Update: McDonald’s Responds to Horrific Beating Vid as Police Charge 14-Year-Old Girl in Possible ‘Hate Crime’

New details are emerging about the the horrific video we posted earlier today showing a woman being brutally beaten by two others and then appearing to go into a violent seizure.
According to a statement by McDonald’s, the incident occurred at a Baltimore, MD franchise. According the Baltimore Sun, police know who the attackers are — and one of them is only 14. And according to someone alleged to have filmed the whole thing, the female victim is not a female.
“We are shocked by the video from a Baltimore franchised restaurant showing an assault,” the statement, posted on the company’s website, says.
“This incident is unacceptable, disturbing and troubling. McDonald’s strives to be a safe, welcoming environment for everyone who visits. Nothing is more important to us than the safety of customers and employees in our restaurants. We are working with the franchisee and the local authorities to investigate this matter. We are doing everything possible to make sure the right thing is done.” (The last sentence was added by McDonald’s after it published its initial statement.)
According to the Baltimore Sun, police are investigating the incident. So far, they have charged one 14-year-old in the attack:
The attack occurred April 18 in the 6300 block of Kenwood Ave., in Rosedale, county police said. Police said a 14-year-old girl had been charged as a juvenile, while charges were pending against an 18-year-old woman. Police said the incident “remains under investigation and the state‘s attorney’s office is reviewing the case.”
The police identified the victim as a 22-year-old woman who suffered cuts to her mouth and face. According to a police report obtained by the Sun, she is in “fair” condition.
However, the website The Smoking Gun has uncovered a very odd claim. According to the site, the person who filmed the video was in fact a McDonald’s employee named Charm Hackett. But, he says, the victim was not a woman:
Hackett did not respond to the site’s request for comment.
Still, police have not indicated that to be true, and have referred to the victim as female. The Sun reports that in the police report even one of the attackers indicated the fight was “with a woman over using a bathroom.”
According to State’s Attorney for Baltimore County Scott D. Shellenberger, the attackers could face hate crime charges.
“We just received this case, and the police department is continuing their investigation,” Shellenberger told the Sun. “If there is evidence that the crime was racially motivated, we will take a look at those charges and see if we meet those elements. We have the ability, if the facts are there, to upgrade the charges at a later date.”

As a white teacher who taught mostly in all black schools, I can tell you that I was often accused of trying to make the kids white because I expected the kids to speak in proper English and wanted them to be educated. Very sad that being educated, acting with respect, and following stereotypes is considered being white.

I agree with you that the people involved in the beating should be charged. I’m not sure if an attempted murder charge would fly (I consulted my law-student husband on this one) because they would have had to have planned to kill the man before they started beating him. However, they should certainly be charged with whatever degree of battery is the worst, and the people filming and egging them on should be charged with being an accessory to battery. While they did not have a responsibility to stop the incident, according to the law (although morals would say that they should), they did have a responsibility to not encourage them. Openly videotaping the incident, I think, would be encouraging them, with the way our YouTube culture is… in addition to what they were saying.
That being said, the “black community”, isn’t some hegemonic voting block. My family has never supported people like Al Sharpton or racists like that. Nobody speaks for them. I can’t speak for black Democrats (because I don’t know any, all my black friends and family members are conservative Christians), but even if Herman Cain or Alan West were to be president, they wouldn’t speak for us either.
I can speak for my husband; he thinks that the action in the video is wrong. My kids think that hurting people when it’s not self-defense is wrong too. So that’s 1.5 black people total that think that racism is wrong, and those actions are wrong. And also 2.5 white people in my family that think that racism is wrong ;-).
Although, I‘m a disgusting individual because I don’t think that every black person is an animal or acts like the people in this video (or supports them). So what do I know?

If McDonalds doesn’t fire every person on that shift, they deserve to be sued until that franchise is closed down. No more McDonalds restaurants in that area, no more assaults on the customers. Period.

Hackett claimed that the victim faked a seizure and, when cops arrived at the restaurant, “he got right up.”

If he still does not comply you call police and snap a pic of him with your cell phone for evidence. That is no excuse to beat someone. They put your food in a bullet-proof glass turnstyle and turned it until the opening faced you so you could get your food out. You paid via a small metal depression in the counter, designed so you couldn’t get a gun barrel pointed straight through it. Again, over 30 years ago. Due dilligence? Although the staff was protected against rampant criminal activites, if this fight had taken place there, none of the staff would have been able to assist. Very frightening.

Should be easy to find the employees and the victim. See if the victim knows the attackers and get them. We’re not talking rocket science here. The old woman stepping in did the right thing. The people who told her to GO because the police were coming are CLEARLY complicit and accomplices. Anyone who stood by and LAUGHED or cheered them on are equally accomplices. I understand for safety reasons not jumping in the middle of it, but the ONLY person who tried was an elderly woman against her own safety. These employees could have easily protected the girl by surrounding her the first time these girls walked off.

Regarding the Jew, people today are so in the dark to the role which they have played in International affairs. When Glenn Beck tells of the FBI undercover sting on the Weather Underground group which revealed their plan to exterminate up to 25 million Americans it made the hair stand up on the back up my neck because I know the leaders of the Weather Underground, the leaders of 20th century Communist Russia and I know what they have in common.
The simple answer is that I’ve studied the Jewish role in Communism and in particular their role in Communist Russia. Glenn did a show a few weeks back which he had numerous Russian immigrants and to a t they all said that they were fleeing Russia because of a rise in anti-Semitism over there.. Glenn failed to mention that these immigrants were Jewish and he failed to explain why there was a rise in anti-Semitism in Russia. The answer is really not that difficult but GB would never be allowed to share that on their Media.
Finally I will say that there are conservative Jews that love this nation as much or even more than I. They love freedom and liberty and would never do anything to jeopardize it and personally I even feel that they are the ones allowing GB to share much of his more controversial findings such as the show he did on the Federal Reserve yesterday. They understand the history of Nations and they are not ignorant of the current situation in America. If America was to collapse there’s a chance it would not go well with them. I suspect like most of us they don’t want to see a collapse as opposed to some of the Marxist Jews on the Left who are doing their best to bring it down.

I told her that there were alot of people looking to McDonald’s to make a statement. I don’t care if the young lady was not a young lady but a man. It makes no difference except it just adds to the hate crime. The manager of that restaurant and the employees should have escourted the v iolent girls out immediately, and locked the door. Everyone who was on duty that day needs to be fired! I can’t believe that the injured woman is in “fair condition” – just looking at the amount of hair pulled out and the seizure tells me that this woman/man will have a long journey ahead before they are better. Most likely she will have all sorts of nerve damage. I hope she sues the heck out of that McDonald’s…and soon. This type of violence happens everyday in schools across the country. A high-school kid told me today that when someone is attacked at school – if they try to defend themselves – not only is the attacker expelled but the victim. is expelled too. Talking about screwed up policy. We have got to get the federal government and their insance policies out of schools, and the only way this will happen is if we put pressure on congress to defund the federal deparment of education. What the stats show is that between 1996 and 2006 the percentage of black-on-white rapes is significantly higher than the percentage of white-on-black rapes. PICKLE did not mention black-on-black rape because intra-racial rape is irrelevant to this topic, so keep your white-on-white stats out of this discussion as well.
In any case, black rape victims triple the number of white rape victims (1.9 vs. 0.6, per 1,000 persons age 12+, respectively), which, given the comparitively very low percentage of white-on-black rapes, proves that most of the black rape victims are raped by blacks as well.
How’s that for an eye-opener (for you, that is)?

Most local papers still provide that information but I pointed out above my local paper removed the identities of the perpetrators in the most recent edition.. They were all gun crimes with shootings with the perpertrators still on the lose and they didn’t even provide a description?? lol

IT ALL BEGINS AT HOME AND IT SHOULD END AT HOME. I was on top of my kids all the time even though I worked AND went to college while they were growing up. I was so on top of them, I knew when they changed their mind and who their new friends were. I used discipline to keep them in line from NO CAR PRIVILEGES, to no game privileges, to NOTHING at all until they began seeing it my way. Of course, my main help was God and daily prayer for them. I would pray over them, and still do, DAILY and sometimes several times a day. DO YOU PRAY FOR YOUR CHILDREN, YOUR SPOUSE, AND YOUR FRIENDS on a daily basis? If you don’t, then your love is misplaced or you are ignorant to the fact that GOD IS WAITING TO HEAR FROM YOU and will intervene on your behalf if you have a problem or a prayer that needs HIS help. Im also aware that about 43 percent of rapes commited on black victims are by blacks. None of these things mean blacks are targeting whites for rape because they are white. None of this changes the fact that whites commit the majority of reported rapes. Also the vast number of unreported rapes makes it likely that whites commit just as many rapes per capita as blacks. The number of racist posts calling the majority of blacks violent animals on this site is truely disturbing.

Just out of curiosity I watched for the first time the full, The Birth of a Nation movie on hulu.
It was excellent, a little slow at first but just got better. For a 1915 movie it was remarkably good, and extraordinary that they had the vision to anticipate events like riot’s, one scene looked like the 1958 Watts riot with all the looting, another scene looked like a welfare line, something not started till Johnson 1960′s.
It’s like that movie could predict all of the race problems to come.

Guns were put in the constitution to protect citizens from oppressive government, not to walk around being vigilantes. I put my way through school working in bars/restaurants, made extra income working in them at night when young and single, managed a few over the years when I would get tired of writing code and need a break. I’ve never seen a bar fight escalate to serious life threatening injury until some citizen want a be hero pulled out a gun. Never have they made the situation better, 3 times I witnessed them injured innocent customers, and once killed a bouncer. If you don’t feel safe leaving your home without a gun, you should move, start a neighborhood watch, talk to police chief, sheriff, or mayor and demand something be done about it. If you don’t feel safe going somewhere to eat or shop, you shouldn’t eat or shop there.

I just quoted you the stats, so where do you get the 43%? It’s gotta be much higher, since reported white-on-black rapes are comparatively very low, yet there are three times as many black victims as white victims.

There are no stats of black-on-black rape vs. black-on white, so it’s hard to tell whether that is true or not. Post Obama, we don’t have ANY stats, let alone stats by race.
