Yesterday, Jon Seidl reported on comedian Christopher Titus’ joke about killing Sarah Palin. Following some negative press, the entertainer took to his Facebook page to “apologize” for his comments.
Between his half-hearted “I’m sorries,” he slipped in as many swipes at Palin as he possibly could. His apology reads as follows:
While sitting in a comedy club with another comedian doing a podcast after listening to Sarah Palin’s stupid comments about Paul Revere–something we all learned about in the first grade– I popped off. More than anything, I made a joke about a horrible tragedy that befell a great President. To the Kennedy family, my heartfelt apologies. To Ms. Palin’s family, this would infuriate me if it were said about my family. Apologies to you as well.
He goes on, ensuring his Facebook followers understand just how ill-equipped he believes Palin is:
The comment was based on the fact that America has set the bar so low with what we accept as a possible leader. Just imagine Sarah Palin sitting in a negotiation with Putin, Ahmadinejad or Hu Jin Tao. Let’s all take a deep breath, and stop the death threats. Apologies all around.

He warned them (the British) that there were 500 soldiers down the road and that they better hide before they ( the Minutemen) find them. It was written in his journal for all to see.
A historian from Boston backed up Palin and the accuracy of her comments, earlier today.

Plus her answer was so bumbling and fumbling as the little hamster was spinning that wheel in her head, her body language made her look like she had no clue what she was talking about. If you can’t improv an answer, and at least with a little bit of authority, you have no business running the world’s most powerful country.

The best way to negotiate with such people is NOT to negotiate with them. It’s called peace through strength. Are you aware that under intense criticism Reagan offered elimination of ALL nuclear weapons? From the writings of George Shultz, Secretary of State, during the Reagan years….Reykjavik was “one of the most amazing events in diplomatic history.”
He further states: “At Reykjavik, Reagan and Gorbachev agreed that human rights would become a regular and recognized part of our agenda. They reached the basis for a first step of 50 percent reductions in Soviet and American strategic nuclear forces over a five-year period – something others considered impossibly ambitious. They reached agreement on even more drastic reductions in intermediate-range nuclear weapons, down from a Soviet total of more than 1,400 warheads to only 100 Soviet INF missiles worldwide. That reduction would cut by more than 90 percent the Soviet SS-20 warheads then targeted on our allies and friends in Europe and Asia. So yes…..Sarah would have been an expert in this area since she can “see Russia from her front yard.” Perhaps a thorough understanding of a situation and clear and logical ability to process an ever-changing landscape is much more important than being folksy!!!!!

Politics SUCKS because you have to bow to the wealthy, give them payoffs, (Tax incentives) so they will vote for you, and cause others to do the same, so you can give them tax breaks…etc…both partys freely hand out our tax dollars to those who least need them.
