Unions are a key to victory for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., and they know it. The Wall Street Journal looks at unions and their election organizing campaigns — including paying members to knock doors.

Posted on November 2, 2010 at 6:19pmI have no pity for the Democratiers losses they are incurring today. They have earned their failures. They work hard to lie to the American tax payers and abuse the powers of their office. I am so excited and happy to see them get voted back into the closets. Go Tea Party and Conservatives!

Posted on November 2, 2010 at 5:26pmThis has nothing to do with this story.
Just read: The barry trip to India coming up shortly will include 3000 people, and cost 200 million dollars per day. This is abuse of power, and its abuse of our money. I hope he stays there.

Posted on November 2, 2010 at 5:13pmIsn’t it odd, even a bit hypocritical, the unions have been hurt the most in Vegas by Reid and the Obama agenda and they still support them. I guess it’s true, Stupid is as stupid does!

Posted on November 2, 2010 at 4:55pmThank goodness my husband no longer works for a union…they had his mind twisted!! Now, we are selfemployed and back to sanity! It’s just sad the way they “force” you to be someone they want you to be instead of allowing you to make your own decisions. Sad.

Posted on November 2, 2010 at 4:53pmi can’t wait for the rebellion of union members against the union leaders to commence. it is coming.
there are many in those union ranks who don’t like what is currently happening.

Posted on November 2, 2010 at 5:17pmThe union people will not rebel against the union leaders. They probably would like to, but no way. With the economy the way it is and the hard times in front of us, they will need to be a robot and just stay the coarse.
What the union leaders need to be concerned about is the nonunion people. There are many that are just waiting for, well the right time.

Posted on November 2, 2010 at 4:52pmThey should get that card check thing passed. Then they could have all the union members vote right at the union shop, with a little help from management.

Posted on November 2, 2010 at 5:23pmIf any of these UNION workers had a pair they would have already walked out on the UNIONS. They have been corrupt for a long long time. They rip off the workers and fine them for not siding with them. I haven’t worked for a UNION personally, but I have worked for companies that were UNION. They would harass me for wanting to support my family. I am sorry but no one is going to tell me when I can work and when I can’t unless they are going to pay my wages till I get back to work. They were a good thing in getting things done in the early years. But now they have outlived their usefulness.

Posted on November 2, 2010 at 4:51pmThis is disgusting! We, TEA Party Patriots, pay our own way. We rent our buses, we volunteer our own time! My whole family is pro-union, as I remember arguing with my dad as early as 10, that unions had outlived their usefulness, but not it’s worse than that! We can blame unions DIRECTLY for outsourcing jobs, by making the payrolls unsustainable by private companies! Now they infest the service industry (can’t be outsourced unless by phone) and government, which all needs to be put into the private sector, or closed completely, i.e., Dept. of Education, Dept. of Ag….I could go on and ON!

Posted on November 2, 2010 at 5:02pmVery well stated. Unions are a huge problem for this country and will only get worse over time if not dealt with.

Posted on November 2, 2010 at 5:15pmExactly! Will we learn nothing looking to the east? Europe is starting to feel the pain of heavy unions. The collapse would have happened earlier if we hadn’t shouldered much of their defense budget for the last 60 years.

Posted on November 2, 2010 at 4:51pmForm what I’ve read the Unions have bullied hotel management into special accommodations for getting employees voting time. Assuming they are Reid voters the management is acting AGAINST stockholders ,of these hotels, interests. Seems like a financial conflict of interest. If Angle wins she should demand a meeting from the CEOs of those hotels involved in the get out the Democrat vote against her and expose their activities to the shareholders. Obama Unions run the hotels now. If allowed to pass 2012 will be even worse.
