It took a direct attack by Japan to get us into WWII.
Kosovo’s civil war was made to sound like a genocide the terms like “Ethnic Cleansing” and “Mass Graves”; so, that we would have an excuse to get involved – even though less than 4,000 people had died in the conflict up to that point.
By contrast, progressives lambasted Bush 41 for sending troops into Somalia to try and stop a genuine genocide that was going on there. When Clinton came into power he reduced funding and weakened the supply lines while calling for a hasty exit, resulting in the heads of American Solders being dragged through the streets, and the “Black Hawk Down” incident.
Continually, liberals and progressives pick on WMDs not being found in Iraq and blame GWB for all the “Needless” deaths in Iraq, while ignoring the fact that our actions in Iraq have freed it from a genocidal dictator that killed millions of his own people, many tortured to death.
The fault GWB for not putting more troops in Afghanistan; but, simply adding troops has not helped matters there. Without a strategy to go along with those troops and a solid plan to get Afghans defending themselves better it’s simply becoming another long hard slog with increased us casualties and no exit plan.
Conservatives care about individual human lives and rights; while, progressives only pay lip service.

Trumpka said recently that he got into the unions to “push a social agenda” not to negotiate wages and benefits. The union leaders don’t even care about the members that pay the dues.

Not to mention it is a brilliant tool to stay in power. Have most of the world dependent on your authority for their survival and well being. They’ll never rise up. And when our KING dollar becomes worthless and loses world reserve status, and we have to base our currency on something — LAND! They buy us out, not a shot fired, or damn thing we can do about it, except DEFAULT. It is when they come to collect on our debts that we will see about the 1 million man army. I don’t know if anyone remembers the Wiemar Republic, Glenn did a few shows on it, but they ended up printing so much money, the mark collapsed, and they had to base it on LAND! Then it all imploded on them, and then the rise of a madman named Adolf! We are damn close to that hyperinflation, and if we don’t turn this country around 180 degrees and fast, we are gonna hit that iceberg head on, we’re scraping the sides on smaller ones now! There does look to be some glimmer of hope for a consumer comeback, will it be sustained? However, the unemployment picture has to change as well. I don’t see fighting the Chinese as a near or mid term problem, I do see fighting extremism, in all forms, as a near term thing. Will congress raise the debt ceiling? I think they have to, but with Bal Budget Amendment, and debt no more than 50% of GDP..

The elite’s chosen media will ensure the people are educated on issues and on proper thought. Trumka, likely a useful idiot, thinks he is one of them. Our media outlets, to earn their seats at the table, are in over drive shaping public opinion to usher in a new world order. After all it was the dream of Walter Cronkite, the news media’s idol, to see America brought under a “world governance” .
The only problem Trumka has is to be the last man standing when the communists, socialists, anarchists, marxists, Islamists, and clueless, who have teamed up to bring Egypt and ultimately the USA down, turn on each other dividing up the booty.

Unions are backed by our federal government and federal law.. they get their money from the members who if they DON‘T pay DON’T work.. Notice Union dues are tax deductible.. the UNIONS were suppose to make sure that the work place was safe.. NOW we have OSHA another government drain on the people… Here‘s what MOST people don’t get.. IF you make $5 and hour and they make the min. wage $6 an hour EVERYONE gets that raise THAN the ALL companies have to raise the prices of GOODS they sell to cover this increase and your back at square one.. I do understand that EVERYTHING has to be equal.. like people who are unemployed now who WERE living within their means until they lost their jobs and had to take a job at 1/2 of what they were making.. their house/rent .. etc didn’t go DOWN because they make less.. so there is NO way to cut back and make it.. they can quit buying..but depending on how much they bought this would NOT help out much.. it’s still in the MATH.. if you make $6 an hour and a # of beef costs $4 you have only $2 left.. IF you make $10 an hour and a # of beef cost $8 you still only have $2 left only the $2 isn’t worth as much as it was when you were making less.. These unions aren’t really thinking past how much they can line their pockets with.. Wait until people figure out that UNIONS are the rich ones and it’s their money that will be redistributed..

They have continued to finance us, in part, as it is weakening us by continuing the war on terror in the Middle East (not that it is not justified, as it exists)…Much as the U.S.S.R. was weakened by us secretly supporting Afghanistan in the 80’s. But if America falls, Freedom in the world is GONE and China’s position in the world just increased to number 1. China has been increasing the size and strength of their military 3-5%+ in personnel and machinery for a multitude of years now, and that is just what escapes into the public domain. Who are they gearing up for? If you connect all the events happening in the world right now, which the mainstream media never seems to do, this is all extremely concerning. China has the population alone that once the tech advantage of the U.S. is reduced or eliminated (say an EMP), they would be a formidable enemy as they can continue to throw people at the bullets until the bullets run out and they keep coming. Then you add the technology that has been sold or stolen (600 super-computers by Clinton, Los Alamos secrets stolen via a Chinese citizen who gained American citizenship and was put into an area with secretive information, etc.) that advanced their military 20-30 years. It would not surprise me to actually see them on American soil when the inevitable ‘social unrest’ begins. When $150/ barrel oil deals the death blow to an already faltering economy and people get hungry creating unrest, China can insist to maintain law under the guise of U.N. “peacekeepers”. We have also exported most of our steel industries and manufacturing base over the last 25 years to eliminate the capacity to quickly rebuild if we did rebel. This while funneling trillions of dollars to the potential enemy from our private sector in our lust for cheap products, the American citizens have helped fund the above. Now factor in the ability to make war largely resides on access to petroleum, which fuels your “war machines”, and our lack of financial stability coupled with lack of our own oil fields and you have further weakened the once great giant and have reduced the former super power (U.S.) to a country that could be beaten. Add porous borders into the mix to allow enemies to get entrenched on your soil and it will not take a 9 year war to beat us. Our National Security has been made very vulnerable by administrations on both sides of the isle for quite some time. Then Chuck is likely right, we will lose land but in an occupied state, to a foreign debtor when we have defaulted. Of course these are all likely just random unrelated events:).
