Update: Schultz Apologizes For Editing Perry Clip Out of Context…Sort of

On Tuesday nightt, we showed you the unbelievable hatchet job that Ed Schultz did on a Rick Perry clip, taking a Perry statement on the debt and making it seem that Perry was making a racist remark. He wasn’t. And now Schultz has been forced to apologize. But in true Schultz fashion, it’s the type of apology usually reserved for the unapologetic.
“[W]e did not present the full context of [Perry's] statements and we should’ve,” Schultz said on his Tuesday show, “it was a mistake and we regret the error.”
So far so good. But as the apology continued it became clear that Schultz wasn’t going to apologize for suggesting that Perry is racist or for accusing Perry of race-baiting. Instead, he doubled down: “The full context of all these other statements show who he really is.”
Mediaite may have summed up the apology best: “While Schultz tried to downplay the apology by cushioning it in attack, detractors will be sure not to forget the incident, particularly considering that the apology, while swift, was likely far too vague and incomplete to absolve him.”
Now watch for yourself below:

Report Post »Well..,I believe he is being covered because he is speaking and firing up those that voted for President Dunham in 2008.
Ed is only one of many who purport to be journalists but deal in propaganda.
They ALL need to be called out for their lies.
Ignoring them makes them stronger. The house of “The Fourth Estate” has been taken over by rats and roaches.
Sunlight is the only thing that scares them. For too long they’ve been allowed to do their dirty work in the dark. No more.

Now don‘t care if it’s true or not, they will just fly with it.. Case in point, Palin and the “ I can see Russia from my backyard ” She never said that, yet Tina Gay on saturday night live parroted this statement in full Palin garb… There are believes till this day that she said it because of the SNL clip.. You don’t believe me ? Still think Palin said that ? Google it and get back to me.. Try to find it…

And taking something out of context (the black cloud means Obama) is something the left is real good at.

Well it’s pretty clear you have no facility with logic.
Perry DID NOT accuse anyone of treason.
He said, and quite accurately, that the act of destroying the US by
financial stupidity was “ALMOST” treason.
2nd – That was an OPINION of the seriousness of real actions taken by leftist wingnuts.
Fat Ed , on the other hand, was distorting the facts and manipulating recordings to SLANDER a man.

I guess MSNBC is so desperate for ratings that they will let him do or say anything short of col-blooded murder to try to get ratings and only take action when the outcry is too loud to ignore or when even their liberal cohorts complain.

Posted on August 17, 2011 at 8:32amThe establishment likes to pretend the Fed is “independent within the government” and Congress can take control of the money supply at any time.
Perry did not say he was opposed to printing money – expanding the money supply and creating inflation – he said he was opposed to it “at this particular time in American history.”
He can safely talk about the Federal Reserve and the money supply because most Americans are by and large clueless on the matter. Perry did not dare challenge the validity of the Federal Reserve or its money-out-of-thin-air printing machines. He is simply repeating a mindless mantra designed to win an election.
