Update: Dior Firing Anti-Semitic-Ranting Designer

PARIS (AP) — French fashion house Christian Dior says it is firing famed designer John Galliano after an online video showed him praising Adolf Hitler.

(Read our original post.)

Christian Dior said Tuesday Galliano has been immediately laid off, just days after he was suspended as its creative director pending an investigation into an alleged anti-Semitic incident in a Paris cafe last week.

A video posted online Monday showed Galliano, in a different incident, drunkenly telling a cafe patron “I love Hitler.”

The house said in a statement: “Today, because of the particularly odious nature of the behavior and words of John Galliano in a video made public this Monday, the Christian Dior house has decided to lay him off immediately and has begun firing procedures against him.”

Dior had came under pressure after Oscar-winning actress Natalie Portman, one of the company’s spokesmodels, said in a statement she “will not be associated with Mr. Galliano in any way.”

Christian Dior on Friday suspended Galliano pending an investigation. The house is scheduled to present its fall-winter 2011-2012 ready-to-wear show on Friday as part of Paris fashion week.

    Its not that I’m trying to pick out one little thing in history. The destruction of Russia under communism was about as little as the destruction of Europe under Nazism, millions of lives. The world has picked out a group, people of European ancestry, and condemed them for the Nazis and slavery in the US when plenty of other groups have committed atrocities of equal if not more worth than the Nazis and have also had slavery. My way of looking at it is I will begin to support the Jews when they support us. While serving in Iraq and afghanistan, I saw many nations at least making a presence and trying to help us. Where were the Israeli’s? Where were our so called best friends, that wonderful democracy in the middle east? When I read the voting statistics in America and see that 77 percent voted for Obama, and still overwelmingly supported Dems in 2010 I wonder why should I feel any connection to these people, they want to get rid of my way of life. When I look at how they attack Glenn Beck for merely mentioning people who happen to be jewish, Soros, Francis Piven, Edward Bernays, Andy Stern, Cass Sunstien, Walter Lippmann, ect. it makes me wonder are they above criticism. Why must we send Israel 3 billion in aid every year, what do they or have they ever done for us? So what if they are democracy in the middle east, I can’t migrate there or marry a jewish girl there if I wanted because its against the law, but they can come here and marry a christian. I’m sorry, but I’ve taken off the goggles the left put on each of us which trys to make you see everybody the same. The truth is that there are groups out there that simply support their own, and we’ve been trained to not think like that while everyone else around us does think like that and look where it has got us. I stick to my own, and I support my own, if you want to call me a nazi, a skinhead, or whatever word the left has taught you to reguritate then fine, it doesn’t bug me. I don’t hate Jews, I just don’t give a crap about them or any other group out there Arabs, Chinese, Mexicans ect. Let them handle their own business. I can put it like this, I wouldn’t die for them or any other group other than my own.

      I didn’t have a problem with Jews until I read history and learned the leading role they played in the Bolshevik party in Soviet Russia. Jews like Lenin, Trotsky, Kamenev, Serdlov, and many more who made up the Bolsheviks and the CHEKA led an onslaught on the Russian people and the Christian religion while excelling jews in the USSR to high positions and allowing synagogues to stay up. Not to mention the slaughter of the czar and his family by the jewish Yakov Yurovsky The jew Kaganovich was the one who carried out the Holodamor in the Ukraine which killed millions of christians. However we never hear about the jewish role in soviet Russia, wonder why? They don’t beat that into our skulls like they do Hitler and the Nazis do they. What gets me is not the fact Jews lead the destruction of Russia, but the fact that jews today cry about Nazis while at the same time they act as if they have never been guilty of equal crimes themselves in history against Christians in Russia. Pure hypocrisy. I’m sure you will give the assumed response, “anti-semite“ just like liberals label tea partiers ”racist,” but I urge you to do the research and read about the jewish role in the Bolshevik party before you give your trained reactionary response.

Many people already know this, but for those who don’t, this was the full original title of the evil racist-mysogynist Darwin’s book: “On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life”. Charlie (and many, many people of that time) were racists, and Charlie’s book came out just before the US Civil War. Hitler love Darwin, and so did Marx.

The problem is they are so arrogant and now blatant because they believe their revolution’s time has come. Just as Glenn always shows, their arrogance leads them to expose themselves. I bet he is shocked he wasn’t applauded, just like JW Booth thought he would be lauded as a hero for assassinating Lincoln. Make no mistake they ALL want the end of Israel. I usually respect Glenn’s viewpoints. I don’t always agree but I usually respect them because he does his homework on a subject. The one exception was THIS issue. Calling Darwin an evil racist mysogonist is not historically accurate. It’s simply a way to attempt to discredit his work. Somebody else perverting his theory and using that perversion to try to justify their ideology doesn’t say anything about Darwin.

      @ MORIAR and ROGUE…………..ROGUE “It’s simply a way to attempt to discredit his work. Somebody else perverting his theory and using that perversion to try to justify their ideology doesn’t say anything about Darwin.” I am afraid that no one needs to discredit his theory. Evolution when lived out in a consistent way will lead to these atrocities. The very engine that drives progressive evolution is merciless competition through death and extinction of less adept populations. Hitler and Sanger have not perverted his theory in any way shape or form and I challenge you to prove that statement. They simply lived it out to its logical conclusion in a most horrifyingly consistent way.

      MORIAR….”but then again the Bible was used to defend the Crusades and the Inquisition. Using something as a defense doesn’t mean that was the original purpose. ” AAAAhhhhhh but the Bible was not utilized in a consistent way with its teachings to carry out those injustices. Be very careful where you tread in your argument. Evolutionary theory was most definitely consistently used to perpetrate those atrocities.

      You also state that no one knows who the best adapted population will be. but this demonstrates your lack of understanding of the theory of evolution. It is not based on anything other than the strongest survive, if that is by brute force then that is who is most fit to survive according to the mechanism of Darwin’s evolutionary theory. Like in nature the one that is most brutal, most ruthless, most competitive will be the dominant species. You cannot assert morality in any way into the picture, not and remain faithful to the pure theory of evolution !!!!

      You may hold to your 2 stated positions but they are not logically consistent with one another at all they are inherently contradictory. Your assertion that the tech savoy or wealthy are the strongest or most fit is not a true assertion in regards to the strongest survive. If a third world country developed nuclear weapons and had the brutality to use them on the USA then they would by default be the stronger of the 2 groups you exemplified. You see evolution takes no sides and shows no favoritism or pity. It’s only winner is the one who survives regardless of the mechanism of survival. My argument is that there is a greater Truth that gives honor and dignity to all human life and that is the basis I can condemn Hitler and Sanger and the like. But you have an illogical and contradictory belief if you try to hold to both. Just as a disclaimer I have helped teach at the college level the theory of evolution and I do not hold to the theory of evolution personally because of its many inconsistencies. You cannot hold both positions and remain fully consistent to both beliefs. You have to compromise one or the other. You have no solid ground with which to condemn any of Hitler‘s actions and if you reread your post it sounds like you tried to condemn him not on the evil of destroying another human being but because he was ignorant of which human being to destroy simply because he couldn’t KNOW which one was more adapted (which is a wrong application of survival of the fittest anyway.)

      I think I see where we aren’t going to come to agreement. You keep refering to “purely” hold to a single idea. I can’t do that. I hold multiple ideas, many of which will contradict at different times. It falls to the lessons I‘ve learned and the morals I’ve been instilled with to decide which view/idea is dominant at any given time. My agrument against Hitler was based on the fact that we were discussing it from the perspective of Darwin’s journals, but in everyday life when I look at those actions, my respect for my fellow humans raises to the top and of course condemns his actions on a moral and emotional level. The fact that is up for debate about anyone is terrifying.

      @ MORIAR….exactly and my question for you is where did that compassion for fellow man originate? See in your intellect you try to hold to evolutionary teaching but you have been taught that all human life has inherent dignity and value. This is commendable in my opinion and right. But what you were taught collides significantly with the foundation of evolution and everything it is based on that you believe to be a scientific fact. My point is that one belief or the other has to be in error because both cannot be true based on the law of logic and Aristotle’s definition of truth. Not trying at all to be condescending or holier than thou or better or anything like that. Please do not misunderstand my discussion with you both just trying to get you to maybe challenge your thoughts about some things and there validity and consistency (or lack there of). If you find I am false or mistaken then just ignore what I have said.

      | think because of a lifelong fascination with quantum theory and sub-atomic laws I’m able to hold two seemingly conflicting views as both true.

      In regards to evolution this is very easy to do since I‘ve always looked to it’s laws as how species adapt to their environment. That’s not something humanity has done since before we started recording history. Once we started adapting our environment to ourselves (building houses, agriculture, etc) evolution no longer became an issue since everyone became, for the most part, the same. I may not have been clear on that earlier. And yes, this is me also admitting it was a flawed analogy with the tech savvy earlier.

      Also, I wouldn’t say “inherent” dignity, but the dignity of equality. I see other humans as the same as myself to a large enough extent that I treat them the same. the same as most animals don’t hunt their own.

      And on a personal note, I never detected any condescension and I hope I didn’t put any out myself. I love the fairly rare chance on here to engage in intelligent conversation. I don‘t think you’re wrong in your conclusions, I think we just have different process and come to different answers. Mine just happens to include multiple possible truths.

      @ MORIAR……..I agree with you on the discussion your candor of your views and your ability to be humble in your presentations is a testament to your character. I am a firm believer in challenging my own views. If what we hold is really true we should never be afraid to have it tried and tested by reason, facts, and logic. If it stands the test we should hold onto it dearly if it should fail then we should question our view. One of the greatest tragedies one can commit against themselves is not to live in error, but to hold onto it at all costs. I find that my pride is the single greatest obstacle to discovering truth and I believe if everyone was honest they would have to agree. I hold to a Universal Truth as revealed by God as creator of all things that is true at all times in all circumstances and through all cultures. I have found that this is the only position that has stood all tests of reason and logic as far as I am concerned. I used to be an atheist who would have espoused evolution at one time until I really began to honestly test my “beliefs” with reason, logic, and facts. Thank you for the engagement may you be blessed today.

      There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all argument, and which cannot fail to keep man in everlasting ignorance. That principle is condemnation before investigation………..

      @MORIARTY
      You‘ve referenced Evolution’s “laws” (I capitalize Evolution because it’s a proper noun, in this case your god) concerning how species adapt to their environment. Herein lies the crux of the controversy. The word “evolution” (and its associated usages) has become a catch-all term that is used in a multitude of contexts, however, the word in all it’s usages could be completely and accuratly replaced with the terms “adapt” and “develop”. When “speciation” occurs (a phenomenon Evolutionists love to use as proof that we “evolved” from slime) in a given genus, it is common, and maybe even correct, to say that evolution has occurred, however, the organism is still of the same genus. The change of an organism’s genus is impossible. Every observable biological “law” confirms this IRREFUTABLY. I’m not a scientist, and I may be in way over my head with you on a purely academic basis, but, I can figure out that if I cross a given species of cat with a different species of cat, a new species has “developed”, but, that new species is still of the same genus as its parents. I could do it jillions of times, but, the genus would never and could never change. It’s a testament to the infinite wisdom of the Creator. Sadly for the Evolutionist, his doctrine of life having “emerged” undesigned and by accident is unscientific, unscriptural, and illogical.

      @ DITTOHEAD…………..What you are citing is MICROEVOLUTON ( we can see this happen all the time with the examples you have given) versus MACROEVOLUTION ( which has never been observed and is simply a theory). The confusion comes in how one defines species. This is very difficult to do in some instances and is after all just a human invention just to help classify animals. The more easy description is what the Bible calls “kind”……..http://www.answersingenesis.org/articles/aid/v3/n1/zonkeys-ligers-wholphins Each animal or plant can reproduce after its own kind. In this instance we can see and it has been successfully done to cross a tiger and a lion called a liger. However, you cannot cross a lion with a bear, or a dog with a cat. It just does not happen. Microevolution is simply diversity or variations within kinds and happens all the time. This however does not give rise to a new “kind” ever. The fossil record is amazingly void of these types of transitions. This is why the theory of punctuated equilibrium (purposed by Stephen J Gould) was even adopted by modern evolutionists because they finally had to come up with some justification as to why there was such a void on the fossil record of transitional kinds. Hope this helps with some of the confusion that exists on this topic.

      @OTHERHAND
      I intentionally refrained from using the terms “micro” and “macro” evolution. I’m very well aware of all the phraseology used in these debates, which I’ve been involved in extensively over the years. I’ve read several big, boring books on the subject. Concerning the “Liger”, both lions and tigers are of the same genus. When they are mated, the offspring is of the same genus, even though a new species is developed. My point is, that doesn’t prove macro-evolution. Are we in agreement on that? They’re all the same “kind” of animal. When an Evolutionist demands that I give the definition of a “kind” (which is popular red herring they love to try to stump you with), I explain that a “kind” is a group of organisms that are of the same genus. Obviously taxonomy is far from a hard science, and, even though originally conceived by Carl Linnaeus, a Lutheran, it is now extremely biased toward Evolutionary thinking, e.g., the bearded dragon is of the genus Pogona, while the ankylosaurus is of the genus Ankylosaurus. They are the same kind of animal, but since Earth’s little “climate change” about 4400 years ago, they don’t get too big. The Evolutionists can’t get it through their thick skulls that “dinosaurs” aren’t exstinct, they’re just small. They somehow think it’s “scientific” to conclude that birds are their descendants. Well, good luck with that.

      @ DITTOHEAD………….We are in complete agreement. I didn’t mean to offend just wanted others to understand what we were talking about. When trying to stump you with defining “kind”. I would ask them to define “species” it isn’t as easy as most people think and you/I could flow with some very tricky questions and examples to prove our point. Keep speakin’ truth !!!!!!!!
