Is Van Jones Saying the Tea Party Doesn’t Believe in Justice?

In another video from the Power Shift 2011 conference, former White House green jobs czar proclaimed that he loved tea partiers and liberty, but didn’t understand their apparent distaste for justice.

Also playing to the young audience, Jones proclaimed that “DC is stuck on stupid,“ but young generations ”are rising.”  He also encouraged activists to explain that the climate movement isn’t just about “hippie power,” but that it is a vision of liberty and justice for all.

“Shift the power!” he concluded.

As I noted on the blog earlier today, Eyeblast’s Stephen Gutowski has posted a number of videos from the weekend conference, including Obama EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson who praised the progressive audience for combining the movement for social justice with “environmental justice.”

    So if I’m told I hate this or that, certainly I believe them. How much better judge of character they are than me. I don’t have a camera or microphone in front of me 23 &3/4 hours a day. So I don’t count…

      Glenn covered this video on the radio today. And I can‘t believe none of them gave the proper response to Jones’ call for “liberty and justice for all.“ Jones says ”Justice for African-Americans. Justice for lesbians and gays. Justice for native Americans……….”

      The only logical response is, “Mr. Jones, you forgot “Justice for liars. Justice the violent. Justice for those who incite violence. Justice for the seditionist. Justice for the traitor.”

      Equal justice is NOT equal if the guilty are not punished. I never conspired to blow up buildings. But Bill Ayers did. True justice would find me innocent, but it would also find Ayers guilty.

      Justice doesn’t just “protect the innocent” (Jones’ call for justice), it also punishes the GUILTY. And if it doesn’t punish the guilty, it is NOT “justice” at all.

      Van Jones started “STORM” in order to push for a revolution against the government. That is sedition. It was also inciting violence. That’s another crime. If he really wanted “justice” for all, both he and Bill Ayers would necessarily need to be PUNISHED for their crimes. That’s the “other side” of “justice” that Jones does NOT want.

      People…we’d better start calling a spade a spade (no pun intended..honest) because the time for using the terms “progressive, “liberals”, “socialists”…has ended…they are ALL Communists…plain and simple!

      Take a step back…ponder how manipulative this is:

      Get the young, impressionable minds while you can instill the idea that they are fighting for a cause. Any cause. Thats the way!
      Definitely a Communist and Racist, and our Prez had him in the oval office! Nice, America!
      Its not good to think that Obama may be elected again. If somehow he is defeated, it will only be a matter of time before the youth of today, trained to follow hateful, racist anti-Americans like Jones and Obama, will be able to win elections with shear numbers.
      All these past 50 years of organizing is finally paying off for the radicals.

      Social justice is when those who apply themselves and do their jobs get ahead in life ..right?
      Social justice is rewards system based on merit and performance not on skin tone,gender,or sexual orientation…right?
      Social justice is system where everyone has an equal chance to improve their status in society…right?
      Because what Jones and his ilk are teaching is none of those things.Their idea of social justice is everyone makes the same reguardless of job performance,merit,ability or desire. Their social justice rewards based showing up and time served reguardless of performance or ability. See here‘s the problem Van Jones represents those who can’t or won’t apply themselves in society these are the cripplers of our ability to compete in the manufacturing and are crippling the economy at the same time by sucking the majority of spending via welfare,medicaid,federal educatyionstax dollars,and criminal justice.

      Van Jones and others like him are using the techniques of shady religious sect leaders to gather support. They are not looking for political supporters, they are gathering “believers.” Lacking any example of a successful socialist society (amid so many failures!), they avoid that subject altogether. Instead, they preach Justice with a capital “J”–implying God’s Justice, without saying so. They go for the easiest prey–to be found on college campuses. Why do you suppose so many sects are banned from college campuses? They are just preaching an empty ideoligical political “religion,” one where they would be in power.

      It seems funny all the kids seem to buy this BS but REMEMBER in the 60′s many of them did to .. however MOST of them went out and got jobs and REALITY set in.. all parents should be watching WHAT their kids are involved in.. even when they are in college.. more so if the parents are paying for it. .. and making sure their voices are as loud or LOUDER than the WING NUTS… which is why I suggested that all that can afford to take a few college classes make sure they do not to work for a degree but to keep an eye on what is going on.. Seniors many times get FREE classes.. have an open conservation about EQUAL JUSTICE.. etc.. My niece went up to her local school when her daughter came home and was telling the class that TX, CA, AZ we all stole from MEXICO and that there were ONLY black slaves .. having been taught REAL history my great niece knew this to be untrue.. after my niece went up to school and threatened (it came down to that) to call all local media.. aldermen.. newspapers.. etc.. the teacher was made to apologize to the class and to recant his statements.. I have a VERY loud family when stuff like this happens.. we all have to be involved at whatever level we can be..

      I‘m in the Tea Party and he isn’t my brother. Jones wouldn’t have survived in my family. Grandma would have put him to work for $1.25 an hour. He would have learned the meaning of hard work and the value of a dollar. Grandma insisted on achievement and success and wouldn’t accept lame excuses for mediocrity or failure. Anybody who wants to be “equal” lacks ambition.
