Van Jones Slams the Tea Party Again: ‘The So-Called Patriots…Smashing Down Every American Institution’

Van Jones, never one to hold back in his criticism of the Tea Party, said during a recent appearance that the movement and its “so-called patriots” are essentially out to destroy America.
The Washington Examiner reported Friday that the former White House green jobs czar’s comments came during an anti-Gov. Scott Walker rally in Wisconsin on Sunday:
“At this point in this struggle, it’s the so-called patriots who are the ones who are smashing down every American institution….It’s the so-called patriots, the ones who come out here with their Tea Party and the flags and call themselves patriots — they’re the ones that are smashing down our unions, smashing down public education, smashing down every American institution that we built, and our parents built, and our grandparents built to make this country great.”
Jones added that the Tea Party is trying to “take a wrecking ball — and paint it red, white, and blue — and smash down all the things our parents did for us.”
He called for higher taxes on the wealthy to fund state programs, saying that it is “absurd” to believe that the United States or Wisconsin has a fiscal crisis. “You’ve got some rich folks in Wisconsin so rich, the Pharaohs are goin’, ‘Damn! Y’all came up!’” Jones said.

You take for grant those things given to you and you don’t have an understanding for their value. When I was in junior high I wanted a pair of Nike Air Jordans which were $150. My parents were not about to buy a 13 year old a $150 pair of shoes and they told me that if I wanted them to go out and earn the money to buy them myself. So I got a paper route and delivered news papers every day and saved the money to buy them. After I had saved $100 my parents chipped in for the rest and I got them. I took such good care of them that after over a year they looked just about as good as the day that I got them. A friend of mine then offered to buy them from me for $100 so I sold them to him and bought the next years Air Jordans. His mother gave him the money to buy them and he wore them when he went out skateboarding and they didn’t last but a month or so before he had them totally ruined; scuffed and torn to shreds. He didn’t care though, as he didn’t have to EARN them. Thus is the downfall of socialism and socialistic programs in my opinion. I thank my parents for instilling in me a strong work ethic as I learned at a young age the value of a dollar.

Our social safety net program has created a permanent underclass that relies on monthly payments from the government to survive and now they have no willingness to strive for a better life. Let‘s take other people’s money to make this program bigger. Social security and the entire idea of a company or government providing a retirement is really going well. Companies go bankrupt and then we the tax payer are responsible for paying this “entitlement”. Guess what everyone you were lied to. We need to reform the system and everyone who wishes to retire comfortably needs to sacrifice now and put money away. Van you are a piece of $%&# who’s entire existence relies on telling people that someone else is responsible for them. The safety net needs to be taken care of at a local level that way if somebody is just lazy they won’t get the help. Public education is a great idea but the unions need to go because all they do is protect bad teachers therefore hurting students. I wish that this kind of vile demonization would go away but everyone needs to realize that if you are a tax payer you need to vote this kind of person out of office. Almost 50% of the country does not contribute to the betterment of society, if this doesn’t change our country is done.

Most of those black people raising cain, came here on boats and snuck into this country. Florida has had a time with keeping these people at bay because of the influx. We gave them refuge and they give this country disease and hate and voodoo. Our black race of Americans are not kin to most of the dark ones here from other countries. The decendents of those into the country, came willingly. Our black American race is being set up and used. The leftists will not use the ones who are Christians. True Christians can spot a liar and a deceiver. They have a mind set that puts God first, but those who are deceiving the American public are here because they wanted to be, as are their multiple decendants. These are the ones who are demanding, these are the trouble makers trying to, because of their color, grab what is not rightfully theirs. These are the ones whose decendents were not original Americans who had forefathers as slaves. White people worked just as hard to make this country fit to live in for future generations and there would be no progress if it was not for the goodness of God whose Truth is in the hearts of those who care for others of all races. Don’t call other people troublemakers with out listening to their complaints. Our children does not have the quality of education that we used to because you can’t always lay off bad teachers.
You say we are bringing down what our parents had built but the present administration is bringing down the future of our young children and grandchildren.
The future politicians should show that all can be honest and trustworthy, tell the truth not lies, love not hate and if we can look in the mirror and say honestly you are a respected human being with those traits then God Bless you.
