to use friendly persuasion rather than confrontation and was called an atheist and a drug user (I’m neither). Keep up the good work and spread the message, hopefully some of the blazers will take a better look at Ron Paul.

So if anyone says anything different about foreign policy, then they immediately paste the label “un-patriotic”.
I find it funny that all these pro “Allen West” (again he isn’t running) are pushing his “character”. OK well let us look at his “character”. In less then 6 months in office he voted “YES” to extending the patriot act. 6 MONTHS????? Ron Paul has been in politics for years and has NEVER voted against the constitution. This point here should be a huge red flag.
The Cain supporters, while Cain may seem like a good candidate, he merely seems to be molding his message like Ron Paul’s to steal at his base. He is on video for saying that auditing the Federal Reserve is unwise, etc etc. Beware people who flip flop in order to earn approval. It would be great is Cain was truly a man of his word, BUT, why not go with someone who has PROVEN TIME AND TIME AGAIN he is a man of his word.

Any person who does not see how the war on drugs hasn’t had one shred of success, and the Moral Hazard involved with the war on drugs cannot be taken seriously.
Any person who believes they need the government to tell them how to live to make moral judgments, or they do not trust people in taking care of themselves cannot be taken seriously.
This issue with the war on drugs irritates me, because of people like you. So how is justice served, if police officers are shot
Milton Friedman, famous economist, supported the idea of legalizing drugs simply because it would cure the moral hazard involved. Prohibition did not work in the 20s, it is not working now. You do not see similarities between the 20s and now? We have drug cartels, the only reason they exist is because drugs are illegal, they would not exist if drugs were illegal. Most border deaths are related to drug trafficking. So how do you propose to stop drugs exactly?
FURTHERMORE: If you would stop watching FOX, Ron Paul is pro states rights, if the state want’s it illegal, let it be illegal. If the state wants it legal, let it be legal.
Regardless: This issue is a distraction perpetuated by the media, the real problems in this country is the economy, the expensive militarism, and loss of liberty. Take for example the courts ignoring the fourth amendment.

I’m back.
Like I said, I have nothing against Ron. I actually like him. but In my opinion, he can not win.
The media would savage him, and mock him, and sadly, way too many ignorant voters would buy it.
This is why I posted a few weeks ago about requiring voters to pass a test to be able to vote. (I know that will never happen, but I was making a point.)
The founding fathers were adamant that in order for us to maintain our republic, it was imperative for the citizens to stay well informed, and educated. What do you think they would have to say about how well we measure up?
Fact is, too many people have little idea what Ron is even taking about, nor do they care.
Elections today are a popularity and charisma contest. If you can look and act presidential, you’re got a good shot. Not much else matters. Especially if the media drools over you.
So, if you can convince me that most voters will be well informed, unaffected by the media smear campaign, and really understand and care about the predicament this country is in, I would vote for Ron.
Otherwise, I still say he has no chance. So for now, I prefer someone I believe can beat Obama. Someone with all the characteristics needed to win a modern day election.
In my opinion, that man is Allen West. If he indeed stays out of the race, then I’m not sure yet.
Report Post »But if Ron happens to make it that far, he’s got my vote.

Before this speech, I’d only heard little bits of what he wants to do for America … but having heard that he believes that GOD ALMIGHTY will restore America through “Our Vision” … I want him to be our next president and I’ll promote him to all my friends and relatives … even to strangers … Everybody who wants our country back. What can I say? I didn’t vote in the last presidential election because I was stranded out of my voting district … but I’ve learned my lesson and will vote to make Herman Cain our nations next president. I didn‘t like John McCain either but I’d have voted for him because I knew Barack Obama planned to make America “just another country in his one world government” Go Herman, America needs you.

Posted on May 23, 2011 at 2:04amLet’s get something straight, folks.
The Federal Reserve has its hands tied right now. If they stop printing money to buy US treasuries, we will have a failed treasury auction. That means, nobody buys. The failed auction will likely trigger people and nations to start frantically dumping our treasuries, causing our interest rate to skyrocket. In all reality, the interest rate could go as high as 20%, which happened in the late 70s. Know what 20% of $14 trillion is? That’s $2.8 trillion, which eclipses all annual tax revenue. That’s just the interest payment, before we pay our troops, social security, etc.
The culprit behind the currency inflation is actually our government. They won’t stop spending. So, there’s really no need to audit the Fed. We know how it works. What we need to focus our energy on is balancing the federal budget!
Oh, and for the record, Herman Cain favors moving back to a gold standard, with the precondition that we balance the budget and strengthen the dollar first. I agree with him.

I don’t think you understand the endgame with an Obama transformation. By the time you realize the nation is lost, its too late. You will not have any right or recourse to reverse the change. The Politburo will have an iron grip on everything. Just look at Germany. By the time the citizens realized they had been played like a fiddle, it was too late.
Anybody but Obama should be your motto.

Lets clear the Funk surrounding the Fed and Government and a need to audit….
If Congress is authorized to coin, value and oversee issuing of money per article 1 section 8.5 of the Constitution, why shouldn’t Congress Audit the Fed? It is Congress’s duty, is it not?
Your critique of the Federal Reserve operation was good but you left out some major points…
The Federal Reserve is a private bank owned and operated for profit by a very powerful group of elite international bankers.
It is this private central bank that controls the money supply and the issuance of currency in the United States without Congressional oversight…
This intervention by the Federal Reserve is keeping interest rates on U.S. Treasury bonds artificially low, discouraging buyers…
The Federal Reserve is creating money out of nothing, loaning it to the U.S. government and then collecting interest on the loan.
In a true “free market” situation, the interest rates on U.S. treasuries would rise to reflect the rapidly declining economic situation in this nation, encouraging buyers. (Higher return on Investment for buyer)
Due to the massive explosion in the size of the U.S. government debt and due to the very weak U.S. economy, interest rates on U.S. treasuries should have shot through the roof by now. Rational investors would normally require an increased return for the increased risk that U.S. treasuries now represent.
Report Post »Okie from Muskogee
Posted on May 23, 2011 at 3:48amContinued
Instead when there are no buyers for U.S. treasuries at current interest rates, the Federal Reserve just steps in and buys up all the excess bonds that need to be purchased.
But in a normal free market situation, interest rates would rise on U.S. treasuries until they would be attractive enough for investors to buy them all.
As you said, if we allowed interest rates to rise, the deficit would explode as well as mortgage rates collapsing the housing market for good as well…
But for now (and this situation cannot last forever) the Federal Reserve is keeping interest rates artificially low by lending the U.S. government as much money as it wants at extremely low interest rates. Of course the Federal Reserve is making an insane amount of money out of the arrangement, so it is working out quite nicely for them as well.
But by essentially “printing” a flood of cheap money for the U.S. government to borrow, the Federal Reserve is ultimately going to end up destroying the value of the U.S. dollar.
So basically, the Fed buying debt, forcing out investors with to low return, and guaranteeing Government money to spend, keeps “printing” instead of saying no, is the primary reason the dollar will cease to exist and making very handsome profits at the slow inevitable demise of the dollar…Drag it out and the Fed makes more money, right?
Report Post »Okie from Muskogee
Posted on May 23, 2011 at 3:51amBy Congress not taking responsibility given to them in the Constitution and contracting this duty out to the Fed, Congress became irresponsible with money and became addicts to spending with the Fed as the dealer…By pushing out all the other dealers, low rates, the Fed became the kingpin, or has a monopoly on treasuries….
Congress needs to audit the Fed to understand how they became junkies as well as understand how much they have allowed We the People to be taken advantage of and to get an explanation of exactly how much profit was made at the expense of Americans and if the slow demise of the dollar, high profit for fed, was purposely driven by the Fed….
We will return to the Gold Standard regardless of Cain, the dollar will collapse and only Gold will remain…It is just the matter if we want to face reality today or wait a bit and it hit us like a ton of bricks…Either way, it’s gonna hurt….Audit the Fed cause the fiddle is playing as you said to Dustluv and will continue to play until we do audit, which will force Congress to be responsible and uphold their duty.

I was impressed. I think Mr. Cain is serious about taking our country back. I believe he’s a person that says what he means and means what he says. He’s not a person that is afraid to dirty his hands working for what he believes. He’s worked hard his entire life, as did his mother and father. He served his country honorably in the armed forces of the USA.
I’m a white American male, born in Texas in 1939 and I am aware of the racial conflicts in America’s past. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. gave his life to lay the foundation that we can build upon together for true civil rights and total equality in America. There will always be racists on both sides of the fence. I won‘t and can’t deny that fact, but we can overcome our diferences and accept each other as we are, as God made each of us in His own image and similarity. Americas problems have gone beyound the racial isues of the 1950‘s and 1960’s.
Unfortunately the first African- American President of the USA wasn’t someone like Herman Cain or Allen West. Skin color for the vast majority of Conservative Americans is not an important issue, or even an issue at all. Most of the Conservative Republicans could care less if the President’s skin color is white, red, yellow, brown or black, as long as his ideas, plans and policies for America
