Union Protesters Bully Wis. Workers Trying to Recall Dem. Sen: ‘Fu** You’

Citizens working to recall one of the MIA Democratic Wis. State Senators say they are the victims of union bullying, and they have video to prove it.

The group Recall Jim Holperin Committe, which is trying to oust Sen. Jim Holperin, issued a press release describing the events of last Thursday, March 10. According to the release, union protesters showed up at a recall event, surrounded the petition table, and destroyed some of the petition. Police, the group says, stood by and did nothing:

The committee then set up in front of the Lincoln County Courthouse to offer citizens an opportunity to sign their names to the petition.  Over 1,000 calls had been sent out the previous day notifying area residents of the petition rally.

Upon arrival, members of the recall committee were encircled by union protesters carrying signs and a leader with a mega phone who began chanting and ranting loudly. They packed in tightly around the petition collection table so as to prevent those attempting to sign from doing so. At one point, a pro union protester, pretending to be interested in signing the petition, wrote profanity across a partially collected petition form, than began ripping up the completed petitions that were in close proximity.

The policemen who were there, and who were standing in close proximity to these events as they unfolded, did nothing to assist those collecting the petitions as they were being destroyed, despite such an action being a Felony under Wisconsin law. Police also did nothing to clear the walk way for citizens that wanted to sign the petitions. Recall Committee members received many phone calls the following day from Merill area citizens who stated that they showed up to sign the petition, but were too afraid to get out of their vehicles and approach the recall table.

Recall organizers took video of the event, which shows the graphic statement one protester wrote on a petition [CONTENT WARNING]:

Local police chief Ned Seubert responded to the group’s accusation via the Wausau Daily Herald. He said his officers responded to two calls about the rally – one about a man who yelled in a petitioner’s face, and the other about a person who tore the petitions. According to him, his officers could not find either person. He added he plans to meet with the recall group to discuss their concerns.

“We know they prevented or made it very difficult for people to obtain the signatures however I only had five officers as well and to try to break up this group would have been impossible for us,” Seubert told WSAW, and added that none of his officers witnessed any violence. He also said he was looking into whether election laws were broken by defacing and destroying the petitions.

“It’s property. It‘s someone’s property so at the very least it’s destruction of property. We are checking to see what violation of election laws might be involved here,” he said.

As usual, the FAT UNION PIG-THUGS demonstrate they have no conception or respect for the rule of law. I would advise the petitioners to obtain the derelict cops’ names and badge numbers, and to file criminal and civil lawsuits against both the UNION PIG-THUGS and the city, as well as the individual cops who were complicit in the crime. The State Attorney General and the Governor should become involved in this, perhaps by assigning State Troopers to protect the 1st Ammendment Rights of taxpayers to gather recall signatures ANYWHERE and ANYTIME allowed under law , without the threat of being assaulted by a bunch of UNION PIG-THUGS, while their equally PIGGISH derelict cop-union “brothers” stand by and allow these crimes to occur .

And needless to say, any such DERELICT PIG-COPS should be fired, without any possibility of ever being hired as a public employee again !

HERE WE GO AGAIN! What don’t you understand? There is no “right” to collective bargaining. Collective bargaining is a legislated privilege given to unions by friendly lawmakers. TITLE 29, CHAPTER 7, SUBCHAPTER II, § 157 of the U.S. Code says “Employees shall have the right to self-organization, to form, join, or assist labor organizations, to bargain collectively through representatives of their own choosing.“ In reality it has been determined by numerous Federal Court decisions that the term ”right to“ is not the same as the term ”Right” as used in the U.S. Bill of Rights, or the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and 1991, etc.. Organized labor has NO RIGHT to collective bargaining. Are you people REALLY that stupid? Really?

I believe your passionate comment deserves a reply. We are the people who refused to recognize the threat of our country being destabilized by radicals from within the highest levels of Government. We learned to ignore what was going on in Washington D.C. because the more we read and saw, the more frustrated we became. We lost ourselves in the decades of the eighties and ninties following professional sports, seeking recreation, intoxication, and luxury. We went along with politicians that wanted to fight wars, but did not want to win them. We let them bleed our treasury to the point where we had to borrow money from other nations just to keep ours running. We ignored and snickered at the warnings of the people that we labeled “far-Right whackos”, and “White Separatists” and “Survivalists” that have told us since the seventies that this was happening. They told us if we didn’t wake up to it soon, it may be too late. But now we are all very indoctrinated. We are nothing like the men and women of the American Revolution, we are nothing like the people of the Civil War era. Today we expect someone other than ourselves to fix the problems. But who? Lawyers? politicians? the military? the police? No sorry, none of these people are going to help.

Can’t happen. Most federal and even the majority of state and local government contracts are required by law to go to union contractors. At this point the government is about the only one left with money to do any work with. What little in “stimulus” money that went to infrastructure projects was given almost entirely to union contractors. What small percentage did’nt go directly to unions was required, by law, to be paid at union scale. This caused many projects to be much more costly than normal and in some cases actually caused layoffs at non-union companies because they couldnt pay as many people the higher wage that was demanded.

Just another reason why it should be illegal for the police to be unionized. At any time they can decide that you don’t support their cause and turn the other cheek. This time it was pretty tame, but next time it could be someone’s life. The police who were there should be fired immediately, but you can’t do that because they are in the union.

But the Wisconsin police went even further than ignoring union bullying at the petition tables. THE Wisconsin POLICE threatened area businesses, “In the event that you cannot support this effort to save collective bargaining, please be advised that the undersigned will publicly and formally boycott the goods and services provided by your company.” The threatening letter was signed by several policemen.

Miami was a HUGE problem with both unemployment and foreclosures, yet that was not important to former Mayor Alvarez. He raised property taxes by 13% and to palliate the unions (read, public sector (taxpayer funded) employees he increased their salaries and unfroze their benefit packages. In the early 1980‘s the head of Britain’s coal miners’ union, Arthur Scargill, was determined to throttle the British economy and provoke a revolution to literally take Britain into the communist sphere. And he may well have succeeded, except the Prime Minister at the time was not an Obama, but rather Mrs. Margaret Thatcher.

Amongst other tactics, Scargill was organising the most extremely violent union thugs, into what were called “flying pickets”, and tranporting them from town to town specifically to cause destruction, mayhem, and break heads of any who opposed the union leader’s will.

With the nation literally at stake, P.M. Thatcher arranged things so these “flying pickets” would have the opportunity to test themselves against a really resolute peace force.

From Claire Berlinski‘s book ’There Is No Alternative’:

“Thatcher determined that violent picketers would be met by an equally violent police force, but she feared that local authorities might be hesitant to do the needful. They would, after all, be arresting citizens of their own hometowns, people with whom they had grown up. Appropriating Scargill’s tactic of deploying flying pickets, the government took the unprecedented step of coordinating the police at a national level and bringing in forces from distant counties to confront the picketers. Over the course of the strike, 11,291 miners were arrested; an untold number injured; eleven killed.”

During Hitler’s rise to power a group of thugs (Brown shirts) were used to disrupt political rallies of Hitler’s opponents. The Brown Shirts were also used to intimidate and harass political opponents. Persecution of the Jews began with the Brown Shirts. It appears that the wannabe tyrants are taking a page from the Fascist Dictator’s workbook.

Hitler’s Brown Shirts tactics are not effective against an armed citizenry. Now, do you see why the tyrants fight so hard for gun control!

Get use to it. There will be times you and I will be the only one’s standing….So be it….Get Ready. Toughen up. Each of us will have the opportunity to take a PHYSICAL stand sooner than later. Haven’t read all the comments yet but I tell ya, it’s bad here in Wisconsin. So much crap going on involving the upcoming supreme court election (if the incumbent loses, the balance shifts for TEN YEARS to the left, 4-3), the recall petitions (Republican AND Democrat), the lawsuits, union boycotts (shakedowns) of ANY business that dared to donate to ANY Republican candidates ANY time in the past…. local (liberal) councils and school boards rushing to push through long-term contracts before the bill goes into effect…. I fear we may have won a small battle but unless a whole lot of people wake up VERY soon, we WILL lose this war.

The petitioners need to get private guards/bodyguards to protect the process, maybe some ex-navy seals The thugs are no more than bullies that Obama is talking about. I am sure there are good people, ex-military, bouncers, etc. that would volunteer to stand up for freedom. My prayers are with the people of WI. There are no excuses for this thugy behavior and the simple truth integrity can not be comprimised!

The truth is, that is what Democracy looks like. Democracy is just another term for “Mob rule”. Democracies can steal the rights of the people just as easily as any other political systems, except a Republic. Thats is why the founding fathers started a Republic, NOT a Democracy. In a Democracy the propaganda of either side can be used to subvert peoples rights and kill Liberty. In a Republic, the law is the highest authority, NOT the people.

Our new battle cry must be, “Take our Republic back”, not our country, the Republic is what has been lost.

Perhaps Gov. Walker should entertain the idea of importing some police officers from Tennessee who know that their job is to enforce the law despite their own personal convictions. From videos that I have seen and accounts that I’ve read, the police in Wisconsin seem to be following Holder’s version of the law–only enforce those that don’t offend “his people.”
Another example of how the left/socialists/marxists/progressives view free speech. You are free to say or do anything as long as you are reciting from Alinsky or Marx, etc. If not, then sit down and shut up! Every day you see more and more of Andy Stern’s proclamation coming to light: “We will try the power of persuasion and if it doesn’t work, then we will use the persuasion of power.” Although he is not the head of SEIU anymore, I am sure his acolytes are in there. It seems as if Trumka has taken the lead on this and for those who remember unadulterated history, when Trumka was head of the UMW there were deaths of non-union workers during a strike in WV. I hope and pray that this is not the path we are going down again.
The further ironic hyprocrisy of this video and others that have surfaced in the past week is that the O and Moochelle just had their day long conference on bullying last Friday, while the world was shaking. I am beginning to think that we need to listen closely to what the O says, because it seems that every time he orates about something, events happen.

Arrest all of the union thugs as well as the corrupt cops(I cannot call the police officers since they lost that right by their actions). Let them spend the next few years in prison cells together since they are so close to each other anyways. Perhaps some of the other prisoners might want to get “close” to the corrupt cops as well.

Bad sign that the police would not step in to stop them. Those officers are demeaning all other hard-working, moral policemen who actually do their job to uphold the law. How can we ever trust them again if they are willing to close their eyes to anarchy? And we cannot even ask the Justice Department to investigate because Holder and his henchmen don’t uphold the law either. If it were not such a serious threat to all of us non-union Americans, I would jokingly ask, “Who are you gonna call……..Ghost-Busters?” But this is no joke.

Any intelligent citizen watching what the unions are doing has to see them for what they are: Anarchists on a mission to take over our country. Do not support them in any way.

I disagree with Beck . we cant win these people over. the only thing they understand is force. they admit this. they keep telling us what they will do if they dont get their way and they keep doing it too. so why do we think we can win by cuddle time. why? to impress some independants who are still riding the fence? any independants who cant tell what the union or progs plan is by now are lost. its time to pick sides and fight they are sheep. and us pretending to be sheep figting off wolves is idiotic at best. attention people. you want to protest then fine. And i am not saying we go out and start crap. but quit running every time these union thugs use force. quit relying on the cops who are doing NOTHING. be prepared to defend yourself. geez people we are fighting for our freedom here. enough with the care bear snuggy crap and grow some claws. take a page from the socialists and learn what you must do for freedom.

Looks like the fix is in with Wisconsin police. They’ve consistently proven over the past few weeks that there is an unofficial policy of looking the other way when their union brothers set about the task of intimidating opponents, etc… I have a great deal of respect for law enforcement officers but we can’t excuse the individual behavior of the officers and their superiors who allow things like this to happen. Chief Ned makes the excuse that his officers were outnumbered, and that it would have been impossible to break up the gang of thugs intimidating the petition workers. How does he know that? It seems as though they didn’t even try asking the antagonists to leave nicely. So, what good was the presence of the officers in the first place? They were neither advocates for those acting lawfully, nor were they adversaries to those breaking the law. It seems to me that the only solution is for groups like the petitioners to commission their own security. I think a well organized, well directed, and well vetted group of average citizens to provide protection against the increasing harassment by union thugs is necessary if the police will not do their job. This group would be lawfully assembled with groups like the petitioners and should act within the law to provide a reasonable and judicious defense against people who obviously wish to do harm to person or property. We won’t gain anything by shying away from confrontation. We do not have to welcome it but we cannot shrink from it. STAND UP!
