Update: Ted Williams Claims His Daughter Attacked Him

As we reported earlier, homeless man-turned-viral video sensation Ted Williams was taken to a local police station after he and his daughter erupted in a family feud in a Hollywood hotel Monday night. According to Williams, it was his daughter who became agitated and launched a physical assault on him.

Shockingly, Williams’ daughter disagrees:

While Williams says his daughter’s account is inaccurate, his daughter claims he’s been drinking. This is obviously a private family dispute that is sadly being played out on national television, but for the sake of everyone involved, I hope fame hasn‘t gone to Williams’ head.

Sad, and really, throwing a homeless man into the national spotlight is not the way to do him favors. But now that they did, they should give him the help he needs.

No big surprise here…. just another “reality celeb” that the rest of us are gonna have to hear about for ever more. This guy’s a perfect example of the “redistribute wealth” idea…. in the end, the same folks will be “rich” and the same folks will be “poor”. No amount of fame or money can change someone. Sorry to burst your bubble, Libs.

This is truly sickening. I don’t begrudge him his “15 min”, just let it be over. Think Rome. We can’t take our eyes off of a story like this. Most in this country are just waiting for him to fall.

Go to work Ted and step back from the light.

After watching Ted Williams himself recently describe this incident, it is possible this may have a little to do with relatives learning how to not drag each other down. Just as most homeless people have mental challenges, so can family members drag down a relative who is trying to rise above. It’s very very common, and can be so ingrained into their mindset, these strong feelings can never ever be overcome. Ever.

This includes family members thinking they come first, even if a relative has married and created their own family with children.

Hence, the outburst and lashing out.
Time takes time. Let the man settle his brain around this new life of his, and things will work out. Could be some toxicity in his interpersonal relationships with these people. And with todays culture of GIMMEE GIMMEE GIMMEE, I’m not surprised. Maybe while he was in recovery, these people continued to be sick, angry, and spiteful – their ‘recovery’ never happened – their choice.
Maybe, we all just need to ignore it. Someone is keeping this story alive – it’s obviously sauteeing in the pan quite nicely for TMZ, et al.

My take on this is as follows. He seems more believable than the daughter does. Think about it, here’s a guy plucked up off the streets, having been homeless, given instant fame and some fortune and not surprisingly, in steps “daughter.” Most likely she didn’t give a damn about him two weeks ago but now that there might be some cash in it for her, is back in the picture. It’s like you here about lottery winners, relatives come out of the woodwork once a winner is announced. Daughter-dearest seems like she’s “hustling” ol’ Ted. My final point on this would be to tell daddy Ted, cut her loose IMMEDIATELY before she CLEANS YOU OUT and has your butt back out on the street……Run as fast as your legs will carry you AWAY!

Being the youngest daughter of an alcoholic father (now deceased), I understand the frustration from the daughter’s point of view. My father didn’t force himself back into our lives. He went through a life-changing experience for the better; and as we saw the transformation within his attitude, it was only then that we accepted him back into our lives (all four of his kids). It took a great deal of time and counseling. Just when we were getting to know our dad, he died very suddenly as a result of a heart attack. I’m inclined to also give Ted Williams the benefit of the doubt. Lastly, I also believe that the rest of us need to stay out of it.

Women’s domestic violence against men is grossly under reported, while male victims are still routinely being ignored by the taxpayer funded domestic violence industry. Credible research overwhelmingly shows that the ratio of domestic violence to be least 50/50 between women & men. http://tinyurl.com/3sakk According to one study by researchers who work at the CDC, in 70% of domestic violence incidents, where the d.v. is not mutual, it’s women who initiate the d. v. http://tinyurl.com/yzm9xhe D.v. law follows a gender feminist agenda over facts & does great harm to many innocent men & also many violent women as shown in “Los Misandry” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SAmOxvudpF8

Deaths of little children, killed by their mothers is egregious, yet the taxpayer funded, domestic violence industry disingenuously tries to make us believe that women don’t abuse men too. According to the U.S. Dept of Health and Human Services and DOJ statistics, more kids are killed by neglect and abuse in a year (1,760 in 2007), than all the female intimate partner homicides in a year. Mothers are the single largest group of kid killers, according to HHS, and they have a rate twice that of fathers. Nowhere near the money is spent to protect kids from kid killing mothers as is spent by the domestic violence industry to protect women. The taxpayer funded d.v. industry is a bastion of misandrist vilification, falsely accusing men of being the overwhelming cause of d.v., and empowering violent women to commit further domestic violence. The corruption of the taxpayer funded, domestic violence industry is characterized in “Los Misandry” at Youtube.

Domestic violence will never end as long as the whole truth about it is misrepresented to comply with feminist ideology. V.P. Biden recently called violence against women, “the very worst abuse.” The very worst abuse is valuing one life less than another for having been born the wrong gender. Under domestic violence law, the wrong gender is men. Shelter and services are virtually non-existent for male victims of domestic violence. Options out of a bad relationship, that women have, are often not available to men. Men wind up gender profiled and falsely accused by the taxpayer funded, domestic violence industry, because of gender feminist ideology controlling the d.v. industry. Men are often battered by domestic violence, and then battered again by the taxpayer funded, domestic violence industry as shown in “Los Misandry” at Youtube.

From the news coverage I’ve seen, Mr. Williams has fathered and abandoned an entire tribe or at least a small country of infants and left behind who knows how many wives. Homeless or not, everyone is expected to face their responsibilities; now or at some later date when things change for you. Why would anyone think that a small measure of success would somehow change the behaviors of Mr. Williams? I don’t know who started what in the fight between he and his daughter; that’s a police matter. I am sure there were harsh words between everyone involved. No one should condone violence, but his children and family have every right to be angry and get a piece of the pie. Can you say back child support?

After 23 years I think perhaps some family counsiling is in order before they “kiss and make up”. He doesn’t know how to be a father and the resentment on the other side of the family has to be enormous after they struggled to keep their heads above water. He needs to cash in part of his new found fame and write the mother of his children (and fostered) a check thru mediation.
