Update: 9/11 Coloring Book Publisher Says Hes Called the FBI Over Backlash

Wayne Bell, the publisher of “We Shall Never Forget 9/11: The Kids’ Book of Freedom,” said he's called law enforcement, including the FBI, as a result of the attention the book has received. (Media credit: KMOX)

The publisher of the so-called “9/11 coloring book” said he’s called local police and the FBI as a result of the backlash and negative attention the book has received.

The Blaze first reported on “We Shall Never Forget 9/11: The Kid’s Book of Freedom” Tuesday. It’s a 36-page coloring book that features images of Osama bin Laden, the World Trade Center and Islamic terrorists, all for children to color in.

“These are people from Al-Jazeera that have called in here numerous times, people from Iranian TV, people from Palestinian Hamas TV,” Wayne Bell, publisher of Really Big Coloring Books, told CBS St. Louis KMOX. “A lot of people from the Islamic community have called in here and said increasingly negative things prior to the book being made and then after we made the book too, about the book itself.”

Muslim groups, including the Council on American Islamic Relations, have attacked the book, calling it “hateful,“ ”slanted“ and ”disgusting.” One scene in the book that has drawn particular outrage is one that shows American citizens upset by the attacks, including a woman wearing a cross around her neck, but shows no mourners from the Muslim American community.

According to CBS, Bell did not directly answer reporters’ queries about whether he had received threats that prompted him to call law enforcement.

“That’s our COO,” Bell said, pointing to a co-worker. “He’s talked to the Clayton police department, a sergeant at the Clayton police department and the FBI, regarding your question. That’s the answer to your question. And so, it’s really good to be aware of your surroundings. We’ll put it that way.”

Just to prove what a crock of crap all of this is, think about it this way. Muslims admit that only about 10% of them are radical, correct?
I say, if that’s true, then the other 90% of (so called) peaceful muslims should have no problem destroying the radicals, or at least turning them in to authorities. I know if I knew of, or overheard some (so called) christians plotting to blow up something or someone, I’d have no problem turning them in. IMHO, the world needs another crusade, only this time, we don’t stop until Islam is destroyed or outlawed worldwide. Every time I see one of those douchbags wearing a black robe I feel like throwing up in my mouth. They’re cowards who hide behind women and children and commit every kind of despicable act, and then have the balls to say it‘s because of America’s imperialism or foreign policy. I say this, when was the last time America took over a country and annexed it for America? I’ll tell you when, NEVER!

I don’t know about the book, I mean I really would’t want to buy for a small child.

Consider this for a moment……Our schools aren’t teaching about the events of 911. In fact, when Osama was killed, my 10 year old was educating her friends at school who he was, she was stopped by her liberal teacher. Her voice was also hushed on the school bus. These kids had never even heard of 911! My daughter has had many questions. I have ordered my copy and am hoping it will help me to communicate the horrific event to her. She needs to know that justice was served the day that horrible man was killed by our brave young men. I‘m finding that if I don’t tell her the truth, no one will. It happened. Our kids need to know.

This is how they plan to deminish the freedom of speech folks.
Maybe its time to call the FBI when we see liberal bias in the media like global warming theory being presented as fact and base the complaint on the premise that you can not yell fire in a movie theater.

I mean, there could be a fire, but it might just be the theater furnace kicking in?

I think the book is hilarious. The page that has Usama Bin Laden hiding behind the woman in the burqa is real art. It needs to be colored in with the two double-tap holes in his face.

Good thought buzzie. I often said that if I ever figured out where Usama was I feel obliged to tickle his testicles with my Arkansas tooth-pick. For you liberals…figger it owt.

No doubt, the FBI has already sprung into immediate and decisive action (investigating Mr. Bell for hate speech and crimes against multiculturalism).

This American citizen who is exercising his freedom, is being threatened by the “religion of peace”. This is why the FBI was called in.

Never expect the mohommedist to be truthful. What they are doing now is intimidation by law, business reprisals, and supposed bad JU JU from the Pathological Liars Club. Get local community help is the police are to frightened of the mohommedists to enforce the law.
