Update: Cops Say Attacks at Wis. State Fair Won‘t Be Prosecuted as ’Hate Crimes’

West Allis, WI police have released a statement saying that incidents at the Wisconsin State Fair, where many witnesses say large groups of black men attacked white fair patrons, will not be prosecuted as “hate crimes.” TMJ 4 reports on the new information released by police:

“The police department issued a statement with details of arrests, saying ‘None of these incidents possessed elements that would compel the pursuance of a ‘hate crime’ prosecution.”

Witnesses reported attacks on the opening night of the fair that seemed to be racially motivated with young African Americans beating up white fair goers, but police say at this point there is not enough evidence to support such claims.”

The Blaze reported Friday on the mayhem that ensued at Wisconsin State Fair on Thursday night. Here are some accounts of what witnesses claim to have experienced:

“I had a black couple on my right side, and these black kids were running in between all the cars, and they were pounding on my doors and trying to open up doors on my car, and they didn’t do one thing to this black couple that was in this car next to us. They just kept walking right past their car. They were looking in everybody’s windshield as they were running by, seeing who was white and who was black. Guarantee it.”

“I saw them grab this wide kid who was probably 14 or 15 years old.  They just flung him into the road.  They just jumped on him and started beating him.  They were kicking him.  He was on the ground.  A girl picked up a construction sign and pushed it over on top of him.  They were just running by and kicking him in the face.”

The Justice Department defines hate crime as the “violence of intolerance and bigotry, intended to hurt and intimidate someone because of their race, ethnicity, national origin, religious, sexual orientation, or disability.”

“The purveyors of hate use explosives, arson, weapons, vandalism, physical violence, and verbal threats of violence to instill fear in their victims, leaving them vulnerable to more attacks and feeling alienated, helpless, suspicious and fearful. Others may become frustrated and angry if they believe the local government and other groups in the community will not protect them. When perpetrators of hate are not prosecuted as criminals and their acts not publicly condemned, their crimes can weaken even those communities with the healthiest race relations.”

      Well of course it won’t be prosecuted as hate crimes. When dozens of black youth attack only white people while yelling racial epiphets at them as they’re hitting them, it’s not a hate crime.       If rampaging blacks running through the streets are attacking only whites with slurs of “honkey” and “*******” and THAT isn’t a hate crime what is?

      As many others have pointed out: If the perps were white and the victims black every single arrest would include hate crime charges.

      TAKE NOTE! This refusal to offer justice to white victims is EXACTLY what causes other beatings and murders.

      Armed with the knowledge that Eric Holder will not prosecute “his people” and the police refusing to charge hate crimes, these people will continue on unabated. Any killings will be the fault of the white police cowards who refuse to punish the perps.

      This is what has turned me so heatedly against black crime and violence throughout the world.

      Just look at Britain right now. Already the radical leftists in the media are not blaming the thugs they’re excusing their vile actions with descriptions of the violence as being perpetrated by the “poor, disadvantage, and hopeless.”

      I would ask that they “Give me a break,” but I won’t. I make my own breaks. That’s why I joined a militia quite a while ago.

      A white can be charged for looking at a black cross-eyed as a hate crime. This is all BS. Obviously it was hate by black racists against whites. But in this convoluted world of the commies, ‘hate’ crimes, ‘racism’ can only be against blacks or browns.       This is just sick. It reminds me of when I was jumped by a group of blacks in the marine corps. I was beaten and kicked in the face 20+ times. I never even threw a punch once during the event. I never received justice, on the contrary I was prosecuted for almost 8 months as I commited a hate crime cause my attackers were black. American justice does not exsist… sorry my friends it doesnt. I see these videos and 911 calls and just feel sick inside. My prayers are out to the victims to to be able to find peace somehow even thow I know they most likely will not.

      And if it had been the other way around, it would have been prosecuted as hate crimes. But I agree with the post that they are just afraid of more attacks. What they don’t realize is that by not calling this what it was, a hate crime, they are encouraging it. I wouldn‘t be surprised if some white youths retaliated and then complained that their’s wasn’t hate either.

      We don’t need the thought police in America. If people were assaulted, the perpetrators should be prosecuted for assault. Their reasoning or motive is irrelevant.

      Of course it’s not a hate crime. It wasn’t white kids, tea partiers, or republicans performing the attacks on another protected group. My guess is this was simply a case of community organizing. OR a troop of junior union members, kinda like the boy scouts.

      BTW – whats really cool is Iowa had a similar incident at their state fair last year, they called it “beat whitey night”. To top it off, Iowa law prevents anyone from carrying concealed (with permit) on state fair grounds. So we opted not to attend this year.

      When a group attacks their victims and one of those attackers don’t make it out because they have a big hole in their chest will the victim be charged? Obviously you can’t depend on the law enforcement for justice. Maybe you can do like they did out in the mid west when the wolves kept coming and eating people live stock but the wolves were being protected as an endangered species. The cure was shoot shovel and shut up. If I see one of these punks get what they deserve I am going to pretend I’m blind when police question me.

      It’s time for the people in Wisconsin to stand up and demand equal treatment under hate crime protection. If the law is enforced equally than it‘s not the law and can’t be used against anyone. So I would give them two choices either enforce the hate crime statute or wipe it off the books. Then cut all the time given to others under the statute.

      This case and the other recent cases of black gangs randomly attacking innocent bystanders are prime examples of why there shouldn’t be a “hate crime” specification in any criminal statute. All crimes, especially those involving physical and property damage, include a lack of respect for the humanity of the victim, regardless of the race, creed, sex or national origin of the victim and the perpetrator. When we create a “hate crime” category we are only using the government’s power to establish further divisions among our citizens. Our current U. S. Attorney General has already demonstrated that his Justice Department doesn‘t think it’s possible for white Americans to be the victims of a “hate crime”, and they won’t prosecute such crimes. Under our U. S. Constitution and most state constitutions, each citizen is supposed to be equal before the law. This case is just further proof that local, state and federal elections have consequences and that to put our nation back on the right track we must work to remove all Socialist Culture of Death Elitists (Mostly Democrats) from every local, state and federal position of political, judicial, and bureaucratic authority.

Also, and I believe there was a story about this on the blaze, the riots, like most times of crisis, has brought ought ugly anti-ethnic violence and intimidation targeted at black Muslim minorities (and non-Muslim, although I’m sure they just assume they are all Muslim for the most part because a lot of them are).       This is exactly the kind of encouragement black and mexican and middle-east gangs in the U.S. have been awaiting. Now that they know the precedent has been set by the lackluster police in West Allis, Wisconsin, in response to racially-based attacks on whites at the State Fair, you can expect the same kind of activity in your states. Actually, this is, in fact, already taking place in some states, coast-to-coast. For example, I found out this evening that it has begun in Edmond, Oklahoma. At a Walmart Neighborhood Market, a young black woman with her son (maybe 13 or 14 years old), slammed into me and my shopping cart, knocking me into shelves and in so doing, hurting my left elbow. As she walked away, she said “Am I going too fast?“ I realized then that she was driver of the car that came within two inches of me as I was walking in the ”Walk Zone” between the parking lot and market. Since her driver’s window was down, I asked her, as she continued driving through the zone, if she didn’t think she was driving too fast, pointing down at the “Walk Zone” stripes on the pavement. Later, my friends reminded me that she easily could have pulled out a gun and shot me in the head. Instead, the woman parked her car, followed me into the store, and attacked me. The store manager told me afterwards – with a groan – that this is exactly what is happening daily. Lord, come quickly.

      Yep, Holder or his goons told them if they prosecuted them as hate crimes, they would cut off their federal grants. It is the money. They care more about money than justice. Just like all cops.

      Maybe not directly but you are right…they are pushing, probing, hoping that there will be a violent response back to this kind of activity- THEN it will be just what they are looking for- blame the white tea-party for the violence and the crack down will come on us- The communists, socialists and anarchists are in the seats of power- We are the ones on the outside banging on the door to be heard-and no one is listening.

      Welcome to the world of Social Justice…. where only whites are racist, blacks are mistreated, and all deserve reparations because some ancestor was sold by their own into slavery. Entire idea makes me sick to my stomach because by the time many black folks wake up, there will be no American Dream for them to take part in. Race riots are coming…arm yourself & prepare.     Wisconsin Governor just signed a conceal-carry law…… I believe it goes into effect in September. Will see if this is a good deterent for the nonsense.

      Bet that some of the rioters were union members! The police won‘t charge them with hate crimes because they would have remained in lockup and wouldn’t have been able to vote in yesterdays recall election in Wisconsin. Union leaders couldn’t have stood for THAT. All of the younger ones were union enforcers in training.

      We have to keep up the fight and take America back from the union thugs. Work hard politically for your state to pass a “Right to Work” law. Let the workers decide if they want to join a union or not.

      I agree with you – one should not paint ALL blacks with the racist label, just as Sharpton, Jackson, Obama, and Holder should not paint ALL of us in the Tea Party with the broad racist brush. (a case of ‘do as I say, not as I do’ ???). What I am waiting for is the black community to start speaking out (like the Philly mayor did) and CONDEMN these attacks and start cleaning up your own communities. If you are not part of the solution, then you are part of the problem.

      @Truth…I agree that no group should be painted with a wide brush and I applaud you for standing up and saying what happened was WRONG. That is more than our government at ANY level seems to be willing to do with this case. I also agree that there should no be a special hate crime law. All crime where there are victims are motivated by some kind of hate…hate for that person, group, belief and sometimes just plain hate of themselves make them take anger out on others. BUT, because the law IS on the books, and the police refuse to apply the same standards to the black offenders as they do to the white, obviously, something is wrong. What is saddest, is there were (and I say “were” because I can’t think of any now) great black leaders who literally gave their life for fair and equal rights, and MANY blacks of today are stomping all over their accomplishments and making their lives worse, not better. With the police not treating this as they should, they have given the green light to those thugs and others who now see there is no reprecussions to their actions. If the black community as a whole would stand up and voice their disapproval of this type of action, it would go a long way. I’ve never owned a slave or beat a black person (I’ve never beat anyone),,,I don’t “owe” anyone anything. I don’t deserve a beating, neither does my child. This will end badly. People of any color will only be pushed so far before they start pushing back…sometimes with bullet

      Exactly what I was thinking. Even if they decide this is not a “hate” crime (which it is) they can still charge them with crimes (assualt and battery etc) but the article doesn’t say they are going to get charged with anything. Let’s hope they do.

    Well of course they won’t be prosecuted as hate crimes. Black hurting whites is never a hate crime. That happens only if a white person hurts a black person. Also, the media puts these issues low-key. Wouldn’t want people in the U.S. to really know what’s happening. We have to read about it from news media in other countries to know what’s happening in our streets at home.

      One area I disagree, they are African americans and since Africa comes first, I believe we should correct our wrongs to them and get a one way ticket back to where they originated from. I believe this would stop all the hate they have for us. They hate us because they are forced to live in “white america”. I would pull out my retirement and make a contribution to the new law.
      What new law?
      The new law that states ALL people that have been transported to america against their own free will, within 24 hours will begin to be transported back to their home country. How do we know which country?
      Well, anyone that is labeling themselves african american goes back to africa. It is what is causing all the problems in the 1st place. We all contribute, buy them a boat ticket and apologize for ever bringing them here, give them $100 to get started in their “Home Land” where they can then be “Queens and Kings”.
      It would correct a wrong that was made to a group of people many years ago and we could all be happy.
      They would be happy that they are back in their home land where they should be.
      We would be happy that crime is lower, as well as welfare, food stamps, free housing, theft, robberies, flash mobs, drugs, etc, etc.

      It only makes sense to do this.
      WHY?
      WE are “the reason” this group is so unhappy and we are able to make this wrong that happened many years ago right for them- let’s help t

      Agreed I was hesitant to post b/c I knew someone would take the words out of my mouth! The worst part about this is since it wont be tried as a hate crime it will happen again. There are no consequences for the actions so now “you” have given these monsters a green light to do it again.

      Interesting that Michael Nutter spoke at his church, isn’t it? Did you see the video? Not all the wenches behind him applauded, did they? I think he really wanted to be more graphic with his comments. You just know the racists’ in the congregation wanted to lash out at him.
      Nutter already has his hands full in a city filled with black crime and hate. Philly has a sewerfull of black problems. Nutter is plenty worried about what is happening, and knows the city is on the verge of imploding.
      Have you heard of Camden or Newark, NJ, un-Pleasantville, NJ, Salem, NJ, Bridgeton, NJ, Millville, NJ? These are towns in just S. Jersey with hateful, rage-filled blacks and, filled with black crime.
      Don’t want to talk about it? OK, just sweep it under the rug. It’ll go away, right?
