Update: Brother Jailed for Attacking Harry Potter Actress Who Dated Non-Muslim

The brother of Harry Potter actress Afshan Azad has been jailed for six months after pleading guilty to brutally beating the actress because she was dating a non-Muslim.

Afshan, 22, was beaten last year, called a “whore,” and reportedly threatened with death after her family found out she was seeing a young Hindu man. Reuters reports the beating also included being punched, dragged around by her hair, and strangled by her 28-year-old brother Ashraf Azad.
The assault took place at the family’s home in Manchester, England. After the assault, both the brother and the father were found not guilty of making death threats, but Ashraf pleaded guilty to one count of assault.
Reuters says Afshan, who now lives in London, asked the judge in the case not to send her brother to jail. But judge Roger Thomas ignored that request, and instead sent Ashraf to prison for six months after he pleaded guilty.
“This persistent attack was accompanied by serious and very hurtful abuse and threats,” the judge told Ashraf in court.
“The background to this offense lies in the concern that you, and perhaps other family members, had about Afshan’s relationship with a young man who was not of the Islamic faith.”
Afshan played a classmate of Harry Potter in several of the blockbuster Hollywood films.

My Friend Justin worked for Sams Club out here in AZ, well while he was at work a muslim man with his two wives are shopping turns and starts punching his wife in the store. He jumped the man and start hitting him. Then his manager came and held the muslim down. The police came and told them there was nothing to do because of his religious rights. Unfortunately, there will be some kind of retaliation; do not be suprised if she suddenly makes a ‘decision’ to leave the nation to be with other relations or suddenly gets hitched in an arrainged set of nuptuals happening at the last minute. The only reason the father and his brothers have not done anything else to her – including murder of her – is that the brother has already tried to discipline her thus saving the father and brothers honor, and the family honor and face at the same time; in the accordance of their cultural beliefs.

Islam was once a very fulfilling, peaceful, and thoughtful religion which led it’s followers into a mathematic and scientific golden-age, and then a literature and artwork golden-age.Since the empowerment of several bad leaders, one after the other, the religion and the way it was interpreted was perverted by forces who wished to control the people and bend them to their violent will.
Instead of a religion of peace, piety, and faith in Allah, it became a religion of power, bloodthirst, and conquest.However, Islam is still, at the core, a peaceful religion. It’s only been so perverted that few today can still become what the religion intended, instead of falling into the current fad of Jihads and infidel killing.
Christianity was relevant about the same length of time Islam was, but in different time windows.
Christianity’s main draw was that it empowered people through peace and love to become better people, and build better societies. Around the 5th century AD, things had begun to go to hell. When the emperors and kings started ruling with the churches and the popes, wars started, people died, and the messages of Christianity got perverted by some rather bloodthirsty clergyman and papal leaders. There were consistent struggles, and nobody wanted to let the other have full control, or even half control. In all the fervor of war, Christianity’s peaceful message was all but forgotten about, and replaced by bloody inquisitions, witch hunts, and holy wars. Catholiscism came up with new ways to integrate control of the citizenry into everyday church activity, coming up with religious concepts that involved paying money to ensure your passage into heaven, and ridiculously corrupt things like that.
While Christianity later came out of the lowness it had become, it never regained its full power and healing abilities.

They are no more than wolves in sheep clothing….awaiting the day when they out-breed us. Then you will see their true nature come into play. At that point you can count on your days on earth as being severely limited. Europe is on the cusp of this. In under five, maybe ten (max) years events like this will be common place….if news worthy at all. Prison? Don’t make me laugh! Good Muslim boy……but you should have beaten her to death! Allah will be soooo proud!

Posted on January 21, 2011 at 7:31pmOver and over again we hear about these terrible abuses of muslim women. Why is the muslim community not speaking out against such outrageous acts of violence. I have a very hard time believing this is a religion of peace. More and more there is evidence that Islamic beliefs embrace violence and horrible abuse against woman and children. America is a country of tolerance and acceptance when it comes to our religious beliefs, but we DO NOT embrace or tolerate this kind of barbaric violence that is being masked under the veil of religious beliefs. Maybe it is because we don’t live in a world 2000 years ago. We try to learn from the mistakes of our past and move forward. Any kind of religion that thinks its okay to treat others this way has no place here in America. In America we value life and that is probably why these Islamic nut jobs hate us.

Posted on January 22, 2011 at 2:05amI think people are missing the most important part, 6 months in jail. Does anyone think that will rehabilitate him? Isn’t that part of the purpose of jail? I fear for her life in 6 months. Why would that religious psychopath change anything about his mental state? There should be a psych evaluation to test for any violence before he’s released, if he fakes it and does more harm, the religion is evil for supporting this, if he fails, he is evil for being a psychotic.

Posted on January 23, 2011 at 2:12amMay I suggest the book by Robert Spencer “The Politically Correct Guide to Islam (and the Crusades)”; it is an excellent source of (documented) historical facts about Islam as well as the truth behind the Crusades. A very sobering book.
