Update: What‘s Killing Arkansas’ Wildlife?

While no one is absolutely certain what’s behind the mysterious recent deaths of thousands of birds and fish in Arkansas (and now hundreds in Louisiana), Arkansas state officials are at least initially blaming a recent thunder and lightning storm and celebratory fireworks from New Year’s Eve celebrations.

“There were multiple thunderstorms that night and for several days that week,” said Dr. George Badley, state veterinarian for the Arkansas Livestock and Poultry Commission. “Red-winged blackbirds fly in large groups and if they got pulled into a thunderstorm, likely lightning struck them. That would be my best guess,” he said.

Some of the animals’ carcasses have been sent to laboratories to see if a more definitive cause of death could be pinned down.  The Washington Post reports that initial analyses have ruled out poison as a cause of death and the Wall Street Journal suggests that loud noises may have scared the birds to death.

“Almost every one of [the birds]…had multiple internal hemorrhages which would mean that it was trauma, not a disease process,” Badley said. “Their stomachs were empty, which would rule out toxicity from eating some kind of poison grain.”

By Monday, the U.S. Environmental Services estimated that up to 3,500 birds tumbled from the sky over Beebe, Ark., a town of 5,000 located 40 miles northeast of Little Rock.

Surprisingly, it’s not the first time birds have dropped from the sky in the region. In 2001, lightning killed multiple ducks and in 1973, hail knocked birds from the sky at Stuttgart.

Update: What‘s Killing Arkansas’ Wildlife? But if a severe storm killed the state’s birds in the sky, what caused the death of hundreds of thousands of fish, just 125 miles away in the Arkansas River?

So far, estimates put the number of dead drum fish at 100,000 in a 20-mile stretch of the river near a town called Ozark. But officials from the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission say the mysterious deaths of birds and fish are unrelated.

Dr. Andrew Goodwin of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff’s Aquaculture and Fisheries Department says “fish kills” are fairly common and does not believe test results will link the two incidents. Goodwin plans to test the drum fish for diseases, viruses and possible parasites.

He believes that environmental changes — like drastic fluctuations between cold and warm weather — may have shocked and killed the fish.

“My first impression was given that it’s only one species and that it happened very suddenly, it has something to do with a strong environmental influence and probably not anything related to toxins,” Goodwin said. “The thing that is likely to impact them is rapid temperature changes, we have had some very cold weather and very warm weather.”

Goodwin said it will likely take at least a week to finish all of the testing on the fish.

While the jury remains out as to what exactly caused such widespread wildlife deaths, some have conjured up some interesting conspiracy theories.  Alex Jones’ InfoWars.com suggests secret government bio weapons testing may be to blame.   Google searches for “bird government testing” were among the hottest on the web by Monday afternoon.

Indeed, last weekend‘s wildlife casualties wouldn’t be the first time an outbreak of bird deaths was the fault of the government.  An eerily similar incident last year took New Jersey residents by surprise when the U.S. Department of Agriculture purposefully poisoned thousands of “nuisance” birds, but failed to tell anyone:

Update: What‘s Killing Arkansas’ Wildlife?

Some environmentalists are also putting out their own theories, claiming that global warming is to blame.  Earlier this year, climate alarmists were also quick to blame global warming as the culprit behind unexplained deaths of Arctic seabirds.

Yes, it is not the first time birds have dropped out of the sky. But, in such large numbers and in such a relative small area. Really, just how many ducks and hail knocked birds fell from the sky in 1973 and 2001? Its curious that a number wasn’t mentioned.

    Questioning with boldness.

Just an observation, has anyone noticed that these incidences excluding Louisiana, are happening in the same area that some 500 earthquakes hit this last year in Arkansas ? Something is happening and I don’t think its a disease or fireworks or anything else of that nature, I think there is something much larger happening under that area of the earth which may be affecting the wildlife as well as the wildlife in Louisiana, its something not seen and could have much greater implications than what the officials are willing to admit. Don’t forget how honest and truthful our government and local authorities are, especially when they try to tell us that it was fireworks.

i was born in 1950. i remember all my life fish kills and other strange stuff. but one thing i have learned in my life is that when you have a problem, to begin to find an answer , it’s generally best to start with the simplest things first. country mama says “ something had to happen ”. well, yeah. but do we need to start finding the solution by jumping to conclusions? to quote freeindeed. “i think it was something supernatural. bad supernatural “. c’mon, have we really become that silly. i live in rural arkansas. the other day i saw a dead deer laying by the side of the road. by the logic on this in these posts, i should not have thought that it got hit by a vehicle. i should have thoughtthat this can,t be the only dead deer in ar., so it must be an attempt by the aliens to work with osama bin laden to destroy a food source that we may need in an emergency. what the hell ever happened to common sense in this country. you folks will never survive in a bad situation because you are not able to begin your analysis with the simplest solutions first. i guess what it comes down to is people are so afraid of everything around them that they can no longer have a lucid thought. one thing i do know is that as long as you keep thinking like this, they have you by the ba**s.

You know, DCPatriotDeb, I thought about the chemicals. My friend mentioned something to that effect but I just don’t know. Too many unrelated places, it would have to be chemicals that traveled great distances via condensation or tides/currents, in a relatively short time for it to have affected inland waterways, would it not? Did the birds ingest it while down south for the winter, then fly back to ARK (early), pooing in the water where the bottom feeding fish ate it and they all died more or less simultaneously because it was THAT toxic? And in Maryland, Kentucky, and Brazil too? Louisiana would be a given if it were Gulf chemicals, but I would kind of expect to see it in TX, MS, AL, FL too? Weren’t they worrying about currents carrying the oil right around Florida and up the Atlantic coast at the time? I wonder why it skipped SC? I don’t know–I no longer do “coincidence.” But then I’m no “expert” either so maybe I don’t know a thing…

Angelite, are you not a little sick of “experts” by now? The cleanup crews in Beebe were wearing hazmat suits with gas masks. Gloves, maybe even a mask, but bio suits? I’m sure that really freaked the residents out! At any rate, there are too many experts talking out of their rear ends lately for me to take much of it without lots of salt.

I have been thinking for the past day or so that the death of the former bio/chem expert and the FISHY/bird thing might be related. They really think we’re stupid and not paying attention or able to put 2and 2 together. Also interesting that there is supposed to be a new major investigation into insider trading and the deceased was involved in investigating same in the past. Killed two birds with one stone, maybe. We probably will never know whether it was some cool new top secret toys or what with the wildlife, and I doubt we’ll ever know the truth about Wheeler either. I do know, however, that I no longer believe in “coincidence.”

Well, STMICHELOB, not exactly all the same area. Dead fish in Chesapeake Bay, and the coast of Brazil — is sort of implies it’s not weather related, since they just had their summer solstice. Birds in LA, AR, and KY — kind of a large area. Maybe the birds and fish are not related. Maybe the Northern fish are not related to the Southern fish. It seems to be an El Nino year (lots of rain where there shouldn’t be, and not much where there should). Let’s wait and see how the experts explain this one.

A shocking report prepared for Prime Minister Putin by the Foreign Military Intelligence Directorate (GRU) states that one of the United States top experts in biological and chemical weapons was brutally murdered after he threatened to expose a U.S. Military test of poison gas that killed hundreds of thousands of animals in Arkansas this past week.

According to this report, John P. Wheeler III, Special Assistant to the Secretary of the Air Force, Washington, D.C. from 2005-2008, when he became the Special Assistant to the Acting Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Installations, Logistics and Environment, was found brutally murdered and dumped in a landfill, and as we can read as reported by the Fox News Service:

Delaware Police are investigating the apparent murder of a former Bush official who also championed the fund-raising effort to build the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on the Mall in Washington, D.C. Wheeler’s body was found in Wilmington on Friday.

According to police, somebody initially reported that the body was dumped out of a refuse truck, which would have been coming from Newark, onto the landfill. Newark Police spokesman Lt. Mark Farrall told Fox News that nobody had reported Wheeler missing before he was found.

The Wilmington News Journal reported that Wheeler was last seen riding an Amtrak train from Washington to Wilmington, Del., last Tuesday.

Wheeler’s military career included writing one of the most important manuals on the effectiveness of biological and chemical weapons which led to his being hired in 2009 as a consultant to the Mitre Corporation, whose aviation system development department, the GRU reports, is at the forefront of creating the computer command and control systems used by the U.S. Air Force in their fleet of aerial spraying planes.

These aerial spraying planes, this report continues, are based at the Little Rock Air Force Base in Arkansas that over the past few months have been involved with ‘test dispersants’ of poisonous gasses in the Afghanistan War Theater using chemical weapons stocks obtained from Iraq and held at the Pine Bluff Arsenal, also located in Arkansas.

Important to note about the Pine Bluff Arsenal, which calls itself “America’s Arsenal“, is that it is one of the World’s most specialized munitions and chemical-biological defense products and services bases which Russia had previously accused of not fully reporting the chemical agents removed from Iraq, between 2003 and 2008, and taken to the U.S. for testing and subsequent destruction.

According to this report, the U.S. relocated from Iraq to the Pine Bluff Arsenal an estimated 63,000 metric tonnes of the poisonous gas Phosgene that is described as one of the most feared chemical weapons ever used due to its ability to literally cause the lungs and respiratory system to explode.

Nearly immediately after Russia accused the U.S. this past summer of not fully destroying Iraq’s Phosgene poisonous gas stockpile the Pine Bluff Arsenal began an ‘accelerated’ disposal programme injecting it deep into the ground in central Arkansas, but which, unfortunately, since this past September, has caused over 500 minor earthquakes to occur raising the concerns of their local population.

More frightening, however, is the claim made in this report that the Americans have also begun shipping ‘massive quantities’ of Iraq’s Phosgene poisonous gas stocks to Afghanistan where when used they will be able to say they had nothing to do with it, and believe no one will be able to prove it either.

Important to note about Iraq’s Phosgene poisonous gas stocks are that they are no longer able to be made by any Western country, including the United States, which makes its value as a Weapon of Mass Destruction (WMD) incalculable, especially in a war situation like Afghanistan where the enemy forces are firmly entrenched in hostile terrain.

To the direct reason for Wheeler’s murder, this report says, was this past week’s transport of Iraqi Phosgene poisonous gas aboard a U.S. Air Force KC-767 tanker aircraft from Little Rock Air Force Base enroute to Afghanistan that shortly after takeoff had a ‘critical malfunction’ of its aerial spraying computer directed command and control system over central Arkansas causing the deaths of thousands of red-wing blackbirds.

According to U.S. reports an estimated 5,000 of these birds were killed outright and were quickly removed by U.S. Environmental Services workers wearing hazmat suits and gas masks. Another U.S. report states that cause of death to these thousands of birds was “trauma in the breast tissue, with blood clots in the body cavity and a lot of internal bleeding” which this GRU report states is consistent with Phosgene exposure.

Even more chilling than this incident is this GRU report stating that it was the second “accidental” release of Phosgene poisonous gas in as many days, as the day before, this same U.S. Air Force KC-767 tanker aircraft also had a “critical malfunction” causing a release over the Arkansas River that killed over 100,000 fish.

Upon Wheeler discovering what was happening with Iraq’s Phosgene poisonous gas stockpiles, this report continues, he traveled from his home in Delaware to Washington D.C. where he openly confronted and threatened to expose the Pentagon and White House Officials responsible. Being a Vietnam Veteran who was responsible for having the famous memorial to that war erected, Wheeler was more than knowledgeable about the United States massive chemical and biological attacks in that conflict and had vowed to not let it happen again.

Sadly, but all too common in the United States these days, when Wheeler threatened to go public with what was happening he was targeted for death, and as a “sign” to anyone else thinking of going against the regime, had his body dumped in a garbage pit for all the World to see.

Today, another great American was murdered in an effort to save his country from destruction. Sadly, his death will go barely noticed; the American people seem no longer to care as they continue to seek their solace in their propaganda media lies rather than confronting the brutal truth about the monsters they have let rule over them.
