Update: Michigan Man Who Went on Killing Spree Shoots Himself(AP) GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.— A Grand Rapids man who shot and killed seven people before turning a gun on himself had a criminal history and penchant for violence that spanned nearly two decades.

Kent County Circuit Court records show 34-year-old Rodrick Shonte Dantzler was charged as a juvenile in 1992 with breaking and entering and car theft. His mother was among four women who sought protective orders against him in the mid- to late 1990s.

He spent three years in prison after shooting at people in a car in 2000.

On Thursday, police say he fatally shot two former girlfriends and five members of their families, including his own daughter. He also wounded another ex-girlfriend and a male motorist.

Dantzler later killed himself in a home where he held hostages.

      Half the stories on here are how people that want to cap the deficit are racists calling for black children to die. You can‘t criticize the president because you’re racist. You had Nancy Pelosi and a bunch of black Congress people walk through a crowd of Tea Party people, filled with cameras and they “alleged” the N-word was used, yet no evidence. That was top story news for weeks.

      And this guy guns down 7 white people.. You have 50+ black kids flash robbing stores in every city.. You have a mob chanting “Let’s kill all the white people” in Peoria..

      And you ask US why we must always comment on race?

      The reason is because we take the blame all the time and ALL YOU CAN DO IS THINK ABOUT RACE.

      Sorry, Black Mantra, but its just that I’m used to seeing the race baitors out and about defending this type of guy. The same old excuses.like:
      He was abused.
      He didn’t have positive male role model.
      His mother was on welfare.
      The underpaid teachers couldn’t spend more time to teach him to read better like our President.
      And so on.
      Now its nothing but the sounds of crickets.
      In a perfect world no one would see differences in color. Just right and wrong. Good and evil. But I know Jesus has already overcome the world.

    The main theme being pushed by the Grand Rapids Press newspaper is that we (i.e., society) don’t offer enough help to people with mental problems. The killings had nothing to do with his own free will, but rather the lack of mental health facilities is to blame. You see, according to the GR Press, there is no such thing as “good” and “evil.”
