UPDATE: Movie Star Mila Kunis Accepts Marine’s YouTube Invitation to Military Ball

As we reported on Saturday, Sgt. Scott Moore, of the 3rd Battalion 2nd Marines in Musa Qala, Afghanistan, took to YouTube last week to make a fanciful request: he wants movie star Mila Kunis, from “That 70s Show” and “Black Swan,” to be his date to the Marine Corps. Ball on November 18th in Greenville, North Carolina. At the time, it may have been just a dream. But now, Moore’s dream has come true.

First, the video request:

“Hey Mila,” he says. “It’s Sergeant Moore, but you can call me Scott. I just wanted to take a moment out of my day to invite you to the Marine Corps Ball on November 18th in Greenville, North Carolina with yours truly. So take a second, think about it and get back to me. OK. Goodbye now.”

She has thought it about it. And the answer is, “yes.”

Fox News asked the popular actress if she would do it during an interview over the weekend that also featured Justin Timberlake. After some back and forth, in which Timberlake urged her to do it, she gladly confirmed she would be Moore’s date:

“Have you seen this? Have you heard about this? You need to do it for your country,” Timberlake asked Kunis excitedly, before sending out a direct message to Moore. “I’m going to work on this, man. This needs to go down.”

After questioning her publicist if she knew about the invitation, the clearly flattered 27-year-old actress agreed.

“I’ll go, I’ll do it for you,” she said, turning to Timberlake. “Are you going to come?”

“They don’t want me! They want you,” Timberlake responded. “You need to do it for your country.”

Kunis nodded.

“I’ll do it,” she confirmed.

Ooh-rah, sergeant. Ooh rah!

You’d spuprised at the number of great young kids in the entertainment world. Problem is you only hear about the losers. Timberlake has been a great person his whole life. ei St Jude’s Foundation and other worthy causes..He has visited thr troops for years along with some names that would floor you. Here’s to those young people for not taking drinking the KOOLAID…Maybe we have a chance after all….Semper Fi young SGT.

Totally cool thing to do, though I doubt this points to anything especially good about Kunis or Timberlake. They’re both really likable, but they‘re promoting their movie where they just ’do’ each other with no love and no commitment, not exactly classy. Still, very cool. I hope they have a great time and she learns a few things about our honorable service members. Oo-rah!

That’s way cool! Mila is a doll, and a quick study. I understand she came to this country as a child from Russia(?), learned the language (very well) by watching TV, and got hired for “That 70′s Show” when she was 13. When asked if she was 16 (legal age to work), she cleverly replied, “I will be.”

Loved her in Book of Eli.

I have new found admiration for Mila. After an image search produced photos of her wearing a “Barak the Vote” t-shirt, she lost my respect. I hope they both have a great time. Way to go Sgt. Moore! Be safe out there.

She is almost old enough to stop acting like a silly child. Maybe this will be a step in that direction. A couple more actors move it a reasonable direction and I may be able to tolerate a movie again.
Anyone have a list of actors that I can watch without supporting disgusting parasites?

Good play Marine and nice response young lady.

OOOORAH! Improvise, overcome and adapt. In the Marine Corps, NCO’s (Corporals and Sergeants) lead the way. This Sergeant of Marines is setting the example. Semper Fi, Sergeant, stay safe so you can enjoy the ball and show Ms Kunis what the Corps is all about.

Never said ALL actors are against the military,,,,,Just 99% of them are, and of the 1% who aren’t, only the most sucessful ones can eve afford to let anyone know that they are….

I think you are confusing liberal with anti-military. While liberalism tends toward anti-militarism that does not make all liberals naturally anti-military, let alone anti-soldier. Only the kook fringe spat on our soldiers, though liberals are much quicker to accuse our soldiers of abuse in the abstract. But put a name or face to a specific soldier and many liberals who didn’t mind impugning them as a class are quick to praise them as individuals.

Consistency isn’t a great hallmark of liberals, but in this case that’s a GOOD thing. It allows for them to be better than their ideology.

Mila may be nothing more than an Obamaton, but Timberlake was the one who urged her into this. Even when she reneges, he’ll still have risen in my estimation.

Only thing I ever saw her in was when she worked with a legitimately good Muslim to make the movie about 2014…

QUESTION IS WHO WILL BE NEXT…

Now that soldiers have found out this strategy works, you know there will be more, and they should be considered. They are American heroes.

NOTE: Rush Limbaugh has now put the pressure on Republican Leaders: If they raise taxes and default on their promises, there will be a third party, whether helpful or hurtful: http://tiny.cc/8hot2
