Update: AP Now Reports Black Wis. Teen Admitted He Was Targeting Whites

Earlier this week it was reported that police in Wisconsin were not going to charge black teens who engaged in mob-style attacks at the state fair with hate crimes. That’s despite the fact that frantic 911 calls and eyewitness reports said the teens were specifically targeting whites. Now, the Associated Press is reporting that one of those teens has admitted to targeting whites because they were “easy targets.” And police are now recommending he face hate crime charges.
This is the AP report (via WLS-890 Am RADIO):
The investigation into 11 of the violent incidents on the opening night of the Wisconsin State Fair has resulted in the arrest of a 16-year-old African-American who reportedly told investigators he targeted whites.
West Allis police said Thursday the teen was arrested late Wednesday. The Milwaukee teen was booked on suspicion of attempted robbery and robbery. Police recommend that he face additional penalties for hate crimes.
Police say the teen told investigators whites were chosen because he considered them “easy targets.”
On opening night of the fair last week, 31 people were arrested and at least 11 people were hurt. The West Allis Police Department has said race was a factor in the 11 violent incidents it’s investigating.
The State Fair has stepped up security since the attacks. [Emphasis added]
On Wednesday, however, the West Allis police department released a statement saying that “none” of the attacks “possessed elements” that would prompt hate crime prosecution:
“The police department issued a statement with details of arrests, saying ‘None of these incidents possessed elements that would compel the pursuance of a ‘hate crime’ prosecution.”
Witnesses reported attacks on the opening night of the fair that seemed to be racially motivated with young African Americans beating up white fair goers, but police say at this point there is not enough evidence to support such claims.”
That seems to contradict the AP report.
It also seems to contradict the Justice Department’s definition of a hate crime: the “violence of intolerance and bigotry, intended to hurt and intimidate someone because of their race, ethnicity, national origin, religious, sexual orientation, or disability.”
The question that remains, then, is: Was the teen attacking victims because he saw their color as making them weak and views whites as an inherently weaker race? Based on the recommendation by the police that he face hat crime charges, yes.
If so, the police may want to revisit some of the other charges.

The worst racism I have personally experienced though, especially when I was with my ex, was from young black males. I thought it would be the exact opposite, that older white males would be the most rude, bigotted, and intolerant, but that was not the case. I never went out in public, especially if large numbers of black men were gathered, without being armed in the event that my ex or I were attacked.
I have no animosity towards blacks (or any other ethnicity), but I am sick of the meme that whites (and only whites) are bigots. I have seen a poster defend the black community’s racism by posting FBI hate crimes statistics of the percentage of black on white hate crimes vs white on black hate crimes…..but what they forgot to include is A.) blacks do not make up even 19% of the population and B.) most authorities absolutely refuse to charge blacks with hate crimes.
I do not believe in “hate” crimes, only crime. I believe in EQUAL justice, not SOCIAL justice. However, if whites are going to be routinely charged with a “hate” crime, then these savages running about the nation targeting whites should be as well.

Report Post »That got a good laugh from me. I attended christian private school until 5th grade. Around 1981 (6th grade) I switched into racially diverse inner city public school in Michigan. I grew up learning that everyone was the same, and that Jesus loves the litttle children, red, yellow, black and green, and all of those in between. Going to the public school was a cluture shock. There was a complete and visible double standard, and the young black students knew it, and may of them ran wild. teachers were literally afraid of them, and let them do as they please. The way to get away from it, was to take the college prep classes, and advanced math and science classes.
Public school gave me a real education, and reading, writing, and math had little to do with it.

This double standard has got to end and I have to say its the govt and media that drives the racial divide in this country. After the Civil War we were fine as a people. How does that biblical verse go? Though shout not covet they brother’s skin, or maybe not. Its not jealousy. It’s retribution. It’s ideology that has not only been allowed to fester, but hand-fed to minorities over many years. The white man is evil. The reason you are down and out is because the white man put you there. It’s not your fault. It’s not your responsibility. You owe nothing to society. And society gets what it deserves.
If you are a black person reading this and believe even a smidgen of this may ask just one question. If it is the “white” man that has held back minorities, what can be said for all the white people living in poverty- that also have fewer opportunities? When are people going to learn it is not about the color of skin or race, but the decisions one makes and the courage to seek out opportunities.
I concede that there are definitely some people out there that are racist and do want to suppress certain groups. But, know this, there are a lot more good people than bad.

The Justice Dept, who has called whites “cowards”, will NEVER call these ‘race riots’ or ‘hate crimes’. Such a shame, because middle class blacks are very sad to see this happening. We have come so far, and now we are seeing a return to hate and mistrust…from our first “black” President. Irony, anyone?? We have all been set up by President Alinsky.

I’m smart enough to realize that there are good and bad people of every race, sex, age, religion etc… But… The “GOOD” people need to speak out and condem the actions of the bad. I want to see more good blacks tell it like it is… YES – all races are capable of racism.. and YES targeting anyone based on race is wrong.. This is not a black/white issue it is a right / wrong issue.

Generally no one assaults you because of the love in their heart for you. The whole hate crime will move toward a protection of gays, and other radical groups that want to silence those that are christians, and those that have morality. The end goal of the hate crime legislation is to silence pastors, private schools, parents…. Prosecute the crime, and do not get sucked into the liberlas way of thinking.

Every February I’m constantly reminded of how bad we white folk are, but I never see any hour long tv shows about the new black panther party and their racialy laced hate speach against “crackas”. I was over this race **** in the 70′s after watching shows like the jeffersons and goodtimes. There are a large amount of people in the black community that still want to play the victim role. That doesn’t fly with me and I will destroy any argument put forth by this ignorance. We Floridians carry concealed so I don’t worry about a large mob like this. We have the paraphrased statement that he was going after whites and the only direct quote is “easy targets.” I‘m not saying these attacks weren’t racially motivated, I believe that they are. What I am saying is that quote doesn’t explicitly say that they were. It says that whites were “easy targets”, which based on probability, they most likely were.

When a couple of white guys drag a black guy to his death (because he’s black) behind their redneck mobile and get the death penalty, people rant because they weren’t prosecuted for a HATE crime. Maybe we should develop a LOVE crime category. That being said, the Barry justice department shows its hypocrisy by not thinking this fits the definition of a hate crime. . .
